Another important part of this story - it did had the best ending. No character was left with a story dangling -- it was told from beginning to end so as a viewer I was totally satisfied.
Would I recommend watching -- most definitely. I haven't watched many Lakorns but this is already on the top of my list as my favorite. Definitely not a slap and kiss drama but a well founded story of personal life experiences centered around a family environment.

Nothing happens by chance, by fate. You create your own fate by your actions. That's Karma.
Honestly I skipped 60% of this drama cause I feel it was boring and draggy.I dropped it once but glad I picked it up again. This is really good lakorn if you're looking for Melodrama with Family stuff. I cried trice in the whole Lakorn. First, The love story og Phiangpen and Karn. Second, the relationship of Sor Renu and Taokenia. Lastly, on the Last Episode.Everyone received their own Karma at the end but I feel bad for some Characters. Every Episode have a Lesson and quote in the end.
Mai portrayed her Character as a Mother very well.
Bella never disappointed us her acting was really great same as Yiiwha.
James Ji good actor but there's something missing that I don't know.
Music is very melodramatic but it suits this Lakorn since it is Family. I don't think I will rewatch this Drama again cause I really feel bored.
Overall, This one is good but not the best. I will recommend this if you're looking for Family Drama sinceit didn't focused too much on Romance. I watched it for Bella and James Ji but no one informed me that they're Siblings in law. Not complaining though

A very nice family drama
I don't watch family drama as much but wow I really like this one. It definitely have all of the aspects of what a family dynamic would look like with the mom pretty much being in charge of her sons lives. Will i rewatch this drama again? Yes. I have watched it multiple time again. It's one of those drama where it really do make you reflect on life and think about karma. I definitely cried countless time.
I love the introduction of each characters, their own story and that there's really no 'main' character. Yes, the story does revolve around Asa, Reynu and Yoi more but because the story was quite well written their storyline didn't overshadowed the other characters. Every one acting was quite good. Asa character really won my heart, why? Well I feel like in every family there's always one who is like Asa. One who always tried their best to lightened up the mood, be the peacemaker, be the cheerful person although they may have their own problems. But what really make me love Asa is the fact that he finally chose his path and live his life for once the way he want. Reynu finally come to term about the use of black magic and decided to live with the outcome and see where life take her instead of relying on it. Pilai, although she was the mean person I guess, I love the fact that she repented her wrongdoing and found a caring and loving environment where she can really grow to be a better person.
I think that's the beauty of this drama, when we think of karma we think about how people will received the worst of it. But this drama also make you realize that when you acknowledge your sins or wrongdoing in life you can correct it.
I really love Bella characters in here, and although she wasn't pair up with James I was okay with it. Their individual character play such a bigger role that you sometime forget that they're not going to end up together. I genuinely think that Bella play this character so well that I possibly cannot think of someone else to be Reynu.
James is such a humble person, someone who is carefree and so when I saw Asa character, it almost feel like Asa character is meant to be written for James.
Also, wow, maybe it's just me but I love that they did minimal effort on Asa appearance. The flat hair which really gave his character that humble look. Reynu and her red lipstick.

BEST FAMILY DRAMA
I'm a bit hesitant to watch this because I'm not into family dramas. I just watched it because I like Bella Ranee and James Ji so much.I have mixed emotions in this lakorn. Some parts made me laugh, angry and emotional. Love interests are unpredictable! If you want a break from cheesy lakorns, get your heart ready and watch this.
All OST are superb, already downloaded it so I can listen any time. Hehe.
Most importantly is, I learned a lot of lessons and this lakorn made me think of my actions and karmas.

There is good and bad karma in this world. This drama has changed by life.
FIRST - This drama has truly changed by life for the better. It has taught me life lessons, and is just a great drama you have to try. And, I'm not kidding. It really has changed my life. It made me think differently and have a better mindset about life in general and kindness. We all have karma, whether it's good or bad, or both. This drama has taught me a lot, and I'll remeber this beautifully made drama forever.Story: I truly love this drama, and I gave it a 10 because it truly deserves it. This drama shows that people are not perfect. We all have to underestnad that. If we do something wrong or bad, we have to learn from our mistakes nad do better next time. We have to be kind. Krong Karm is all about showing how different people live their differently styled lives. It shows how they deal with their good/bad karma and kindness. Love the storyline so much!
Acting/Cast: I couldn't think of any better cast. This cast fits in beautifully. Asee is my favorite character, but I love Renu the most. ❤
Music: I love the music! Fits in very well with the story! I loved Gam's version the best!
Rewatch Value: Oh yes! When I have free time, this is on the top of my list. Will likely rewatch it!
Overall: I gave this a 10 overall. I also love how James and Bella are siblings in law. That is so cute and cool! Please go watch Krong Karm, if you haven't already! Once again, all the morals in the drama have changed my life for the better! :)

This lakorn is worth watching as it teaches many lessons to be used in life. I loved how the story focused on family life and family issues, it's not your typical romantic lakorn where the male lead and female lead are good people. This lakorn highlights that there is nobody perfect in this world, we all make mistakes and make decisions that are not always the best choice, which is why karma exists. Every character in the drama had their downfall which is what makes them human, even the most perfect/kindest person. Every character has their own reasons to do what they do which is why we have to try and understand each other. The cast and acting was amazing beyond words. Overall, this is a really good family drama, it may be quite long but it's worthwhile. However, it still saddens me about Asee. The character I both dislike but love so much. I wanted to see him mature up and accept his wrongdoings so he could be with the one he loves but he never got a chance to. He was a young spoiled kid who didn't know what to do in such situation so he exhorted to that direction and I wanted to give him a chance to see his wrongdoings but he didn't even get a chance. Every character in this lakorn got a chance to grow from their past and move on to start a new life but Asee never did. I believe that everyone deserves a second chance. My main ship will remain AseeXWanna. Was this review helpful to you?
A crazy melodrama
●HOW I CAME TO ITI started this drama for Bella and James but wait they aren't a couple in this series, they are inlaws here and have a friendly bond.
●FIRST IMPRESSION
What comes to mind when hearing BLACKMAGIC? Something like, any person who does Blackmagic to someone is property or to harm them, and the person doing it is bad. But this drama completely changed my perspective of thinking and gave me a new way to think from the doer’s eye.
Also think twice before judging a person, even though he is wrong.
●PLOT VIEW
it was extremely crazy from the start to finish and felt like I was on a rollercoaster and would hit the lowest part of the loop all the time. There were so many couples and almost everyone had a double relationship filled with betrayal, infidelity, pregnancy, ego, honesty, social class, and love. Once I thought that why every relationship is woven into pregnancy thread, but this drama takes place in somewhat ’60s, and yeah people at that time and now also take this unmarried pregnancy issue as a pride thing for a family. This drama had kept the tension level high in every episode always telling that whatever you do will always come back. though it becomes boring during scenes where the character kept on crying for more than 30seconds and I usually 2x the speed.
Father and mother had who opened up a store and made it successful from the ground had 4 sons who were like the 4 pillars of the house. But karma strikes in and shakes up their world. The mother who led the 5men of the family couldn’t accept that her son would disobey his decision of marital match. It was also because of how headstrong Renu was and she thought she was making correct choices for her sons.
Karn and Piangpen story was touching while Renu and Achai story was satisfying.
●ACTING/CAST
Every character was exceptionally good. Even if they fought and played antagonists they made their character hateful with their performance.
There is no ML or FL but characters who have equal contributions to this complicated family drama.
Renu (Bella Ranee )portraying a dignified ex-prostitute, having strong will and stubbornness is delightful to watch. She still accepts her social class, her misfortune, her limited capability but embraces life and challenges as they come.
Kamol /Asa (James) was the typical boy next door and whom you can stop adoring. He was the guy for putting in the smiles in the drama despite high tension. His genuineness and easygoingness were delightful to watch.
Mother Yoi (Mai) is devastatingly amazing. I read that she is single and yet she portrayed this complex character of the mother with volcanic of emotions. She sure was hard to watch during the initial episodes but that is just the foundation of strong character as She completely absorbed herself in being the shrewish character.
Asee (August) his sweet yet flirty nature grabs the attention. Being the youngest of the family surely made him lovable and stubborn making you fall with his kindness.
Karn (Kuan) was pleasant stealing hearts as a village singer. His smile and shirtless body working at the rice mill were feasts to eyes.
Janta(Preeyakarn) and Wanna(Pie) these two simple hardworking girls stole some hearts with their amiable and Kind-hearted nature. They just naturally played themselves.
●MUSIC
The opening track“Phit Rue Thirak” was sung by Yoi(Mai), she put her heart and soul into the track. The lyrics translation was a tearjerker. Thanks to subbers.
Another song“jai si thao” sung by James Jirayu is soft and soulful.
●REWATCH
It was such a heavy drama that made me lose myself and I paused in between to cry out. But still, I would like to watch this drama again in the long future.
●APPRECIATION
I loved how each character gets closure with no loose ends in the story. Despite having so many characters and stories we get to see their folded past which gives them their fruit of karma.
The background portrayal as in the 60s time was beautiful. The village, market, lakes, and houses were beautiful.
●FAV SCENE
I loved the scenes of Renu and Asee's friendship throughout the show.
●QUOTES
All the quotes at the end of the episode were thought-provoking.
What we saw and thought is good is actually defective. What we thought was bad is worthy instead. There is an only illusion in life because of prejudice, to Yoi
●AFTERTHOUGHT
This drama shows that good deeds cannot be exchanged for wrongdoing and Karma will eventually strike you.
Black magic is bad but wrongdoings are fatal.
think twice before judging someone, coz you don’t know what they have gone through in past.
