First at all I was frigthing because all the people I read were like: this is not good.

And I thank you God for not obeyed these terribles reviews because I found one of my favorites BL of all.

The couple Oat and Pop are just amazing! I can feel the scary Pop because he can not understand why he feels like in a romantic bubble when he was with Oat and how Oat understand it and want to protect the other. This couple was amazing! And fuck all the people that think that they are boring and stupid. I found them so different to the others series because we can see developing of their characters. Pop can not feel in love so easy like in the others BL because in real life you have to meet very well your future husband and in the other side Oat finally has an another important person to protect before his mother died.

The second couple Rambo and Pree: I found Rambo a bit annoying because he said that he loves Pree while he was having sex with the other weird guy when Pree wanted to settle the issues and I just felt like: what´s wrong with you dude? and Pree... I just love Pree because he found that Rambo never loves him (or yes but I never understand well the behavior of Rambo) that he loved him and then he watched that his crush has problems and he is the only who can help him to achieve his dreams.

The two couples make me feel like I was falling in love and seriously without jokes I made 20 minutes audios talking about each couple. Rambo needs to develop and understand that he has to do the things well to go back to Pree, Pree needs to understand that even though he is so beautiful with Pop as a couple, Pop already has a husband so please... give up! Pop has to understand that he really loves Oat before him give up and Oat has to understand that seriously he has a really funny jealous moments!

This series deserves a new season. If they do not this, they will lost a good gem to shine again.

Nothing Really Happens

It was cute for a moment, but only a moment. The entire series felt padded and fluffed out for no real good reason. Every scene with the side couple was of just them crying over the same thing again and again. And even Pop and Oat not really developing their relationship past Pop realizing he MIGHT have feelings for Oat was so infuriating. Overall it felt as if all of the storylines could have been solved/finished well within the 20 episodes given. Instead, to see said plotlines conclude we have to watch the sequel series Final Call. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the dramatic elements of the show while I was watching but ended up totally skipping through the side couples plot and wanting Pop and Oat's to rush along already. I most definitely won't be rewatching this again, or the second season/series for that matter. So unless you're REALLY in the mood for a goofy/light-hearted toned BL series, I'd skip. Seeing as there's way more BL that do far greater and better with far less time than this series.

Story: The story is a basic GMMTV story. One dude is either gay or confused the other has a girlfriend and is confused. They rarely stray from the genre and make it special. It's pretty entertaining and has a lot of cute parts in it, but it becomes forced and seems like they had to cram things into the episodes.

Acting/Cast: The only time i didn't like the acting was when pop was on screen. His character felt basic and his acting wasn't convincing enough at parts. Also pop's girlfriend isn't the best actor either. I've seen her other works and they're all flat.

Music: The songs are so good for this series. They are catchy and work very well with the mood. It's played at good times as well so no awkward silences or songs being played too early.

Re-watch Value: I would re-watch this only to write a more descriptive review other than that there are better series to watch and the whole series isn't worth the hour long episodes to watch again.

Overall you can watch this series because its not entirely bad, but don't prioritize it unless you have faith in the second season.

MAN, I started this series very skeptical and as many people have already said here, I love it but there a parts that are just a big NO NO FOR ME. I'll start with the couples:

Pop and Oat: Dude, I LOVE THIS GUYS. I mean their friendship started kinda weird and Oat was so annoying and Pop and his irrational fear of sun (was that even necessary? come on). But they grew on me so fast. Maybe they are not the best actors but they had seriously GOOD moments together and Oat was freaking charming as well. I really root for them.. and when Oat really understood that he was harrasing Pop... that pained me a lot. And at the end we had a cute scene CUTE STENE but that was it.... Pop didn't even told Oat he would be a flight attendant... *sighs*

Pop/Mo/Pree: GURL! Poor Mo! I was really frustrated with her story, the actress is really good so I don't know why they had to make her suffer that much for that long ... that prolongation of her problems with Pop was so unnecesary. And yep. P'PREE IS NOT OKAY TO BE AFTER YOUR SISTER'S BOYFRIEND. It doesn't matter if he was your first love you were with another person with a freaking ring and you can even stay away.. NOPE.

PreeBo: this was frustated me the most becausse I LOVE THE ACTORS. I got tired of Rambo's crying (the actor is good but he always make the same face, sorry) and Pree is the cutest thing ever but they just DIDN'T TALK ABOUT their problems and even Rambo behaved so bad Pree wasn't trying to fight for their relationship either... I was SO MAD I CAN'T. I really ship them.

Another characters like Pent I didn't really cared if I'm being honest. I liked a lot of parts of the story but they were others I just couldn't care. I am here for the pairings and I really hope that P'Nick would be with Mo, he looks like a nice and loveable guy. If Preebo fight for they relationship I'm in and PREE DON'T GO AFTER POP JUST NO. And Pop please realize you are in love with Oat, he have already told you that he loves you... IN YOUR FACE.

I will wait for season 2 though....

WTD is about a witty and refreshing main lead, a selfish and self-centered lead, two people with serious communication issues, a no strings attached honest guy, a miserable girlfriend and some other people that are there for comedic relief.

The story behind WTD seems to go somewhere and then, well then it doesn't. I really adored like 20% of the scenes and the script and got bored by the rest but it's a nice inbetweener or when you have nothing else to watch and like BL.
The acting is better than in some other Thai BL dramas, I guess but except for some really good crying and shocked scenes it wasn't extraordinary.
The characters are well, interesting, I guess. I'm just gonna say two things: I loved the character of the main lead, Pop. He was witty and very different from what we BL fans usually get from the main leads in such shows. He did not fall head over heels in love but also didn't paralyze when he was asked if he liked guys. He seemed pretty normal and realistic tbh...except for the always there umbrella *wink*And my second point, I ended up hating the "good" guys and liking the "bad" guys, so what does that tell you about the characters?

The intro song got pretty annoying after some episodes although I could've listened to the ending song a lot more often.

Rewatch, some scenes yes, but the whole show, probably not anytime soon.

Overall, I recommend watching WTD if you are a BL fan, have nothing to watch or wanna be up to date with all the couple gossip, otherwise,if none of those apply to you, better watch something else...I liked the colours of the series though ^.^

I liked this series but there is so many points I didn't like.
About the main story, it's really basics. One guy who's straight since he has a girlfriend, another guy comes and the first guy is unable to choose between his girlfriend and the guy. The actors who played Oat and Pop aren't convincing, it was sometimes overacted. Some scenes were strange and the first kiss (when Oat is hurted) is ashamed. But they were cute together. The girl who is playing Mo is really good, I like her as actress.

I'm disappointed cause there's not enough development about Mo's work, I mean she's bullied but we know it at the beginning and then nothing. But I think we will know more about it with the chinese version so it's okay.

About Pree and Rambo I was disappointed as well about their relationship. At first they seem really in love but then they are unable to talk. They were just crying all the time. I know it's not a lack in the script, and it shows us a relationship where the 2 guys are unable to forget each other. I know Pree was in love with Pop but in fact he seems really confused. The 2 guys are playing really well, better than the main actors. The sex scenes are really cute, and when they are crying it's really sad, we can feel their pain. I'm looking forward the season 2 for a better development between Pree and Rambo.

Another actress i liked a lot was Pop's mother. She's playing her role really well, I liked her in all the series.

So, I think it's a good series, I mean there is so much potential but it's a pity that the main actors are not better as acting. I think my favorite character is Rambo, cause the actor was perfect, he could cry perfectly. And his character is more realistic. He likes guy but he wants to please to his father. He needs some protection, I feel he's so weak. Pree was unable to take care of him correctly. I mean they needed to talk about Rambo's father and they didn't do it. And at the end of the series, in the last episode, I can totally understand him when he's drugging and having sex with these guys. He's that sad, he needs to forget, he's like a big hole. I'm sure only Pree can save him.

Now I'm waiting for the chinese version to see if the main actors are better, and the story is less basic.

Ugly Frog

I felt like I was watching an ugly frog try to hop through molasses. The writing was so bad like it was written by a bunch of toads with no brains. I’ve seen better plot twists in a pond full of shit. Total flop!!! The plot was a messy jumble, and the dialogue was so cringeworthy it made me want to hurl and the acting was so bad I thought they might start ribbiting instead of talking.

Honestly!!!! I’d rather stick my face in a bog than sit through another episode.

DONT WATCH THIS FUCKERY

What strikes me most about What The Duck The Series is that the story was told in a funny, engaging and touching way. I love the chemistry between Oreo and Strong, and also between Mew and Art. I think this is a very beautiful BL movie romantically told with well thought of plot and scenes. Of course there's no denying that What The Duck has a very beautiful sound track and the music video gives you a full perspective of what the movie is all about. Pop's girlfriend Aim, was also give her own story line, which conflicted with Mew as it turned out Mew is also in love with Oreo in that series. To create this love triangle between brother and sister and Pop in the center of those two hearts is really an interesting twist to the story. I personally love the scene where Strong is at the window and Oreo woke up to the shocking fact that something might have happened between him and Strong. Mew and Art with Got as the third party is an open story line. I don't know if they will explore this in the next season. But again, this reflects the complexities of love. The struggles of Mew and Art presented in the series are presented in a very realistic way and viewers I'm sure can relate to this in their own personal relationships. Because of the acting, and a really beautiful story, I'm giving this movie a 9.5 and encourage everyone to check it out.

What the Duck is a really cute show and I really do like the actors in this show but how they ended season one got me a little mad. It left me wanting more and the whole reason I started watching BL stories is to live through these stories. What the Duck shares a lot of similarities with Together With Me. Some key differences is that Pop and Oat don't actually have sex with each other. Honestly though, most of my hatred for this show stems from Season 2 but I still love all of the actors in the show and wish to see more of them on future BL shows.

I would not recommend this one- too slow with the plot and I kept hoping things would move along.
I started watching this as Mew is in it- I watched his other show and decided to see something eles with him in it as I feel like he is a good actor.
MewArt- They have the best bits over all but their plot is a huge over drama thing that I don't believe would go down like that.
PopOat- they both don't know about themselves so most of it is them being friends and messing around. Not enough growth for me in 20eps
Mo- I don't care about her at all. You with a guy for what 6 or 7 yrs? They have no relationship goals and her job is cuz of him. Her vs Mew is F-ed up for sure. What brother would turn like that lol She has her pilot "friend" too.
Pent- is great. Knows he's a fu*k boy- brings Oat around to think about who he is. Protects Art from more damage. Blows on another guys ear- so funny. He's the guy that wants the D all day every day. And I like what he brings to the show. I hope he's in 2 and has a larger part than just fling guy.

Completed this a few months back and it was only recently where I discovered this website and hence, gonna give a two cents about how exactly I felt when I watched this drama.

Oat and Pop.
People over the comment section in each and every episode literally lashed out on Oat because of how he looks. Like honestly, come on people!!!!! BL is not about all the looks!!!!! It's about the feelings, the love, the sweet moments that it matters. For example, if they actually find someone with good looks but with stiff acting, lord, I can't imagine how many people will drop this drama. Oat is average looking but, he sure is darn cute. The way he pampers Pop with love and how he stares at him lovingly makes me melt all the time and I wanna die hard to find someone like how Oat looks at Pop.

But another thing is that Pop is attached but he is confused with the feelings he has gotten for Oat. This is another so cliche plot where I have seen it in 2938230230322023 BL dramas/movies that I have watched so far. For example, Together With Me The Series.

But, I am definitely rooting for this two in Season 2! :D

Pree and Rambo.

.....
I have no words to say but...

Despite breaking up shortly after, Rambo shows no sense of repent and continued to fool around. Wanting to keep Pree by his side but he just can't stop sleeping around with someone. He almost let Pree caught up with STDs / HIVs. People seem to love this pair more than Oat and Pop and I don't know what to say. Personal Preference? I guess?

Pree and Pop.

Is it bad that I ship this two so hard as well? XD

If Pop and Oat doesn't end up together, I think Pree and Pop makes a great pair as well XD

This was my first BL drama, actually my first drama at all. I think overall it was pretty good. Somethings seemed a bit weird/culturally different and I don't know if that's just how all thai dramas are. Like the way woman are treated i.e Mo, regarding the stuff that happens at her job. I enjoyed watching the budding friendship between Pop & Oat but felt it was so drawn out. I don't know if Oat is really a good fit for Pop. He lacks any ambition outside wanting to be with Pop. I much prefer a PopxPree outcome ;)
The MewArt storyline was hectic. Like all over the place. I don't think they had any happiness in this season and I don't think they were good for each other. Both need some serious character development for a second season.
Overall I enjoyed this series as my first foray into BL drama. Now I need to find something else to binge watch xD
