It was so frustrating watching qi heng being so righteous while in fact he was being used and he defended the wrong thing. Now the Emperor got to realise what scheme the E.D did. Yet another villainous female

What I like about this episode is Gu Tingye coming out and saying (again) what he really wants from Ming Lan – sincerity and genuineness – after beating around the bush for so many episodes. But with the accusation that the episode ends on, with so many female "villains" in this show and casting doubt on accounts of sexual assault, it's really making me wonder whether this show's perspective is misogynistic or actually trying to uplift females. I guess the courtesan who chats with GTY seems pretty chill.
