This movie has a concept of sibling love, and although things are not as they appear, this aspect alone may be uncomfortable. However, if you suspend reality for an hour and half this film is fluffy, cute, entirely ridiculous, and whole lot of fun! Yes, the acting, plot, and screenwriting is questionable, but it will have you laughing and having a great time. The soundtrack is upbeat and the antics are hysterical.
Sometimes you just need a movie that can lift up your spirits and make you giggle like a 13-year-old girl, and this is definitely one. This can help especially if you delved into several serious melodramas of late. (I am currently re-watching Empress Ki and sometimes you need some silly fluff to break up THAT much angst). If you enjoy the manga style live actions such as Heroine Disqualified this is a fun watch and absolutely worth your time!
Happy Drama Watching! :)

Haruka is so so so good looking. I love his "tough guy, do anything to protect my sister, my sister is my soft spot" persona. So sweet and so cool all at the same time.

A story about two kids raised to believe their siblings but fatal attraction ensues in a "hilarious" platform. <---I don't even know if that should be funny. However, when it comes to Japanese films, jdoramas, mangas, and animes---you always give them a pass. I gave them a pass.
There are several variations of stories like this, most of them have ended very, very, very, very bad and I'm sure there are recommendations on them and if they aren't there. I'll be sure to recommend them. I guess blood relation would make a big difference though.
In any event. It sports hilarity, pretty poor acting (actually---really bad acting in a major motion picture) <---some of the hilarity is from the bad acting. It's just the guys being so over the top. I'm like none of you are Yamapi...by the way not to spoil to much but for real---that's actually some of the great scenes.
The movie stole scenes from other famous manga to live action films---look for the Easter Eggs. I sort of spoiled one---but there are like 4-5 others. Hence, the other points of hilarity. I think if you didn't see these other films you wouldn't get it.
Anyway...It's not a film I would rewatch again...I'd only aim for certain scenes---like the bath scene and permission to date scene. Then I'd call it quits. Nothing else is memorable and the movie is rather forgettable.

Standard watchable youth drama with a bit of a twist
I don't think anyone who has watched a decent number of j-drama would be surprised by this movie. Fairly standard set up with an over protective brother who is secretly in love with his sister. The sister was confused about her feelings both because of the brother's love-hate behaviour as well as the taboo nature if she was attracted to him. Obviously, the drama can only go for the sad ending or a happy ending so I won't spoil it for you.The acting was fine. A bit of overacting was to be expected. Music was un-intrusive. The OTP chemistry was quite good and they look cute together. More so than the FL/2ML pairing. Rewatch value is good.

This is a re-watch,and darn how i enjoyed it! It is stupidly cringy at times...but the chemistry and relationship between Setoka and Haruka really makes up for it.I just love them in every scene together.Haruka`s endless love for Setoka is beautiful...always guarding her and loving her secretly!Ahhhh...i love romance!

This is the first time I watched episodes that are incomplete then you have to watch the continuity of the series but this time its a movie.... wow!! What an idea!! Its a trick for me as viewer wanting to have more..
The characters are all good but haruka is the one whom I guess is really the focus of the story and eventually the one who giggles me till the end...hahaahaa... Might be because of being a prince charming who protect you from any cause.... so ironic to have that relationship epecially when you both are siblings.. yucks! But I thought maybe there is a way that their feeling will work out. Then it did!! they are not siblings!! Thank goodness!! Hahaha...
Setoka is a good actress. But the story did not focus on her part. They dont give a story on where she comes instead they went on her eagerness to have boyfriend.
To sum up, it is a good series and movie.. it made me back too highschool.. hahaha... watch this!!
I hope they will have another seriees this time not a mini series.. it should be a lengthy episodes.. hahahaha...

I watched them regarding as friends.
●I had a hard time to make up mind due to its concept as I am from country India where we say brother and sister to neighbors, seniors, auto-driver, or any stranger. And brother-sister bond is considered very sacred. So I took a chance and watched as they are not blood related. So my first impression was like does the brother interferes too much into the sister dating life, that she ends up getting rejected. And thats what the synopsis also says.
●Story- it was kind of fresh concept, where kids who grew up as siblings are infatuated and then fall in love. I like how its executed and the truth is revealed in first 20 min (sigh of relief). rest is how Haruka protects her and how setoka comes to realize her true feelings. There are many sweet moments. All the guys she chase after are really funny. That English teacher who hits on the girl, and all girls swoon over him is really funny. Its cringed me yet I laughed. The guy who was a doctor was also looking like as high schooler.
●Acting- Ryota as Haruka was handsome teenage entangled in the sibling relation. he showed mature yet jealous brother feeling nicely.
Tao as Setoka was cute but a rather confused person, with so many guys around her she seemed really confused. And ater knowing truth, her 360 degree change in feeling to her brother was unconventional.
The chemistry is amazing, with all the fights and friendship
●Music- it was good and made the scenes more beautiful and alive. The kid scene was really amazing.
●Rewatch- yes!! I liked the story and the acting was also good. They looked nice as a pair.
●Appreciation- as this is my first Japanese movie I am truly loving their language. I loved how they incorporated ORIHIME festival, traditional dressing i.e.YUKATA, otherwise in movies they show the couple going on trip and flirting or making up.
