A documentary narrated by Kirin Kiki, who introduces a 90-year-old, architect Shuichi Tsubata and his 87-year-old wife Hideko, who both live in Aichi perfecture. The couple's eclectic house was designed by Shuichi, is surrounded by an enormous garden featuring 70 types of vegetables and 50 types of fruits. The documentary focuses around the detailed care of their garden, and highlights the couples 65 year-old relationship, including Shuichi's accomplishments throughout his life as a young, star architect who was responsible for the entire “new town” residential area. All in all, this documentary is an endearing masterpiece about Shuichi Tusbata, his wife Hideko and their endearing relationship with this world. Director Fushihara's delicate, charming documentary won the Kinema Jumbo Best Film of The Year in the Cultural Section, and was part of the line-up at the Japanese Canadian Film Festival in Toronto 2018.
