if I am being honest this is the Chinese version of the Korean show and the Korean version of the Chinese show (just saying)

This is the Chinese adaptation of the same storyline. I really love this version. Others might argue with me about the merits and downfalls of this version verses others, but isn’t that the beauty of opinions?

both takes place in schools rich male leads and poor female leads, forbidden love to some extent

They both have the main male love interest that in the beginning is cold and keeps "hurting" the girl and then he ends confessing his love for her first. We also have the girls that tries to "hurt" the girl too. Also there is the guy best friend that likes the main girl too. Also the main lead keeps saving the girl. The difference between those two is that in Master Devil Do Not Kiss Me the girl lives in the same house as the boy.

meteor garden 2018 is the remake of the 2001 version, which are both based off shoujo manga hana yori dango

First of all they're both remakes and hana yori dango is one of the best remakes of meteor garden. Not only that but Hana Yori Dango is also very long and fun to watch. Though the storyline for Hana Yori Dango is way better.

-Mothers who don't want their sons to get married to poor girls but in the end they fail to do this
-Four cute guys who happened to be best friends since they were young and are still together till college or high school
-And lastly a great love story between the two main leads

The 3 main leads have very similar dynamics, where the FL likes the 2nd ML initially as he helps her often whereas the ML teases her and expresses his love for her rather unconventionally but sincerely loves her...Meteor Garden is completely set in the university while ARRTI spans from high school to university

lead guy came from a rich family. boy's family doesnt like the girl.
girl is hard working yet poor.

If you like (Fall In Love At First Kiss), then you may also like (Mateor Garden). It is the
same feeling.

It is similar because the male leads in both dramas are relatable. The whole concept of romance, slight comedy, business.... Is a cliche.

Both are a FL who becomes close to a group of four guys. Both feature a triangle in the romance storyline.

I found it quite similar..
* 6 friends go for picnic, the main actress gets lost in a forest like shan cai and Ah si goes to look for her similarly the main actor goes to look for her ..
*The movie ends with them watching meteor shower.
*There are rivals too like Ah si & Lei :D
*Theres a girl who loves the the main actor like He Yuan Zi from MG :D
