Lu Yi's cousin continues to fall for Jin Xia's charm while believing she is a man. Lu Yi tests Jin Xia's feelings for him. Jin Xia does become jealous but hides it well from Lu Yi. Shangguan Xi finally comes out with the truth, to Xie Xiao about having a one-sided love for him, but tells him not to feel guilty about breaking off the engagement. Dr. Lin Ling is captured by Yan's men, but Zhai Lanye does not want to deliver her to Yan, for her own reasons. Dr. Lin Ling is saved by Uncle and Head Constable Yang. Xie Xiao tells Lu Yi to quit competing with him for Jin Xia, and stay away from her. Lu Yi tells Xie Xiao that he is not competing because if someone is really yours, they can't be won away.... and if they are someone else's then competing for them is useless. Yan reacts to the news about losing Lin Ling, along with who she is associating with. Lan plots political intrigue with Xu.

OK so now we know that Jinxia was from Xia family that had been killed so what was actually her name? OHH MASTER YANG ACTUALLY KNEW ABT JINXIA.. but why did he hide from Dr Lin then? That was not cool coz Dr Lin already met Jinxia. THAT XIE STUPID XIAO I WILL KILL HIM!!! Not ML trying to gauge FL feeling, she love you you stupid oaf omg SHE RISKED HER LIFE FOR YOU AGHHHHH. Zhai Lan Ye stay stupid and in denial about the villain. This was like second time xie stupid xiao admitted he was stupid right? Good. Ofc xie stupid xiao at it again, he thought he knew everything and right about everything. Li Yu should let him hurt himself coz he likes to act rashly , at least that would buy time to be with Jinxia without him hovering. I just knew Lu Yi would hv to clean XX stupid mess. Pfftt Li Yu has noticed ming er likes Jinxia skskksks. IF those three old ppl didn't start to depart from yangzhou!! I'm scared the villain will hurt any of them. Hmm was Official Xu trustworthy person?? Worried for Lanlan.
