Stupidity is the only word that can sum up this drama. I enjoyed Joy's acting and thought it was completely fine. The chemistry between Woo Do-Hwan wasn't the greatest, but it was watchable. There were so many breakups and reunions that it felt like a joke at some point. The female second lead is a classic example of a manipulative pretty-faced bitch. The male second lead was a let down at points too.. Everyone was so corrupted in this drama other than our female lead. I still did get a decent cry out though for the emotional scenes. I was worried about this first because of the reviews/comments I read online. Now that I've watched it, I'm glad I did. I get that it could not do as well because the promotions described it as dark, mysterious, sexual, aesthetic and what not, but that's about it.
Story :
The story was well-thought and well-paced. I don't usually prefer slow dramas so it wasn't hard for me to continue this. Although in some places you could make a vague guess what's going to happen, it wasn't that predictable. In the last 2-3 episodes, I cried until I couldn't breathe as they reminded me of myself(lol). At times, I got frustrated of the plot, so I'm giving it a 8.5.
Acting/Cast :
This drama had some amazing actors who did their job well.
1. JOY has some skills I got so say. The emotions she displays are varied. Feeling of first love, true love, sadness, betrayal, she could do it all, you just name it. Her acting convinced me to watch her other dramas. She plays EUN TAE HEE.
2. DO HAN also did a good job. He only displayed 3 emotions ~ love, sadness and betrayal. However, he did a great job. His chemistry with Joy is noticeably okay. He plays KWON SHI HYUN.
3. GA YOUNG's character did not do her justice to be honest. Don't get me wrong, she did alright but it's the character. I get it was supposed to be a strong and imposing but I just couldn't handle the things she did. I liked her better in 'Eulachcha Waikiki'. She plays CHOI SOO JI.
4. MIN JAE did a commendable role. Out of the 3 friends, he was the most thoughtful. Min Jae plays it as well as it suits him. He plays LEE SE JOO.
Keeping other actors and characters in mind, I'm giving it a 9.0.
Music :
The music is the saving grace, honestly. Many were instrumentals by artists like Fara Effect, which suited the scenes accordingly. DK's Missed Connections/Me First is my top pick. The vocals, background music, it's usage were just perfect. MOMOLAND's Hug Me is also recommended. It's a light, fluffy song used for happy moments so it's alright.
For music, it's a 10.
You can re-watch if you really want to. Like really. I myself don't re-watch dramas so I don't really know about this one too. So, it's a 7.0.
Overall, it's an 8.5. It got lower because of a few characters and twists that I couldn't handle.

Okay, so this obviously wasn't as great as I had anticipated it to be which is probably why I nearly dropped it. The character development was just right off the bat, terrible. So, let's start off with everything WRONG with the character developments of the main characters.Eun Tae Hee - In the beginning, she was supposedly a girl who was basically allergic to guys. She didn't have crushes, she rejected those who wanted her, and she straight up didn't believe in love. To avoid spoilers, lets just say this part of her character is completely shattered wayyyy too soon.......
Kwon Shi-Hyun - For someone who was a "seducer", he didn't do much "seducing" nor did he seduce that many women after like 1 episode.........

(I have nothing else to write but I need 500 characters for some reason...)

Is it worth getting into? Nah.
Did I enjoy watching it? Somewhat.
Below is what led to my disappointment as well as what kept me watching until the last episode:
Story: The first few episodes oozed mystery, drama, and sex appeal, lead me to think that this was gonna be a heavy drama. I was excited to be watching something different from the usual light-hearted, cookie cutter "romance" dramas. However, the story line and weight of the issues/conflicts eventually trickled into the usual flat, stereotypical plot lines many K-drama viewer would be used to.
I really think the plot/director/screenplay is what ruined this drama. It seemed to attempt to build viewers up to some climax, but there was consistently no big shocker moment nor anything that glued together the pieces the previous episodes had laid out (just a heads up if you plan on watching and keep on expecting "the moment".)
The actors and actresses did their best with the script and characters they were given, but they're ultimately left powerless if the story itself can't come together.
Actors/Actresses (4):
1) Woo Do-Hwan: A new addition to my list of great actors that can carry a drama even if it was in tatters. He was so natural
2) Joy: She's definitely not bad, and she's improved a lot since "The Liar and His Lover," but there were moments her acting was just making me skip parts of the drama.
3) Moon Gayoung: She's a good actress, and portrayed the damaged mean girl very well. I liked her till the end and was only annoyed at parts where they dragged on her scenes, but again, that's due to the directing and story itself.
4) Kim Minjae: HONESTLY, MY FAVORITE. I'd last seen him in Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim (2016), and he seemed very young back then as well as didn't have the opportunity to showcase his acting chops due to his role. He wasn't the main character in any way, but whenever he showed up on screen, he made his scene count. His acting felt seamless for this role.
Overall, not too many regrets watching this drama, because I wanted to see how the actors and actresses delivered until the very end, and I'm glad I discovered Woo Do-Hwan as well as got a second look at Kim Minjae.
I would have told my future self to not waste time watching this drama though. If you decide to watch it, you may enjoy it for the first few episodes and eventually reach the plateau/disappointment I was talking about.

Like, this movie had us all upset, happy , annoyed , nervous, crying, shouting, throwing things at the screen. The ending though... like I loved it sooo sooo sooo much. I felt like I grew up with the story. The story line had something that everyone could related to. I wanted more but knew it was the end of their journey. Thank you my storms

The Great Seducer was a drama that didn't really match the title. I was curious as to how this seducing part was going to work out considering the fact that they were 3 friends who just graduated from high school. I can say that's what drew me in.Story:
I have to say that the first few episodes were really interesting not to say the least. It seemed as if this drama was going to have a really intense story line. The family part also looked promising. However, as the story progressed, it was as if the plot had changed. No one was seducing anyone and the 'family issue' plot was just falling apart. Because I'm a sucker for romance, I really loved the part where Tae Hee and Si Hyun were together. Side note: it would have been nice if they had explained a bit more about the supermodel who Si Hyun seduced.
Acting/Cast:
I always see a lot of people complain when an idol stars in a drama but I believe Joy did a good job portraying her character: a strong-willed yet fragile woman in her 20s. I personally believe Si Hyun was my favourite character to watch considering the fact that he had the most character development (I'll definitely check out more dramas with Woo Do Hwan in them + his eyes were really charming). I found Soo Ji's and Se Joo's characters very interesting at first but afterwards it was just boring to see the push and pull between them and I was just so confused about their relationship. One thing I have to say is that I found Kyung Ju very awkward to watch. I don't know if that's just the way Jung Da Ham acts or if it was her character but it was uncomfortable to watch.
Music:
Not much to comment on the music other than to say it fit the concept of the drama. Personally no song stood out to me.
Rewatch value:
I don't think I would rewatch this drama other than the romance parts. I definitely take episode 17 to my heart because it was just so sweet (I've actually rewatched that episode a couple of times already).
Overall, I don't think it's a bad drama. It was entertaining to watch.

Misleading title but amazing chemistry
I really enjoyed the start of this drama, the chemistry between the three friends and their background and family stories. In my opinion this show had such a huge potential that has been completely wasted on the lovestory of the main couple. The plot itself focused on the wrong things and up to now I do not understand how this car accident had such a great impact (she didn't die so come on don't be so overdramatic!). Also I sometimes had a hard time to understand the feelings of the characters because it seemed like they wanted to make this story super dramatic but failed to explain why it was so dramatic and desperate since they ignored the background stories. The ending was so typical for such a drama but I was glad how it ended for soo ji and se joo. But yeah overall the plot was quite a mess. The acting was great if you ask me, even though Joy could improve a bit ;) I actually watched this drama because I loved Moon Ga Young in True Beauty and she did not disappoint at all! She is amazing!
As mentioned I think they could have done more with this, but I still enjoyed this drama because I really cared about the friendship.

An okay drama
LIKEPast entanglement between Young Won, Suk Woo and Mi Ri
DISLIKE
Feel like the misunderstandings between Shi Hyun and Tae Hee was quite brief and not in depth. Not painful enough to create an impact.
MUSIC - personal fav
Missed Connections - DK (Seventeen)

REWATCH VALUE
Doesn't matter if I re-watch or not

The story definitely wavered from the original story, but I didn't find that a bad thing. I don't know why people are surprised by the writing. It is pretty typical teen/young adult angst written drama. I'm more surprised that there was no amnesia. I fully expected it toward the end. Woo Do Hwan as Kwon Shi Hyun was supposed to be the seducer, but Joy as Eun Tae Hee showed him a different kind of relationship that was very seductive in its sincerity. I think that Tae Hee ends up being the great seducer. I liked her character. She was firm in her thoughts and stood up for herself. Moon Ga Young as Choi Soo Ji was just a crazy little thing. Those boys should have reigned her in some or at the very least not started revenge on some guy that she didn't even like, although said guy was a total ass. Kim Min Jae as Lee Se Joo was basically a tool used to carry the story line forward at some points. I didn't really care about his character. I think the flaw in this drama is that I didn't really feel sorry for the the three friends at the end like I think the writer intends. The adults were total scum in this drama for the most part. If they had treated their children with some respect and love, then maybe they wouldn't be so horrible. I guess my problem is that I think some people should have been punished more harshly.
The acting was decent. I'm really tired of people dissing idol actors. Joy did just fine. I think Woo Do Hwan was the best and not just because he is totally cute. He was emotionally appropriate for the scenes. Sometimes people blame the actors for bad acting when it is bad writing and directing. I think that might be the case in this drama because so many people were disappointed in the story line. Moon Ga Young can certainly play crazy well. The other actors were fine also.
I really enjoyed the music.
I will never rewatch this.
Overall, I think it was a fun watch and would recommend it to those who like teen angst dramas.

This drama may be not for everyone. The characters are not meant to be like. But I find if people are complaining about the selfish characters of this drama, that means all the actors and actresses are doing a great job in portraying them. I find the vulnerability and the selfishness of the main four characters are humane. I mean no one is perfect, everyone has their own desire and selfishness but you can see that they grow up by the end of the series.

i really like this dramastrong plot , never get bored and cute love
away from harsh reviews which i saw at the beginning,
i decided to give it a try and i never regret
i enjoyed it
it has lots of heartwarming moments
somehow it shows how love can turn monsters into real human beings
but what provoked me much
how ga young was so selfish till the end
i thought during time passed she is going to discover that her feelings towards (do hwan) wasn't real
and when (min jae) left her she is going to know her real feelings towards him specially she was feeling jealous on him much more than (do hwan)
but that doesn't happen
and although she knew how much he loved her
she goes to him at the end but still in love with (do hwan) which annoys me so much
and what provoked me also, the FL (joy)
she already forgave (do hwan) and said that when she was beside his bed at the hospital
then suddenly left him and time jump for 5 yrs with no logical reason
then he came back and she told him why u r late???
REALLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and i was so sad about the end of (ha nee) and her boyfriend
i hate KD's epilogues just rubbish
except that the drama was really great
