the show started on 5 mar 2020 and ended 16 April 2020 its wrap up early for some reason (may be corona virus) initially it was announced 20 episodes i don't think this needed this long otherwise the way it was going i'm really going to frustrated but fortunately it started drastically and ended beautifully the 2007 version is worst version about that i don't want to talk
the unsaid things from 1996 versions are said gracefully in this , their are something which are mark-able words/dialogues of 1996 i missed in this, their are scene which shouldn't be putted in this i hated it, the character portrayed in parent story need applause but here they are not up to their characters . even in this one is almighty the king ransimun and every one inferior to him . almost last 40% drama are really good to watch.
i've mixed feeling for it people who watched parent story understand me very well i'm not convinced by the background setup/production if characters are not justified . as the description king rangsimun character are cold and not expressing kind but here in one moment he expresses things next moment he became cold . the way num potrayed king rangsimun 1996 is better i prefer . as like all the characters i prefer 1996 better than this but as i said its extended version of it the things which left unsaid are expresses here for that i appreciated it . its nice version but not the great one i can say
after watching 1st episode i thought it'll going to be promising one not near to original but at not be the worst to previous why its seems to me a fancy dress show where artist wear clothes and walk in stage here and their people amages by their clothes and setups behind them even a monkey can wear nice dress and look good is such environment but we cant make him to deliver right thing
the worst delivery of acting by all artists they spoiled the whole story
SUGGESTION: parent story 1996 + remake 2020 last 5 episodes

While watching this drama I kept thinking what went wrong that made it feel like very plain.. Well I'm not an expert, but Personally, there are few things that i feel like if only it's improved this drama could be much more interesting :
1. the Back sound ==> I realise the sad back sound when it comes to Tatsiga scene, is very annoying, it's like ruining the mood. Especially when Tatsiga and Rangsiymun were together in one scene.. I feel like wanna scream "please don't use that back sound, it's horrible." Some dialogue feels plain and boring because of that sound. Made me feel like if ever they change the back sound maybe some scene will feel better, maybe the chemistry will be better, maybe...
2. Emotionless interaction between main leads ==> I sometimes think this could probably be because of the back sound when they're together (see how much that back sound annoy me :p), but as much as I think Tik is handsome, I couldn't help to think I wish to see more of him; I wish to see someone the King who is cool on the outside, but with a playful side that has a great love to Tatsiga. And I wish to have more emotion interaction where they can develop love feeling sooner (well what's the point having that annoying King cousin and charaparee if not making main leads life a bit colorful right?)
3. I need to see Tatsiga version that more spicy, and a bit mischievous to the King during her stay in Kasit.
But still there are things I love about this Drama :
1. Costume and outdoor setting is amazing.. I looove Kasit soldier's costume. And we can really see the difference of three kingdom costumes.
2. Surprisingly I love Tiyuttithorn and Maneesala they're cute together and and entertaining, also krawan and rachid is quite funny together.
Well it's not bad drama, is just too plain in some scenes for me. I wish it could be better

Disappointing.
Disclaimer: This is all my opinion, if anyone here enjoyed the drama, you do you. Let me do me.1. Why Tik? Out of all the actors available, why him? He's passed his prime. Visually, verbally, and physically, he's passed his prime. When I watched the episodes, I didn't feel the energy of a King. He lacks assertiveness. His acting was stiff and lack emotion. He looks like he read the script and repeated the dialogues. He didn't become Rangsiymun, he's impersonating Rangsiymun. He's not making the character into his own, he's just portraying it. You get me? I don't think he's fit for the role. He literally looks like a Dad attempting to be some badass guy.....and it doesn't look good. The chemistry between Tik and Kimberly is almost non-existent. To each their own but to me, I didn't see it. They look like a mismatched pair.
2. The clothing choice is over the top. It looks like clothes you'd see on a theater set. I wonder if they spent all the money on costumes and had nothing left for the CGI.
3. CGI. It's so bad it's comedic. I don't mind bad CGI when I know it's only a small part of the whole story, but this drama relies so much on CGI for the locations and surroundings that I find it insulting the CGI was so awful. It's beyond me. How can this drama be from 20019-2020 and have the same (or similar) level of CGI as the 2008 version?
I don't think I have anything good to say about this remake. It just feels so flat for me.
Overall, in my opinion, this remake is disappointing. Pass.

Average Drama
Overall for me everything was perfect no matter costumes,fitting,scene quality as well as casting.Personally, the pairing of Tik Kim show a gap of aged and i don't think a problem since Rangsimun was a King and maybe need for a actor who are more senior/elder. I think that if ML was Ken T might be more perfect cause physically he is taller than Kim .
CG was the deduct point since everything actually can do a real background. Acting was not a issue for most of the casting since everyone were experienced actor/actress.
