To be honest, I was very hesitant about watching this drama because I thought it was going to be very over the top and fake, but I was surprised in the end.

For me it was a 'Just one more episode' drama and I ended watching it all in one day. The actors portray their characters perfectly and the ending song made me dance in excitement. The story line was was great but re-watching this series would be a bit of an effort. I will definitely scan back some of the episodes and re-watch parts of it but the whole series isn't a must.

This is a very funny and bubbly drama that I recommend to those who liked 'Hana Kimi'.It had a few of the same actors and has the same 'Let's do it!' feel to it. :D

This is one of my favourite dramas. Every cast member is brilliant, the storyline is brilliant and I can watch it over and over again.

The story is of a woman whose father left her all his gambling debts. After running away and living like a homeless person she eventually meets a billionaire who runs a company. He agrees to pay off her debts if he marries her and becomes "mother" to his six grown adoptive sons. I think its absolutely hilarious, Even though the plot can be a bit silly its still somehow believable. This drama is great. Its got a really good mix of emotional scenes and comedy. It had me laughing and crying but mostly crying with laughter!

All the acting is great, three of my favourite actors in one drama? yes please. Horikita Maki is really good as always and Yamamoto Yusuke is just his usual crazy self.

I really wanted a break from watching the serious k-dramas and came across Atashinchi no Danshi and I'm so glad I did! This drama is so hilarious with one of the best casts for a comedy I've ever seen. I fell in love with each and every one of the characters. Plus its wacky storyline just made the whole drama all the more entertaining. But don't just think it's all knee slapping comedy (even thought most of it is)...it's a got a great little tid bit of romance as well. This has to be the first drama I've ever watched that I didn't spot the two love interests right away. It took a bunch of episodes before I realized who she'd end up with. Talk a about romantic suspense! :PPP

Overall this is a light hearted and fun drama with an awesome cast that you'll want to watch again and again!

The story was really fun. If you like mishaps and goofy dramas this is for you. The storyline was interesting and drew you through to the last episode. The guys are all cute in their own way.

There really isn't any drama or suspense in the storyline. Everything can be anticipated. The characters are all overacted which may annoy some. There are a few clumsy attempts at character development. But I still enjoyed it for what it is.

I would recommend this drama to people who liked RHPlus (although Atashi no Danshi is not as cheesy.) It's goofy, light hearted, and superficial. Sometimes you're just in the mood for that. At that time, check this out (^_*) v

This is one of those dramas that keep you interested even though it's weird. Comedy, lots of unique boys, fights, pranks & maturatity ensues.

Story is very weird & the first episode kind of proves that, but it gets better and better as the episodes go by. But don't let the first episode or the story put you off, it's really funny, heartwarming & there are some serious issues in this drama.

The characters are so unique and different that I got to like all the boys and the main female lead's friends. There are a couple of life lessons along the way & I love the way the boys interact with not only the female lead, but also each other. I love how they all start to mature by the end of the drama. The characters are pretty fleshed out(the main ones of course).

music was okay, but not memerable. But some of the bgms are great to set the mood of the scene.

I would re-watch this when I want some laughs through out my day.

Overall, I recommend this drama to who like some or most of the cast( because it's a star cast), pranks, coming-of-age, comedy, their a little romance, eye-candy, heartfelt moments, some life lessons & some Japanese uniqueness, then you'll like this drama.

First off, id like to say that I am a huge fan of reverse harem! and thats probably one of the reasons i liked this drama so much!

Atashinchi no Danshi is a light hearted and unique drama with a lot of comady and random over the top scenes that made this drama so fun to watch. the storyline is original and there wasn't any predicable or cliche moments that would get in the way of you expectations, its the type of drama where you don't know what is going to happen and anything can really happen!

in my opinion i thought the actors played their roles really well and i liked the way they all interacted with each other - Im a huge fan of Yamamoto Yusuke and Seto Koji!

Seto Koji did a really good job acting as a recluse and Okura Takeru made me laugh a alot - the entire cast did!

even though this drama is centred around family and comady, it did treat us to a little bit of romance - but i wish they added more romance into the storyline!

all in all, i absolutly love this drama! it was one of the first dramas i ever watched and id recommend it to anyone who is in the mood for a fun, quirky and light hearted drama and is a fan of Yamamoto Yusuke!

Atashinchi no Danshi has one of the best and original storylines I have that I have come across in the dramas that I have seen. Nothing was cliche about it throughout. I enjoyed it right from the first scene itself. The premise of the story is hilarious and all the episodes made me laugh. They had some fresh jokes to offer and thank goodness for the fact that the expressions weren't as overdone as I have seen in other Jdramas. So that is why this comes one level higher than the others.

It was easier to enjoy this show because I was so familiar with the cast. Horikita Maki has probably acted in the best Jdramas. And I was so glad to see Mukai Osamu whom I had liked in Seigi No Mikata as well. He is a pretty likable actor. I also loved Kaname Jun- he was a real eye candy on the show. I wasn't pleased with the presence of Yamamoto Yusuke. I tried not to be, but ended up being biased this time around too. I don't know why he ends up being the most annoying in every show that he acts in. This show did permanent damage to his image in my mind and I probably won't watch something that he stars in in the future again. He was hard to stand in Ouran High School Club Host too. Anyway, I did like the rest of the cast. They are all good actors and I was surprised at Seto Koji's performance. He is completely different from how he was in Koizora. The character development of all the characters was present until the end.

The pacing of the show was good uptil the eighth episode but after that it got too dragged. Had they finished it in 9 episodes instead of 11, it would have been an excellent show. Other than that, the Shinzo flashbacks also got boring after a certain number of episodes.

My FANGIRL highlights: I probabaly liked Chisato and Sho scenes the best. Even though they had very few scenes, they were all memorable to me. One of the biggest cons of the show is its lack of romance. Chisato and Sho had great chemistry with each other and I wished they had focused more on that. Also their forbidden romance as stepmom and son was a great compelling factor to root for them. In any way, they are definitely one of my favorite Jdrama couples. This show gets an 8 mainly for Sho and Chisato. They really got my heart beating faster whenever they kissed or whenever they fell on each other. I also kind of wished that they had been given proper closure in the end. I don't like open endings.

I think this show has a decent rewatch value even if I won't be seeing it again. Well- probably apart from the scenes of my favourite couple.

Atashinchi no Danshi was one of the my first dramas, so I feel a small sentiment to this story. I've still claimed that it's amazing productiona and someday I rewatched it.

Chisato got the chellange and she persuades guys to herself every day. I don't have to hide, that exactly these boys encouraged me to notice this drama.

It was... Good. Not great but still... Good. Intriguing and incredibly cheesy, but in a nice way. And I'm not really all that great with cheesy things, but this pulled it off sooo... Props to the writers for that.

Story: As previously mentioned, I'm not really for all the cheesiness, but as far as the story goes, it was unique, new and well thought of(well at least i haven't seen anything quite like it before, but if it is in fact not an original idea i apologize to whichever drama came first)So in that department I've gotta give it some points. But again... I think it could've been done without the higher moral "Ohh everything is good and if you just work hard you can achieve your goals, And yadayadayada" thing in the end but still.

Acting: The acting was actually good. The characters were completely unbelievable, but the actors were good at bringing life into the role, and expressing feelings through them (and without becoming melodramatic as it is my impression that a lot of drama actors tend to become). But again, sometimes it was really hard to believe in the characters because they all-in-all were VERY unrealistic (in my opinion, but maybe that's just because i live in Scandinavia, and people certainly aren't like that were i come from.

Music: I don't really remember, which usually is a sign that it didn't leave a huge impression (or that i am beginning to loose my memory... either one would work)

Overall: So overall; I liked it. I didn't love it but i liked it. It was a good laugh, and it didn't try to take itself too seriously, and i like that in a comedy drama. So all-in-all, If you are looking for a lighthearted comedy drama with a few sprinkles of romance in it, i would say give it a watch. You might even catch your self smiling like a goofy idiot at the end (I know I did).

I found it quite funny and a good story some defenitly eye candys. The end was kind of real chessey for my liking and kind of over reacted they could've come up with something better it think but it wasn't so bad. The very end keeps you wondering like maybe there is more that they could've elaborated more into the ending as for everything else the beginning and middle was good and funnny. A fine story line and good actors I recommended for all who wish to laugh.

I'd like to preface this by saying that SayItAin'tSoJoe's stalker article was what made me watch this today! I am a total sucker for a reverse harem, so even though I am not a Jdrama fan by nature, I decided to give it a go. And let me say, it is a new experience to be able to start and finish a drama on the same day!

Now, can I just say, I am in LOVE with Mukai Osama! He is ridiuclously cute, and a pretty decent actor! He even has me considering checking out some more Jdramas just to watch him!

The storyline was a little bizarre, and the comedy a little too slapstick. One of the pitfalls of having such short episodes in time as well as the number of episodes, means that you lose a lot of character development, and this drama was a bit lacking in that area. Chisato was a cute character, and the actress who played her did a very good job portraying her. The rest of the reverse harem also was done fairly well, though I will say that Takeru was a little grating at times.

All in all, this was a pretty good drama, a great way to waste away my Sunday. If you are looking for something fun and silly, something to waste time on, this is your drama! The characters will have you rooting for them to succeed at every turn, and maybe wish you had a reverse harem of your own :p

I watched this drama when it first came out in 2009. It's filled with random stupidity, giggles, and questionable antics. I recently rewatched a few episodes due to nostalgia, and oh my god I love this drama. I recommend it if you would like watch a drama with a weird storyline filled with boys that have problems.
