Hospital Ship (2017)

Though at first these two dramas don't seem the same, when you look deeper there's a lot that make them similar from the tone of the show to the cute romances but especially with how both dramas are about emergency medicine being done with few resources and under a lot of extreme circumstances. There's even a little political maneuvering that happens in both.

Though D-Day focused on disaster that happened to Seoul, the operation and how doctors treat patients are similar.

Similar premise, centre around trauma patients in difficult situations. Also features a struggle to maintain the clinic/hospital ship afloat due to financial pressures.

Both are medical dramas and both of their leads are so talented and ambitious surgeons but they are also cold-hearted.

Involves medical doctors traveling to islands in order to treat their patients. The lead protagonists in both dramas are doctors who come with a past.

they have great surgical doctor who use unusual methods of surgery.
both MC have strong female doctor who doesn't care what people think of them. sometime seems emtionless or cold. but they take their job seriously.
both drama have enjoyable characters around them.
And both are great medical drama so you should watch them both.

They both deal with a profession that's unique in a way (one being on a ship another in a railway station)
Both male leads have a similar story.
It's been a while since I've seen hospital ship so I dont wanna say anymore comparisons incase I'm wrong but catch the ghost is certainly worth the watch if you liked the ML in hospital ship

Both are medical drama, same kind of vibe where the main leads have family situations related to hospitals. In both dramas, one of the main leads have to leave a position in a big hospital in Seoul and move to a small one, with less technology and resources: in Teacher Kim, a countyside hospital and in this drama is a hospital ship.

This medical drama is amazing!!!!

The history is different and perfect.

Both dramas involve doctors treating the patients on the sea whereas one is in the korean style and the other in the japanese style.

- Doctors in MTT are in the hospital whereas in HS they are on a ship and sail various island/places to save patients

Similar in a way that they are both in a "hospital" setting, but the other is in a ship, the other in a real hospital.

Similar in a way that, the leading doctors are tsundere to their soon to be partners and then being lovey dovey after they see that the other has something good to offer...

Difference is, the couple in Hospital Ship are both doctors, but on the other drama, it is between a doctor and a nurse.

But you will get the similar feels and the pressures of working in a medical setting, same excitement, etc.
