would have made a good web drama

I'll echo everybody else by saying, this was an interesting premise. but its not enough of a concept to warrant an entire drama. think "Dear My Name", a web drama about ppl whose true love is written in them. it's a similar concept, but I think "Dear My Name" works better bc it doesn't try to be more than what it is.

About Time tries to do everything. the musical storyline was uninteresting. Dongjun's character was fully unnecessary. I aggressively did not care about the friend/brother's romance. basically anything that wasn't the main romance would have been cut for me.

but even the main romance: why do the ML/FL change on a dime? FL is very comfortable going after what she wants, and when ML agrees, she immediately acts like she doesn't want it. there's no explanation; the audience is just left to guess at her reasons (which may be reasonable, but are left unsaid).

like I said, interesting idea. but maybe if they had ONLY done that idea, instead of all of it, it could have worked.

The concept of 'seeing life clocks' was interesting and that's what made me watch this drama.

Story : In the beginning the story was good leading on to something but didn't. Even if the Choi Mikaela could see the time how they survived was a mystery I couldn't grasp. The love triangle made me want to drop it all along.
Acting: Leads role were good. Choi Mikaela and Lee Do Ha both did well and their chemistry got good after a while.
Park Woo Jin ( Secretary) did an amazing job bantering with Lee Do Ha all the time. Han Seung Yeon and Choi Wi Jin had very cute roles and I loved them! Although the mother was irritating to watch. The director, old lady, Lee Do Ha's brothers all there for no reason.
Music: There were so many songs in the drama and only few were good.
Overall: It was pretty average if you count everything in.

A Drama Worth The Watch

This drama took me by surprise. It was not my intention to watch the entire show. Was suppose to be a simple quick check as I was looking to see Lee Sang Yoon's work. However, on first episode, I was already captivated. The story and the love story within was really VERY GOOD.

A woman, Choi Mikaela (Lee Sung Kyung), is someone who can see everyone's time of death reveal to her, as an imprint on their bodies and unfortunately, she can even see her own. With 100 plus days to live, she accidentally realizes that her time clock stops, when she is in close proximity to a gentleman named Lee Do Ha (Lee Sang Yoon). Eventually, not only will her time clock stop, but as she consistently is with him and happy, her life span 'extends' favorably. Their chemistry together from hate to love. From discomfort to deep commitment was a tremendously strong performance and one could not help but keep rooting for the FL every time she gains more time.

Obviously, the show went up another notch as we see everyone's life revolving around this couple also had their very own story to tell, The relationships that can be so precious, especially when you know when that person will die. Have we done enough for them, did we tell them what we wanted to say, everything seems so much more urgent, with little time left. The stories as it was told and played out by a very strong cast was touching and did bring out much emotion and self-realization of relationships around me. Furthermore, it helped to also have the "bad ass" fiance, Sung Hee (Han Seong Yeon) who fought tooth and nail to keep Do Ha from Choi Mikeala. Sung Hee kept the frustration, and she definitely kept my attention throughout....nothing better than a really good, bad lady. But, yes, Do Ha only loves Mikaela.

The only "glitch" for me, which I think perhaps also affected some viewers, was at the point when Mikaela realized that when her time lengthens, Do Ha's own life span 'decreases'. Realizing that this transfer of life will eventually cause early death to Do Ha. I would have much preferred that she talked about it with Do Ha, but as the drama would have it, she keeps running away from him without explanation. These few episodes did get on my nerves. But , Do Ha's love, perseverance and commitment to her was perfection and truly warmed my heart.

The message about love in this drama was well written in relation to time. Not a moment to be wasted. This drama is highly recommended. It is not a perfect drama but truly WORTH THE WATCH.

Cheers! K-drama Forever!!

A very good prologue yet a messed up book

I really liked the ideas that was put in this drama. It may be not too unique for the most parts but by still trying to appreciate it until the last parts luckily made me liked the twists it has. But my ghad, the flow was so cringy. I can even think of how it should be sequenced. I mean the acting was there but the directing perhaps ? It made the drama a bit cheap for me. I love both of the main actors so I'm just gonna blame it to the screenwriters and the directing team. I know and I can sense the love that the characters was building but again it made me cringe by how it wasn't shown properly, if I was reading this i must have tears oftenly flowing from my face. It lacked in many ways. Based on my score, it was just saved by my affection to the main actors/actresses and how much potential the story has.

Drama is very average. The first episodes were intriguing and well filmed, e.g. scenes under the water, with good pace, but now it seems to be a cheap, slow romance.
Characters: The most interesting and mysterious character is the traveler brother played by Jung Moon Sung. I would like to follow his history and maybe love, but he hardly appears on the screen. The Mother - well played with the animus. The fiancee - yes, well played. The friend and the director - there is nothing to watch. Do Ha - I wonder what his character does and what he wants? It`s boring to watch him as amorous chebol. Mika - Lee Sung Kyung mainly plays with her eyes and lips and she MUST sing all the time. Nothing special. The main theme of time and clocks seems to be not important any more. I liked this drama because of pinch of fantasy, but now I`m disappointed. The storyline has lost its freshness. Still I will watch to the end to see the solution of time problem.
The music is good enough.
It`s good drama for everyone who wants light and little boring romance. And you do not have to stop the episode to go and make a cup of coffee in the kitchen.

Is it 2018 or 1988??

Gosh this drama is cringey....from the elevator stock music soundtrack, to the overly soap opera story, to the horrifically tacky cinematography. Like...whenever there's a "time" effect they do this super ugly double vision sort of screen flash. Even the normal scenes have terrifying cinematography with weirdly timed freeze frames...it's so hard to watch, like a cheesy soap opera from the 1980s. The lead actor...idk who was responsible for his wardrobe but why couldn't they have at least ironed his clothes. The poor dude is always dressed in wrinkled tacky rags. The soundtrack is so so bad...the instrumental music is distractingly bad.

The storyline is super dated feeling too...like it's 2018 so why have they incorporated so many rapey AF lines from the male lead and even set the female lead's brother up in a situation where he might have screwed the lead's best friend while she was passed out drunk. It's like the plot of a bad porn or greasy romance novel. The screenwriter has only this as a credit on their profile, the director isn't known for producing hits really...so I guess all of that comes through in this drama. I feel bad giving the actors a bad rating here because it doesn't seem like they actually had a chance to make anything good out of this ultimately trash drama. The ending of the story has so many plot holes you might as well use it to strain your pasta.

Don't bother watching this unless you're bed ridden and have watched pretty much every other drama....twice.

I liked this drama because it's straight forward, I mean like it doesn't have any unnecessary scenes in the beginning like other dramas do. As per the story, it's great it does have a unique plot, although it's a little bit similar to MASTER'S SUN. This seems to be like Black which are same that can fortell a persons' death but do have difference in seeking death time. The acting is so-so. Lee Sung kyung nailed it! And so her partner do. I'm telling you this, Lee Sung Kyung is incredibly a goddess! The time thingy made me think that it's going to have a 'tragedy' tag. But so far, I recommend it.

Gobsmacked at the premise

This is a sweet story about a woman who sexually assaults, stalks, and lies (e.g. about thinking she might have been raped while blackout drunk) in order to get a man's attention. I know that Kdrama isn't known for its sensitivity about these sorts of things but come on . . .

P.S. It's also executed really badly, with a boggle-eyed, pouting staring 'heroine' and constant elevator music.
P.P.S. Master's Sun had a similar plot device but (a) she was honest from the start about why she needed to touch him (b) they had a mutual interest in her doing so and (c) there was no forced kiss/sexual harassment or rape lies.
