The drama started off decently. I had a major case of 2nd Male Lead Syndrome after the first few episodes though.
At first it was a really decent storyline with some complicated and interesting characters.
I was really enjoying it & the romance was cute.
Then... things went a bit south.
This show should have ended in 12 episodes TOPS.
The guy who was in debt to the mafia went WAY over board.
The last 6 episodes were filled with stuff that didn't matter and side plots that weighed down the story majorly.
THEN we see the BFF get not only forgiven immediately, but, also get to live VERY well, and even better than the FML who had been through so much. I mean, she at least got to LIVE and have a HEA, right? -_-
And then the ending. Him dying. Not a shocker.
BUUUUT her getting randomly crushed by a rockslide to "reunite" with him????
NOPE. That was out of place and over the top.
Not to mention... wouldn't she be reunited with her original true love and not the guy who happen to have his heart?
MEH.

I think writer should show their marriage as he dream of having boy and a girl child then why not he end drama with this concept then it should be complete happy ending.
Song is good .I like Shao Tian acting the most .He bring all the emotions very nicely .All I can say it is one time watch.

You will watch some unrealistic storyline & cringy cheesy scenes .. which actually for me made the drama fun to watch !
After about 12 Episodes it became draggy like they could have finished earlier .
I liked the Male Lead Character even if he made me cringe but still he's so cute with his Jealousy xD
At 1st I was not fond with Female Lead Character , she is too kind & forgive too easily like if someone betrayed me like they did to her I will never forgive them and even if I did I will not treat them the same as before ~ but as I kept watching the drama I loved her interaction with the MC & others so I kinda ignored what happened in the earlier episodes .
*** am not sure if its just me but the leads looks like ( Andy : Zac Efron / Wei Mandy : BTS JHope ) :o
I also liked the little BROMANCE between Xing Shao Tian & Duan Ruo Fan that was cute ^^
The things that got me annoyed was new characters suddenly appeared for 1 to 2 episodes , I didn't feel they were needed in the story :/
and the families member appeared in one episode then disappear in few episodes on & off ...
The final episode was sooo ....................... I don't know what to say but it got me frustrated !!!!!
I do not feel that the drama was that bad , I loved the main couple they were sweet & I enjoyed watching them ~ but I'll not rewatch this !
So overall I gave the 7.0 ! and maybe some of the viewers will give a lower rating :s

So many questions.
I dropped because I can't handle seeing how the bestfriend got forgiven that easily. Really??? She ruined everyone's lolives by being a coward and she gets to be forgiven just like that? Everyone almost died and she just gets a smack on the wrist for putting everyone through that. I know it was all the boyfriend's planning but she went through it. She was a coward and let everything happen until someone actually lost a life. Also toooooo many coincidences. Like wow everyone's fate was tangled to that extreme?
Also @the writer. That ending was bullshit.
Gave the overall 5 stars because i like the 2 main leads. And the brother story. Also love the side characters but aside from that I hate everything.

That's time I'm never getting back!
I almost have no words. The acting in this was often over-the-top and the characters were more like caricatures of actual people. I really don't like shows that are considered melodramas, and this one falls into that category. The female lead was too good to be true - even after all of the evil stuff that the "friend" did, she forgave her as if nothing had ever happened. I'm all for forgiveness, but there should have been some consequences. And the ending? I wanted to yell at the tv! It was the worst! It was trying for ambiguous, but the ending was obvious to anyone paying attention, which made me even more irritated about all the time I spent watching this thing. Was this review helpful to you?

To begin with, this drama has an ordinary storyline. At first, such commonly used story would be okay but in fact, it doesn't turn well. There are too many plot holes in this drama. The drama has a mediocore and flat storyline as well as poor in its delivery. To be honest, this drama has such inconsistent and include unnecessary details, leaving such a bad aftertaste to me because there are too many things being fastforward thus some important moments are not delivered and not emphasized well. Moreover, this drama is draggy and clingy. The acting of each casts are good enough. It is a shame that such potential casts can't unleash their potential because of the script. Indeed, there are several casts which act too much but it is still acceptable. The music doesn't please my ears but i think it's okay.
And my biggest issue is the ending. To me, the ending is a conclusion of the drama. Even some dramas are good enough as a whole, but the ending could ruin the drama itself. This drama has a questionable ending since it doesn't really emphasized what's happening in the end. But, the ending of this drama might be both sad and happy ending. Referring to the last scene, the girl might die (sad ending) but she meet the man whom already dead earlier (happy ending).
Personally, i don't really recommend you to watch it. But it's just okay if you want to watch it

So beautifully written. Watched it for 3x. And time to time glimpse to some memorable scene.
I usually watched fluffy and heartwarming drama mostly korean. When i got it as a recommendation in netflix i got curious. The story was good and a lot of twist. The ML and FL acts naturally. I loved their interaction.
I never thought i was a sad ending. Sad is basically a no no for me. I don't want to cry anymore. So much for stressful life now a days so what I want is a happy one. But i was hooked. I finished it in almost one day only. Maybe sad but not tragic because they have a good memory. Good memories gives us a will to continue life, saying it because i experience losing a love one and want to spend more time but no more.
The supporting cast was good also. They made amends and support the two lead until the end. That's family of course.
I highly recommended this series. Hope you enjoy watching this as i do.

awful (spoilers ahead)
this drama had a terrible beginning, an okay middle, and a terrible ending. it’s definitely like 6 or 7 episodes too long. it should’ve ended when the loan sharks went to prison and xiaofei died. i also gradually started getting annoyed at how high stakes the pastry thing was. like who cares? the acting was really bad all around and i hated the ML even to the end. he kept whining about how he didn’t want to hurt jia’en by telling her he was dying, but he hurt her even more in the long run when he kept going behind her back. the only characters i even remotely liked were napoleon, brownie, and ou feixiang. the plot was a mess and the pacing was a mess. why did ye zi just disappear after being reunited with brownie? why didn’t brownie and ou feixiang’s romance not have any screentime? i would much rather have watched them get together than ruofan and aili. what happened with napoleon and his girlfriend? the gangsters who beat up ruofan—why were they suddenly not a threat anymore? what happened with aili’s dad? why wasn’t aili more traumatized from xiaofei literally dying right in front of her? why would jia’en forgive aili so easily? why would aili forgive her dad so easily? why was jia’en’s dad never mentioned after their reunion? why didn’t jia’en and shaotian just get married right when they knew he was going to die? the bedroom scene—how could shaotian not know that jia’en just wanted to have sex? lol. just such a disaster all around, and i’m so glad it’s over. truly one of the most infuriating things i’ve ever seen. Was this review helpful to you?
