The plot was well thought out for a web drama. Usually, web dramas don't have much meaning behind events that occur and viewers get confused but this drama had all of them carefully thought out. A lot happened at the end but I didn't feel rush at all which is also another good thing. In summary, the story and characters assigned all matched well with one another.
Acting/Cast
This was the first drama I have watched from both the main leads and the acting was better than expected. Not many idols could pull of acting very well and Suho did a decent job - although he was a tad stiff.
Music
The OST for this drama is also another great element. It's a bit catchy, slow and relives the memories I had when watching it. So it was good, but I prefer other OSTs. However, the music and soundtracks played throughout the drama were all at the right timing so I really felt as though I was right there in the moment.
Rewatch value
I hardly rewatch dramas but seeing as this is a web drama and is fairly short, I would definitely rewatch it in the future when I have time x
Overall
If you're wondering whether to give this drama a shot, I definitely say yes! It's a short drama with a lot of meaning and potential to give you a variety of different feels and who knows, maybe it'll be one of your favourite web dramas of all time (like me!).
Happy watching & hope my quick review helped some of you struggling whether to watch it (: xo

It is an easy romance, A girl who becomes a GRP and falls in love to a famous singer. She begs to return to the world, so she's been given a chance to fulfil her wishes and when those are completed she's going to die again.
Woo Joo"Universe" also fell in love with her. they overcome many things with love but the end.. Both happy and sad..
If Byul did not had the accident that day, she would potentially living happily ever after with Woo Joo.
It does not have a rewatch value, but I will most probably download the episodes and turn it into a movie and rewatch like that.
As there are still some stuff that I do not get, as I do watch 5-6 dramas in a week, it all juggles up after a while

That was such a sweet little drama to watch. Even though there are some things that doesn't add up or weren't enough explained, I will forgive the story its flaws since it only had 3 hours to build up the whole thing, including the fast romance part.
Everything else was fluffy and funny. The female characters might have been stereotype, exaggerated and a little too childish but some of them still grew on me. Most of all the lead and the ghost. I was especially impressed with the leads acting and I'm excited to watch more with her. She has some real potential to pull of some awesome roles. Her transformation (also the visual one) throughout the drama, from someone who looks like a witch in training from Wicked, to a fangirl that almost faints at the sight of her idol to a girl who experiences her first love, was fun to watch, even though it might not be realistic.
Suho who plays the male lead... Well, he might not be the biggest actor of his generation (yet?) but he did well enough to make the story work and make me care for his love story. That he can sing is a given considering that he's EXO's leader (=frontman?). I'm wondering if he would be able to manage more difficult roles, too. So far his acting is not sticking out from the crowd.
I really liked the visual aspects, colors and cinematography, and the directing style which totally added to the fluff but also to the heartbreaking scenes. They even had some unexpected side twists at the end, I wouldn't have guessed at the beginning.
I totally liked the music. Not only the Korean song that were sang by the lead himself but the whole contributing part of songs that carried the mood. Instead of underlining the story with instrumental pieces or other Korean songs, they used well known English hits. I loved that. It was kinda different, and even though I usually don't like that in dramas, here it kind of gave me a nostalgic feeling due to the fact that I recognized them and my own fangirl period.
Of course, quite a generous rating from me again but I don't regret watching this. A short piece of fluff and lighthearted melo, but worth it if you don't mind minor flaws and remind yourself that this is nothing too deep.

Star of the Universe is definitely not a masterpiece. The pacing when looking at the progresion of our two main characters' realationship is pretty bad, not to mention how weird the setting is in general. A die hard fan dating her idol is weird and very unnatural. I found myself thinking things like "You're not really in love with him" and "You just love the freedom you experience with her" which is not a good think if you're trying to write an engaging romance story, because I must want for them to be together! Funny enough they actually adressed this issue or a more accurate way of saying it would be that they touced the surface of the problem but I'm glad even for that. The other thing is that the story starts very slowly but then they rush the important things. It's like at the start the director thought that he was making a full lenght drama, taking the time to set up the story, but then realised that he somehow needs to make the romance believable even though so much time was wasted. Nonetheless I really liked the way it ended, because the story had some smart turns and the truth that time heals all wounds stands. Every drama where the characters got together out of nowhere feels ok by the end because you have seen them being all lovey dovey enough to believe it. It's really cheap but hey it works.
What I appreciated a lot in this drama was the smart and really good looking cinematography and fitting music when it was really needed. This show here made me realise one important thing that I can't believe I missed. Adding a cheesy song on top of a romantic scene makes it really cliche thus failing to bring out meaningful emotions. I was so used to it that I even forgot how a good piano track makes a romantic scene shine but Star of the Universe reminded me of it and I'll be forever grateful.
I loved Ji Woo, she is a good actress, but to be honest my liking for her is mostly because of her appearance. She has this subtle unique beauty to her that definitely stands out from the crowd. Kim Jun Myeon as you can probably guess is not the best at acting, he felt stiff and unnatural but not the worst.
Overall Star of the Universe is a really good quick watch for people like me who have no time but desperately crave their romance drama, other than that it's pretty skippable, because it doesn't really offer anything new and does a poor job at presenting the story.

First of all I want to say that I have just finished watching this about an hour ago, so this review might not be the best one out there haha. The story is about a singer, Woo Joo, that has been losing a lot of fans and has lost the motivation and will to continue living. He has lost his meaning.
The second lead is a grim reaper Byul that can't remember her previous life , all that she remembers is that she was a fan of Woo Joo, even as a grim reaper she continues watching over him.
To see how Woo Joo, a very pessimistic and uptight person found a reason to go on doing what he loves, keep living and smiling was really inspiring and motivating, I want to point out how much Byul matured thru out the series also.
This series uplifted my spirit a lot, I love it so much .
There's a quote in one of the last episodes I believe, '' You are not a spec of dust, but a star'', it actually made me teary eyed, I will never forget it.
All of the actors did well in portraying the characters and story, the OST was very good, I listen to ''Curtain'' a lot, it suited the series well.
It was very easy to watch and follow this series, for the short time it had, a lot definitely happened.
The humor of this show was A++++++++++
If you are a fan of uplifting, funny and cute shows, I believe you'll like this one, I certainly did haha.
I apologize for the lack of information of the actual plot, but I wanted to keep this as spoiler free as I could.
This is the first review I ever wrote, so that's why it isn't very structured haha, hope it isn't a problem. I'll get better I promise :')

Let me just say, I really couldn't handle Byul's character. It was either the fact she was a fan girl acting stalk-ish or it was the actor's acting. Ugh!
Woo Joo's character was okay, pretty bland though. I know he's from EXO, but...nope didn't care for.
The beginning grabbed me just a tiny bit, and I like to finish bite size dramas because they're short. So, I don't know what or how the drama did this, but I got emotional at the end. That's it, not going to explain, I might spoil things. Hehe...
Any way, not one of my favorite bite size dramas, but a simple and quick watch.
I can't really say anything else though, it didn't really make a big impact on me.

Short dramas like this one are usually not that great, but this one wasn't half bad.
I enjoyed watching it, i like the plot but i don't necessarily love the way the plot was played out.
I like the idea of this drama and the over all story line, but the relationship, how they get together and how fast everything happens, maskes it really unrealistic, but you shouldn't have too high expectations when you watch these dramas, they are trying to tell us a story in a very limited amount of time which can be hard, but this is by far the best short drama that i've watched.
7/10

As for the acting, Suho and the female lead were great in their roles. Suho suits the role of a famous singer, who's heart just became cold to things as he lived a boring life. Suho looks mature enough and is cold and rich enough for the role :D Suho is not my bias in EXO but he was so handsome and flawless in this drama that I might swerve into stanning him soon. He definitely has a talent in acting but he needs to work on it more. I also like the idea how they chose the female lead character someone not as famous but is great at acting and would complement Suho.
the OST is just so good as well plus they were original!
if you are looking for a short fluffy and romantic, with slight melo themed story this is highly recommended for you!! :)
