Chinese actor Zhang Ling He calls out sasaeng fans for their irrational behavior.

On January 18, Zhang Ling He uploaded a post on his social media addressing sasaeng fans (obsessive fans), urging them to stop disrupting the peace of his life.

Zhang Ling He wrote in his post: "Some people should stop following my car, tracking my flights, and lurking under my apartment building to photograph me during my commute. This has seriously disrupted my normal life."

In the comments section, he continued to write:
"I didn't speak up before, but that doesn't mean I condone [this behavior]. Please don't take things even further."

"Stop sending texts and making calls to my friends and me. Stop endlessly prying into my private life."

"One should have boundaries in both behavior and actions. It's one thing to have fans show up at hotels occasionally during work trips, but for my residence, where I live long-term, this intrusion on a daily basis is a severe violation [of my privacy]. Please know when to stop. Don't take [my] kindness for granted."

Zhang Ling He's studio also forwarded the post and stated:
"For extreme behaviors that disrupt Mr. Zhang Ling He's normal life and work, such as blocking his residence, following him, and taking photos, the company has already reported [the incidents] to the police and sought their help.

We reiterate: we strongly condemn [this kind of] bad behavior such as crowding around [and blocking places on] non-public schedules, secretly photographing, following and filming, stalking, tailing or chasing vehicles [our artist uses] under any circumstances!"

Sasaeng fans are the type fans, particularly in Asian celebrity fandoms, who engage in extreme obsessive, invasive, and often harmful behaviors toward their favorite celebrities. Such behavior includes stalking; illegally obtaining celebrities' personal information like phone numbers, addresses, or flight details; crowding places where they go, etc.

Sasaeng behavior often causes severe emotional distress, anxiety, and even safety risks for celebrities. Many actors and idols have spoken publicly about their struggles with sasaeng fans, calling for boundaries and respect.

Zhang Ling He, born on December 30, 1997, is a Chinese actor. He entered the acting industry in 2019 and has appeared in various films and dramas, including Story of Kunning Palace and The Princess Royal.
