Let's start with my overall view:
To my eyes, as a mere kdrama fan, this drama was made with serious budget. The visual effects (CGI) were quite seamless and beautiful. I liked how smooth the switching takes between human-robot Nam Sin were, and I loved the action scenes! All-in-all, put this in your watch list if you haven't done so ^_^
Story:
Now, I'm a fan of sci-fi. I have seen the classic "AI" and "IRobot" and I loved them, so I would say that the story itself is not entirely original. However, I do find the screenwriting interesting - thumbs up for the screen writer - though I find many of the "decision" made by this cyborg can, in fact, only be made by human ^_^
Cast:
I love them! All main casts' acting was very good, I enjoyed seeing them portraying the characters. Kudos to Soe Kang Joon, as he successfully played two characters of opposite traits. At certain points, he managed to made me feel like punchin' the human Sin in the face *lol* That's how successful he was in playing the characters.
Music:
OSTs are beautiful and the scores fit the scenes well enough.
Rewatch value:
Well.. I never rewatch drama series.. ever.. so no comment on this one. hahaa..

My likes and dislikes in this drama

It's really a great drama... hats off to the writer for his imaginary level..
It's totally different from other fantasy dramas...

But the only thing I feel it's negative is the plot where a human and a robot developed a relationship...tough the robot is a positive character, it doesn't fix the reality for such kind of relationship. It makes the female lead look too naive .

It's also their relationship... that made this drama a fantasy one...Since it can't happen in reality.
Still I loved the story plots and this drama a lot....
This team has done a great work that made this drama outcome as a positive one.

Spirited Entertaining Robot Tale

In this spirited entertaining tale, the production deftly weaves the Kdrama’s narrative between “technology”, family values, greed and a seemingly believable love story between a human and a robot. The start seemed slow with the first episode, but excitement from Episode 2, builds more and more each episode till the end, I almost didn’t want it to end! Cutest, lovable, smiling face robot I have ever seen. The FL is not really likeable, her acting is a bit on the cheeky, irritating side, as she is type-casted, as well as the “anti-hero”, but great support cast, especially the 2nd ML, and the FL’s father and gym family. Pleasurable, over-all.

I have always wanted to watch this drama because of Seo Kang Joon and because of his facial and figure <3
For Gong Seung Yoon, I did not recognize her till ep30+ that she was the girl from 'My Only Long Song', that drama was good too. I'm sorry, :(
Anyways, this drama was epic and crazy. Each episode made me laugh hysterically and made me fall in love. This is my third show about a human and a robot, and in my opinion, this drama was very well done that is made really different from the other Non-human and Human show. Seo Kang Joon's acting was DAEBAK!!!, He really portraited his two-characters significantly and whenever he shows those smiles, it makes me go crazy over him!! Sometimes I want to see his arrogant bitchy face and when we do... I DIE!!! LIKE WTFF!!! WHY YOU DOING THIS TO ME!!
Every episode makes me want to punch my screen and touch Him!! HAHAHHA I'm a Physcho.
Overall, the plot of the story was astonishing. THE TWIST and turning points was out of my mind, there was at least more than 2 of those twist and THEY FREAKING KILLED IT!
The interaction between Nam-Shin and So-Bong was soo thrilling, they may be mad at each other but their chemistry was good, their fight tho.. I love it! <3
Sometimes whenever they do a switch-a-roo... it makes me kilig!!
For the ending... I just find it weird because it's so different from the other Robot-human dramas, but isn't that the point? but at the same time... I was hoping that they were going to be together... buT... I guess that's not the expectation... I still loved it tho, the ending made me cry non stop because of the "TEAR" ...if ykow u know.
Nonetheless, this was an exceptional drama filled with ROM-COM and thriller.
The antagonist really pissed me off, but that's what makes the actors good!!! And I'm proud of that.
This DRAMA REALLY MADE MY QUARANTINE AMAZING!! I may have finished it right away... but this will always be in my heart and my head(BARF).. ESpecially... you... SEO KANG JOON <3 <3<3<3
SARANGHAEYO!!
THAnk you, cast and director for this amazing drama.
I feel bad that I did not watch it a long time ago.. but I did... I may not have written a review.. so.. i am still grateful. <3<3<3

I keep saying I'm not into these AI/Robot shows but somehow I keep coming back into it. Lol.

The story starts off with a mother and son that are in unfortunate circumstances because of a selfish grandfather and they get separated and honestly the rest is history. The mom loves her son to death and just yearns endlessly on being reunited with him and honestly; he grows up to be a piece of shit lol (is this a spoiler? Lmk) he honestly is just your average spoiled chaebol and ugh. lol. Because she's a genius scientist, she does what any average mom that misses her long lost son would do and makes a robot duplicate of him and because of a freak accident, the robot comes into play and I really just sympathized with him. I know robots don't have emotions but I think anything or anyone can sense when someone doesn't care for you and your just an object and I thought that was honestly just really shitty. Then he meets someone that actually understands loneliness and even though your like "how can a robot and human FALL IN LOVE" I'm with ya but I really liked the two together tbh. More than anyone else, I mean I like the Hyung/assistant and all but like everyone else was kind of just assholes. Except for the FL family really; they were entertainment. lol

I just want to say I love Seo Kang Joon and I love Gong Seung Yeon so they're basically the main reason I watched this whole show and I was not disappointed at all. He played such a great robot, when he showed emotion, didn't show emotion, how affectionate he was but it wasn't over the top. And she was annoying right off the bat lol she was almost TOO annoying but she redeemed herself well when she started to sympathize and be more understanding. I liked that. I liked Lee Joon Hyuk, because he really kept me on my toes, I didn't know if he was good or bad hahahah other than that, hate everyone else. Idiots.

The music as actually nice, what a good OST tbh.

I probably wouldn't rewatch it but I don't regret watching it at all. It made me emotional in the aspect of just feeling lonely and not understood, being the side burner but still trying your best. Overall, just an all around good AI show tbh.

I cannot get over how unsatisfying the ending was!!!
I wish the epilogue was way longer - especially since some scene with the mean character were just frustrating and unecessary.

However, I LOVED that drama, it had me smiling, crying, bawling my eyes out and laughing really hard.
I absolutely adored Nam Shin III and So Bong, never felt annoyed or angry at them nor their romance.
All the actors were fantastic and this show is definitely worth watching!

The music was not God awful but could have been improved 100% - but that doesn't affect the drama to much.

Are You Human Too?
the story shows its take on "humans" and "humans emotions".. what really makes a person human? and how does that affect the people and the world around them.
not only a funny and enjoyable but a very touching drama with a very sweet lovable characters and some great deep morals in there too!

1) CGI and scenery:
ok let me write first about the major thing that I was blown away with, watching this from the first scene I really was AMAZED of how good the scenery and CGI effects are!
hands down best CGI in drama I've ever seen, this drama has a lot of editing and photo manipulating as you expect from its title and genre, but coming to this I really was worried because alot of asian production quality in these "fantasies" really ruins it for me bc it always look fake and somewhat cringy.. HOWEVER this one dear god it's so well done and convincing its really shows that they put money and effort creating this.
not only that but directing and the scenery this drama shows is so breathtakingly beautiful.
if I'm going into details on this:
-they dealt with adding technical particles really well.
-the fact that a lot of scenes has the same actor in two roles, and making it like a legit scene without it looking cheesy and cheap.
-they cared about details enough to edit the actors faces in the "throwback" scenes from the past making them look younger.

2) Story:
you know I'm kind of sick of the repetitive and cliche stories some K-dramas has, and boi o boi is this story fuc*king great! it's really refreshing to watch some drama that talks about such different concept like this one.. robots and technology? fu*k yes! and I even liked the fact that it plays it during the current time instead of being typical and make it in future settings.
I also liked about this drama their take on "humans" and "humans emotions".. it really makes you rethink some stuff and how you look into people and see them differently, I also liked that in the story they didn't go overboard with technology so the story is very actually convincing and realistic it makes you think that it actually might be happening somewhere in the world.

3) Cast and Characters:
they did a very good job choosing the cast, starting with the mother oh god I can't explain how much I love their acting. I found myself losing my mind laughing on a scene and sobbing so hard the next one lol..
with Kim won Hae (kang so bong's dad) I really can't ask for more, he's my favorite ahjusshi his acting is so good. and all of the main leads I found myself falling in love with each one of them.
god even the bad guys I really hated their guts even when some of them were my favorite actors before, but each one of them really knows how deliver the right emotions to you the viewer.
-the female lead is strong and bad-ass she knows what she wants and she will protect it with her life not your typical whiny girl who gets protected. the male lead is the sweetest most amazing human being (see what I did there).. doing whatever it takes to protect the ones they love :')

4) Leads are so fuc*ing handsome OK!:
man I really need to brace myself from writing on this point forever lol, but seriously it wasn't hard for me to believe he was a robot since he looked this perfect. I found myself wondering "wait... what if he really is a real life robot!"..
it was my first drama to Nam shin (the lead) but damn his acting and facial expression is very real and sweet! I really could actually NOTICE when he was playing the other character just from his acting alone.. it's crazy!

5) Music and OST:
ok this drama joins my favorite drama ost list, it has a really neat and beautiful songs that will make your eyes fall out from crying too much.

6) Who Should watch This Drama:
if you like stories that aren't typical, or if you're sick of repetitive stories you will really like this one.
it has alot of funny and joyful moments that will make you laugh, you will love all of the beautiful scenery and the well made production!
you will find alot of nerve wracking moments too, also can't forget the sweet and adorable romantic moments that you'll see the characters go through~
and there are couple of plot twists that will make it exciting and aren't really expected. so it's nice to stick there and just watch how the character and events develop all along tell the end.

Definitely recommend watching it even for those who aren't into K-dramas ^^

This drama was a great drama! It had an interesting plot which I never expected from normal Korean dramas. This drama is based on a woman who lost his son in 1997 and remade him as an android robot, which looks exactly like her lost son. But in the 21st century, the original son called Sin, got in a car crash in Czech Republic, the android robot that looks exactly like Sin has to replace the real one. The story gets more and more interesting as you keep watching it. I recommend it to people who are 15 years old.

I love my tin can couple. Nam Shin III has my whole heart
Who knew a robot could have better character development than most kdrama male leads?

Honestly I think this show is amazing in the message it sends. A robot has no greed or thirst for money/power. It’s humans which are the terrible ones. (now to clarify, the show isn't trying to send the message robots are better than humans, its message is for humans to be the best version of themselves)
For e.g. human Nam Shin, he’s all ‘how dare you say a robot is bEttER tHaN Me!!1!!1!!!’ when literally all you have to do is not be an asshole.

Anyway, I can safely say this was a drama I thoroughly enjoyed. The story is so good (ignoring the plot holes), has great acting (someone give Seo Kang Joon an oscar) and a good soundtrack.

Going into it I wasn't sure how I felt about a human x robot relationship but after watching it - I stan. Not saying I'm ready for human-like robots to be put into production to the world, but it's Seo Kang Joon's portrayal of this robot in particular that made me catch feelings. Like he is just so charming, honest, caring and it's his smile - his pure happy smile
(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

The only reason it isn't a 10 is because the plot towards the end was just getting so insufferable. Why is an intelligent robot making such dumb decisions and behaving so naive?? Or our protagonists just leave mega important things lying around. It's bizarre, the villains are stupid but luckily for them - the heroes are even stupider.

But complaints aside, I would definitely recommend this drama.

I don't even know where to begin... This drama was stunning from start to finish, It's the kind of drama where you don't ever want it to end.

Seo Kang Joon's acting was absolutely phenomenal. He played both parts so well that it actually felt like two different people. His entire body language changed between both characters. I was also very impressed with Park Hwan Hee who I've never seen before. I hope she gets a leading role soon because she really deserves it.

Although the storyline is nothing new, this drama really made it fresh. There were also quite a few twists that I did not see coming.

The music was good, but could have been better in my opinion. There was nothing really memorable about any of the songs, but I guess that's also a good thing because they didn't stand out too much and take away from the story.

Rewatch value 10/10 for sure. I would watch it again right now... If my plan to watch list wasn't so long.

Are You Human Too? is a sci-fi rom com. It reminded me a little bit of I'm Not a Robot but it's sort of the reverse. What I thought was great about this was Seo Kang Joon - his acting playing the cold human and the sweet robot in the same show was just great because this role really gave him the opportunity to show a wide range of acting skills and emotions all in one show. You will just fall in love with his robot side in this show, and what is funny of course is the robot is more human than the human. Throughout watching this I couldn't wait to see it on the nights it was out as I was watching it while it aired each episode here. I loved the way his character developed and was able to get emotions and love. At times he reminded me of Data from Star Trek. I also loved the female character Gong Seong Yeon how she loved the robot for who he was so it was not just the outer shell which both guys had the same but their real inner selves. The chemistry between the leads was great. I really loved this show and not just for the romance but I really thought the whole drama and plot were done well and it always kept me wanting to see it. I don't want to give any spoilers but I highly recommend this. A truly great show.
