Atashinchi no Danshi (2009)

I am going to divide my review in positive (+) and negative (-) points: 



+ One thing that immediately caught my eye are the well-chosen backdrops. They made the whole setup feel more real.

+ The choice of the main cast was really good - almost all actors are eye-candy. 

+ The story progresses really well as it takes the time to dive into each family members past, interests and problems. It was also nice to see how the characters grew attached to each other.


+ Original Plot: ‚Girl is in debt’ is nothing new but with additional plot points such as: a 20-year-old woman becomes the „mother“ to 6 boys ranging in ages child to adult and has mother-goals to fulfill makes this whole setup unique.
+  Even when facing new challenges the main plot never loses sight of the original premise.

- Unfortunately the acting was a bit stiff from time to time - especially from Maki I’d have loved to see a better performance. 


- The middle part of this drama was a bit repetitive because of it’s repeated pattern.
- As the drama goes on it becomes more and more unrealistic. I understand that the writers wanted to underline the newly formed bonds between the characters but did the castle really need to become a transformer for that?

+/- Plot points were a little bit childish sometimes but the overall message was clear and beautiful. 


This drama wasn't perfect - but I still might still rewatch it since I kind of love the whole setup and the weird characters.
I would recommend this drama to people that like: Ikemen, family drama and comedy.

The plot of the drama is definitely something rare to find but at the same time it was a rather boring story that still managed to teach something by the end of it however I found the development really slow and I think that it is a drama that could have ended with less episodes aired. It was unnecessarily long.

The acting of the drama, I won't lie, it was certainly not convincing. If anything I would call it mediocre. Most of the actors in this, but mukai osamu, were not that great. Most of the time I failed to really sympathize with any of them. I think though that the writing and drama itself did not give a chance to the actors to show what they have. It was mostly about the main girl who certainly kept playing in an awkward way throughout.

The music of this drama was okay. upbeat in a way.

As far as rewatching goes, I think it is each to their own :3

this story is absolutely fun, the woman here who is as young as all the boys in this story fit to be a sister or a girfriend instead ends up being their mother, their father left some stuff for the inheritence after his death, so as the story goes on , it turns out to be a great and funny adventur also sort of a puzzel game to find more things one after other using small hints nd secret doors and stuff .The brothers were not united at the begining when the story starts but one after the another full of fun episodes they unite and become a true family as well along with solving those puzzels using crazing invented toys made by their father .And oh yes the ending song is just superb.

Боже мой - трава была забористей как никогда. И еще я удивляюсь "Алисе в стране чудес"... Здесь сценаристы скурили целое поле. Сериал вообще не имеет логики, и идет как сказка, с приятными актерами и нужной нотацией прямо в лоб. Иногда последнее напрягает. Интересно, аниме или манга была перед сериалом или это эксклюзив? Потому что смотрится иногда по исполнению как комедийная анимашечка.
Ну а так, я свунилась по Маки, ну и ладушки.
