The Taste of Tea (2004)

It's from the same guy, pretty wierd too and it has also some of the same cast! ;)

Both this film and this drama have this serene and peaceful quality to it. Its quiet and therapeutic. Filled with the sounds and landscapes of nature.

- Taste of tea is set in rural Japan
- To the Wonder explores the most rural parts of North West China.

Both are slice of life stories with a smattering of fantastical elements. Their characters are basically ordinary people with some personal quirks.
