ACTING/CAST: The boys did well together and I liked the mom.
MUSIC: "Jigsaw Heart" by Boy Sompob is such a beautiful song; my new favorite Thai song.
REWATCH VALUE: I've seen it many times.
OVERALL: An almost perfect short BL movie.

The best short film I have watched. A beautiful story about first love, a mother’s love and love in all.THE STORY:
The story follows Than and his mother. Than and his mother have a close relationship and know almost everything about each other. What Than’s mother doesn’t know is her son is gay and in a relationship with Palm. When she discovers their relationship, she is angry and causes Than to storm out on her. While staying with Palm, he realises that he must right his relationship with his mother and returns home. At this time his mother does not talk of his sexual identity. All the while he has been chatting with a secret neighbour, who is revealed to have been his mother all along. Than realises his mother has always known. The next day, while he tries to apologise, his mother apologises instead. He also apologises for hurting her and they make up. The short ends with Than and Palm hugging signifying their happy relationship.
THE ACTING:
What great acting! Although this series has War as Than, the mother turned out to be the breakout star. The way she cried when apologising to Than had me crying.
THE PRODUCTION:
The production could have been handled better, but I believe for a short it did its job.
THE OST:
The OST is awesome. Boy Sompob is on the track list so you know it’s going to be good!
I hope everyone tries this at least one time, as this movie deserves way more love. I also hope this review makes you watch it. Thank You!

Touching, Mother & Son Navigating Coming Out.
I was surprised at how emotional it made me when it's only 16 min long (got a little choked up)! The focus is really on the relationship between the son and mother and the story is relatable from both character's perspective. The story overall is sweet. On the Blued YouTube channel (in the USA).
The review by Giuca is also good and summarizes the details well.
GENERAL SPOILER
My rating is reduced due to the scene that starts with the schoolmate forcing himself on the lead boy, which is brief and not at all graphic but trivialized with a light-hearted attitude. The lead boy has invited an anonymous boy from online to try things out with but changes his mind when he sees it's the school bully. The bully turns out to be very sweet to the boy but the way they start is problematic and didn't need to be written that way.

Blued app short film ad
In a series of short film ads Blued produced, this one is for Mother's Day. So accordingly, this is a story about a mother coming to terms with her teenage son's burgeoning sexuality. The relationship between the mother and her son is precious. Mother is sad because she's not close to her son as much as she used to be: she notices the changes in her son. And while her son is getting more and more distant, the mother is worried and is looking for new means of communication with her son. Realizing that he is looking to identify where his penchant lies, the mother tries to talk to him through an app.
The "difficult-to-communicate" mother/son relationship is a usual one in adolescence and focusing this film on it is an excellent idea. Through misunderstandings, errors and generosity, they manage to mend the damaged relationship. The character of the mother is someone we all dream of having as a mother: kind, understanding, open minded and most of all loving unconditionally! Her son is a typical teen thinking the adults are the enemy.
The boy uses the app to try out a gay relationship: girls do nothing for him. The person who shows up is his schoolmate. Now here is the huge problem with this film: the schoolmate forces himself upon the boy! They eventually end up having a relationship, but was the force really necessary to make the point? This short scene shaved off two stars from my ratings.
It is a really good movie if you manage to make abstraction of a hugely problematic scene. The rest is perfect!
