Mad Dog (2017)

Intense, one has some comedy the other one serious

Both movies involved a strong female lead that is a detective.
Two man one woman main leads.
Both are crime detective, investigation, action movies.
One has romance and more serious, the other one not

pretty much the same concept except in Mad Dog the main cases they are after is fraud, same set up and tone though, it has its cool moments, the fun team dynamics and nice action from time to time

Both dramas revolve around a group of friends who are using all methods possible in order to battle corruption.

Similar vibe…not too dark and keep you at the edge of your seat. Both show have 2 MLs that at first seem to be against each other then they later develop their bond and team up together

While the story and theme differs, the have some similarities:
- Thriller Genre with a mystery
- suspenseful storyline
- smart male lead
- building a "team" and working together
- great cast, especially the lead actors

I discovered both dramas at the same time and like them a lot.

Both dramas are about insurance fruad and con artists.
While Mad Dog gives the characters good morals and makes them "heroes"/"robin hood" characters, Private Lives gives the character more shady morals. They're more of "antiheroes" than actual good people.
Mad Dog is an exciting drama with action scenes while Private Lives is a drama where everything slowly ties together and poeple fall into traps that have been ever so carefully laid for them.
The chemistry in both is very strong.

- Insurance investigations, foul play cases, murder/cold cases to solve
- Fight against corrupt/powerful people who want to cover up their crimes at any cost
- Twist & turns of truths
- Action , Thriller pack scenes

- An ensemble cast who fight against political corruption

Similar story. They are both about a team fighting to solve a past that was covered up. Both interesting in their own way, I couldn't help thinking about the other when I started watching.

Bad guy who is actually nice... both are action and main chars want to revenge... both are romantic but not much.

The thriller aspect and the main leads' dynamics are similar in both dramas. Even though both dramas have complete different plots, if you liked one you'll like the other for sure. Both stories revolve around the male protagonist who is trying to take "revenge" and in the process, meets people that help him.

So far, Vincenzo has more romantic moments between the leads whereas Mad Dog didn't have a explicit romantic line but the sexual chemistry between the leads were to DIE FOR.

P.S Mad dog is truly a fantastic drama I suggest everyone to try. It's an all-time underrated gem

Both have hot scam artists and not exactly kosher main leads XD both are bromance central and full of eye candy

Penned by the same writer. The character interactions and growth are phenomenal in both. However, where one follows the same case and mysteries (Beyond Evil), the other is more case-based but done well with detailed explanations. Anyone who loves Beyond Evil for the characters, will love Mad Dog for the same growth arcs.

Switch is a very intriguing drama, that will always have you on the edge of your seat
The suspense of this drama was also the best
It’s also a drama that involves and revolves around team work like mad dog
Mad dog is a drama you will want to rewatch again and again the same goes for Switch too
The FL and ML also had an irresistible chemistry
Mad dog is a drama you get easily attached to and so is Switch
