At one point in Pula, Mueang Jai was sent by villagers to the town to find guns as weapons to resist the Burmese attack. Without guns, they would be helpless when the next attack started. Mueang Jai fell asleep in a temple, and after a wind, he woke up on a sunny morning two hundred years later. When two time dimensions, two hundred years apart, crossed paths, fate brought together two young men from two different centuries to become sworn friends. Siroj was a wealthy student who had been studying overseas and had recently returned to take care of his family’s business. He was organizing a light and sound show in Ayutthaya with his friend Latika when they met Mueang Jai, one of the heroes from the Bang Rachan era, who had traversed the time dimension. Latika felt an instant connection with Mueang Jai whilst Siroj had to keep the truth about Bang Rachan a secret. If they could bring artillery from the city back, Mueang Jai's people could be saved. Siroj then took him to the Royal Field Plaza in Bangkok, where replicas of ancient cannons were displayed. During a storm, a time door pulled Siroj and Mueang Jai back to Bang Rachan Camp. Latika had to find a way to return Siroj to his own dimension. At the Bang Rachan Camp, Siroj met Jankaphor and felt instant attraction which soon blossomed into love. Meanwhile, Mueang Jai found he could not honestly accept the love offered by Kalong, Jankaphor's best friend who looks exactly like Latika, as he only has Jankaphor in his heart.
