Just finished watching this on Netflix.
I have to admit, I have scrolled past this one many times and never thought much of it, but today, having run out of dramas to watch, I finally pressed play.

I watched it all in one sitting and here's why:
*In the first episode it established the characters, and not only was the casting down right it paved the way to a really interesting body swapping story line. A teen girl & an arrogant top model.
*It addresses many of the issues if it was to really happen :) making it funny and not too outrageous in an already outrageous situation.
*The cast played their characters well, didn't have a moment where I thought "er.... really?" on top of that the humour was well written. Not too cheesy, just enough.
*I won't spoil the ending but I am so glad it ended how it did, no weird drag outs. It ended with full closure for us.

I only scored low for the music because in dramas the music is important to me, and in this one, I didn't really notice it, no memorable song, nothing. I may have to rewatch to listen out for it. For myself, I generally fall in love with the OST and go on to research the songs but not with this series.

It's a short series compare to what I normally watch, but I definitely will be recommending this to others, fun and humorous comedy before we sit through another drama.

Based on a concept known to most drama watchers, this drama focuses on the blooming romance of two people who share the same dream, in a light and comedic way. With a minimum amount of drama and quick problem solving, the whole greatness of a grown man high pitch screaming at his own penis made this drama easy to binge and leaves you in a great mood rather than frustration. To complete the scene, the writers came up with just the right support squad consisting of lovable characters with their own flaws, concerns and secrets, making this drama feel more realistic and fulfilled.

We have the clumsy and naive high school female lead.
The arrogant and unpleasant but secretly thoughtful male lead.
The understanding and supportive best friend.
The male model variety squad and of course that girl who just ruins it for everyone.

Paying some extra respect to actor Kang Dong Ho for turning into a real high school girl the moment the director said action, made me question if the creators had really found a way to switch bodies. Park Ji Yeon also did a great job playing a man, but the young woman in her came out at times which kind of broke the spell for me.
Although being supporters, the other cast members did a great job in giving life to their characters as well. Considering that the males had to do quite some daring acting, they all seemed comfortable and natural while doing it.

Being of a lower budget and having a shorter than average run time, this drama did feel a bit unrealistic at times. Although the unrealistic depiction of a models life can be forgiven, I'm not sure the scene where the main leads switch their bodies back, can. This is a fiction but theres still such a thing as taking it too far which was a big mistake on the writers side. Therefore, this drama gets kind of a childish stamp.

So if you like cute and conservative romance and is comfortable or enjoy skinship and close interaction between good looking men, then you might like this drama. It's light and bingable and is the perfect medicine if you're having a bad day.

ENJOY!

Decent-ish, nothing-out-of-the-ordinary show. The plot is something that's mildly common in asian fiction (mostly anime/manga), but it's decently executed. Characters are fun and their interactions are enjoyable. The lead pair has a lot of chemistry and I really liked the evolution of their relationship. My only real problem is that it's only 6 episodes long and that this show could have benefited more with a longer batch of episodes. A few things were not touched upon, mostly the bromanship between Na Jin Wook and Jae Bum, and the relationship between Park Na Rae and Wang Rim.
Overall, it's cute and very easy to watch, so I'd recommend it for those who want to watch something really short with decent quality.

I scrolled past this drama soooo many times on Netflix, because I thought it was a reality show. Then one day I actually went in and read about it and immediately started watching it. I watched all the episodes in on night and I loved it. It is so good and because it isn't that long you can easily watch it.
The whole storyline is great. Its not something you see often and I really liked that. I also liked the chemistry between the actors.
The actors were really good and I loved the main characters love story. I like these love-hate relationship so much and you really get that here.
Its very light and sweet with a comedic touch.
The actors are also very likable and have some very big personalities that suit this drama very well.
I can definitely recommend this drama. It is so great.

My opinion

The plot was very interesting, a typical change bodys novel but really enjoyable. I actually laughed several times.
The acting was very good especially about the male lead. The way of acting as a woman was really funny. I didn't hear a lot of music, so i think that there is a lack there.
The drama was short, funny and interesting. I really recommend if you wanna be distracted yourself for a time.
The second characters were not development, the only one i liked was the friend of the female lead. Would be a lot better if they develop the friends of the male lead a litlle more.

I did not expect much when I started watching it because, let's be honest, the story itself doesn't sound that special or creative but since the drama consists of only 6 episodes I thought I'd give it a try...and boy am I happy that I did! Seriously, I can't believe how much fun I had watching this! All of the characters are somewhat loveable and a bit quirky and even thought there are clichés here and there, overall, everyone's just really awesome. The two main leads though, they are really on another level...I read in one review that their acting really makes you think they actually found a way to switch bodies and I totally agree! Especially the male lead played the role so ridiculously well I almost couldn't believe it. I watched it all in one go and was kinda disappointed when it ended after what felt like a short time but all in all it was really well-rounded concerning the main story. I loved how they kind of hinted at a possible second season with the second female lead in the end although as a lot of time has already passed since this came out it probably won't happen anymore. Anyway, if you're looking for a short drama that a lot of hilarious moments, offers a lot of loveable characters and superb acting then you really should give this a try! I'm sure I'll even rewatch this because the male lead's acting is so incredibly awesome!

It is not worth the trip (゚ペ)?Don't waste your time!

“Bodyswap” series between a ML top model & a FL high school student.
Thank goodness there are lots of handsome guys (including Ahn Bo Hyun (。◕‿◕。))

BUT
- the story is clumsy, poorly written, not realistic. The characters' behavior is not believable.
- the casting is not good (high school girl with heavy makeup??)
- the production is abrupt, everything seems artificial.

=> Even if the series is short (6 episodes of 30 minutes), it seems too long !

=> Même si la série est courte (6 épisodes de 30 minutes), elle ne vaut pas le voyage (゚ペ)?Don't waste your time !

♥️ Yourself {but don't LUV yourself ;)} °7.5° °VG°

Han Seo Yun (played by Park Ji Yeon from Imitation) dreams of being a model, but she always seems to fall a little bit short ~ She's simply not tall enough. She hasn't given up yet, though. At a tryout where top models are the judges, she encounters supermodel & judge Na Jin Wook (Kim Dong Ho from Undercover). He seems to think it's his job to yank off the bandaid - he tells her to give up. She'll never be a model. Not unless she grows a few inches. Seo Yun is devastated. Later that evening her friends are consoling her at the karaoke bar while he, at the same time and place, has been dragged out with his friends for some karaoke.

Then things go sideways. They both end up on the roof when a big jolt of lightning strikes. Just like that and flash: Body switch! She's been a fan of his for a long time. He has nothing but disdain for her, but they'll have to work together so that neither ruins their respective lives. She's going to have to be a model - a male model. He has to go to school and take tests. No one can understand why Jin Wook is now taking orders from a HS girl. They must quickly figure out a way to ‘undo the done’.

Quite coincidentally, my “watch roulette” landed on a string of shows dealing with appearance and/or body swapping. Listed in order of low to high quality, I ended up watching MR in tandem with these shows: Abyss-4.7 (plenty of good elements and promise, but It ultimately fails miserably) 200 lb Beauty-6.5 (excellent elements but they fail to fashion it tightly & neatly) The Miracle-7.7 (great for tweens & older: It's excellent), and now this. It's a common device that is useful for putting our mind and emotions inside of another person. Also a common theme in anime, it's a look from a new perspective.

The leads scorch this runway. These kids can act. He has to play a teenage girl, and she has to play a man. And they do it very well. Watching her, in his body, interact with her girlfriend is particularly funny. Sometimes laugh out loud funny. In the USA we have some fantastic actors, without a doubt, but we have many more personalities. It's not a criticism, it is merely factual. For example, I have loved watching Ray Liotta ever since the 1986 movie Something Wild with Melanie Griffith. Regardless of the feature, he seems to only play: Ray Liotta. He's just one of many - actors who deliver delight with every moment on screen largely by playing identical roles. The point is that Hollywood's a little bit out of balance when it comes to personalities vs serious ACTORS, and many of our most talented actors are imported from the UK. Americans that aren't watching foreign features are missing some of the best acting the world has to offer.

The romance is good. The situations, the timing, the writing, the acting, the directing - it's all done with a skilled hand. It seems like it will be a shallow and empty show, but it maintains its self-respect. The interactions feel real and the attraction seems genuine. It's in their eyes. Good romance conveyed through the eyes, IRL and on film.

There's weaknesses. It falls short in some areas. They could have played up the new difference in strength a little more. She is now he. She can push him around some - and he definitely has something coming. They missed some opportunities to have more fun with that. There's some plot devices that feel wedged in poorly, like the mini drama in which an ankle injury might get in the way of an important show. The weirdest thing about it is how they become attracted to eachother. Can you imagine kissing yourself? I can't. I know we're supposed to love ourselves… but that doesn't mean we're supposed to LUV ourselves…

Nevertheless, at a mere 6 25-minute episodes (it's short!) this is a great choice for teens and romance fans.

Seemed like a low budget show

So, overall, the show was very cute and they packed a lot into six episodes. I enjoyed when their bodies were switched. He did an excellent job of portraying a more feminine form, and she did a great job of being more "tough". Being short, there was not any wasted time, which I always appreciate.

The only reason I rated it down was that the production value was seriously lacking. It seemed more like an After School Special. The lighting left everyone (especially the male lead) with a slightly yellowish tinge. And the makeup on the male lead was awful. It wasn't until the last couple of scenes that he looked attractive.

Barring those things, the story was good and they did a good job of character progression - they both got to see that the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence, and they could appreciate their own lives a little more.

...

the production was good, I can't complain .
I also say that the performance was incredible, it would be a sin if I complained.

I love the actors, I loved the characters.

Of course, not everything is perfect, I can't lie, but what a drama that doesn't have a single flaw.

So in conclusion, I recommend...

I say it's worth watching, maybe it's bad for some, but for me it was good.

This is just my opinion, you better watch it and have your own opinion.

I don't know what to say, because I think everyone has their own opinion.

BOM!
