ACTING/CAST: A fantastic cast all around and Golf is so good. Honestly, he became my most favorite character of this show because he's so over the top and hilariously funny.
MUSIC: I like the new theme song and this series did have some decent music sprinkled about.
REWATCH VALUE: Um, not sure. Maybe parts of it? Or maybe just the second half of the season? The first season is VERY rewatchable but not sure about this one.
OVERALL: Slow start but got better.

Diary of tootsies 2 tells the story of the gay friendship group that in other series would be disregarded, misrepresented and/or used as cheap comedy.The story:
- The story has no solid plot. It is centred around the lives of 4 friends as they experience love, heartbreak and other struggles.
- This show is absolutely hilarious but I like that you still get to feel for the characters as they struggle with decisions and lifestyle, from living with HIV, to falling for the closeted ‘straight’ guy.
The acting/cast:
- Gus acts as the main narrator of the story and this makes the friendship more realistic as it shows the closeness of these friends.
- The acting, at time could be a bit over the top and dramatic but honestly I done care because it just made it more enjoyable.
- Every one of the friends got a well developed storyline, additionally they are all completely different and unique from each other.
The Music:
- there’s nothing particularly unique about the soundtrack but the opening theme song is fun
Rewatch value:
- I’m definitely going to be rewatching it.
WARNINGS:
- To have a full understanding of everything that’s happening, I’d suggest watching the first one (it’s just as good), although you could probably figure out what happening if you watched as a stand-alone.
- Don’t drink anything whilst watching or else you may actually spit out your drink in laughter.
- It is chaos!!

Como a 1º temporada fez muito sucesso, a segunda não demorou a chegar. A receita utiliza basicamente os mesmos ingredientes, que são as vidas atrapalhadas dos quatro amigos, seus dramas, relacionamentos, a força da amizade deles, famílias, e tudo isso de forma muito bem humorada, tudo isso sendo narrado por Gus. Os atores nasceram para interpretar esses personagens, eles são muito bons, não apenas na atuação, mas também na comédia, eu tive muitas crises de riso. O personagem Golf, só de olhar para ele e suas expressões faciais eu já não conseguia parar de rir. É fantástico como o enredo traz 4 histórias distintas, consegue contar cada uma delas individualmente, ao mesmo temo em que elas se entrelaçam através da amizade.Apesar de ser contada em forma de comédia, é uma história mais real que as histórias BL, trata-se de uma série LGBT+, pois o romance entre garotos não é idealizado, ao contrário, são mostrados problemas e pessoas que podemos facilmente identificar na vida real, gays afeminadas, espalhafatosas e que se orgulham disso. Não são usadas como caricaturas ou estereótipos sob a sombra de uma ilusão BL.
Roteiro: Honestamente, os primeiros eps não me chamaram muito a atenção, eu assisti pq não quis dropar, mas mais ou menos na metade a série tomou um rumo bem melhor, e eu gostei muito das situações e do enredo que se seguiu. Pontos importantes foram inseridos, como o HIV e as formas de prevenção, pessoas mal resolvidas sexualmente, famílias que não aceitam seus filhos, ou que os acolhem por eles serem gays... o fato do namorado de Gus não o deixar em meio à doença é muito legal também, apesar de eu não gostar muito da performance do ator.
Sobre os aspectos técnicos, é tudo muito bem feito e eles cumprem o que prometem. A ost é melhor que a da primeira temporada, é bem coerente com a história. A fotografia é belíssima, a filmografia, continuidade, atuação, não há nada que deixe a desejar.
Com certeza vou rever essa série uma terceira vez, recomendo que assista a primeira temporada antes, para entender melhor a história, mas se vc gosta de dar boas gargalhadas essa série com certeza é pra vc!
