A romantic comedy that executes itself with maturity and few cliches. Park Min Young and Kim Jae Wook had overflowing chemistry. The looks in their eyes could deceive you for off-screen romance with their multitude of kisses being passionate. This drama had the most mature couple I've seen in a drama that really understood each other and helped each other achieve their own happiness. Park Min Young is truly a great actress, proven by her years in the industry. No noble idiocy, no misunderstandings - this IS the perfect couple everyone wishes to have in real life. The side characters like Cindy and her mom had a nice character development, and even our 2nd lead didn't get too caught up in his love triangle and redeemed himself. The story wasn't anything special, but the writers pulled it off so well. The OST is also fantastic and fit every scene. Was this review helpful to you?

This drama should be renamed to Mr. Steal Your Girl. This show showcased unbelievable love from the ML, who kept searching for his girlfriend for over 14 years. Forgiveness and acceptance are two main key points of this show. The two leads, Yoon Eun Hye and Park Yoochun, had a really emotional chemistry due to the traumatic experiences the two characters experienced. Yoo Eun Hye's visuals are pretty unique but beautiful. Their acting showcased sadness very well, especially since there were at least two damn crying scenes every single episode of this 21-part series. The child actors did a splendid job, even more so than the adult actors, in portraying their emotions. I felt slight pity for the antagonist, but that quickly dissipated as he was proven to be a total jackass. This show is far from perfect with its many plot holes and probably deserves a lower rating than this, but I enjoyed it so much regardless, non-stop watching it through 2 days that I can't give it any lower. This drama nailed nearly all the aspects for a good drama. So Ji Sub and Gong Hyo Jin delivered a masterful performance expected from senior actors. The ML's little traits made the show a whole lot better, such as his "get out" hand movements. The FL really matured a lot throughout this drama. Even with frustrating moments for the views towards the end, I was impressed by the FL. Likewise with the ML. Gong Hyo Jin is so adorably cute too. I think parts of the drama was too melo for a rom-com however. The other couples were a nice addition as well. Was this review helpful to you?

Instead of a drama, this show felt like a long movie. I was hooked onto it and kept watching the back stabbings, twists, and turns unfold. This drama shows us how greed controls many, but even so, human morals may still prevail at the end. Yoo Seung-ho was fantastic in this drama in the way he portrays his emotions as a kid and then adult. Park Min Young was criminally underused, but her role was still very appreciable. I really enjoyed the friendship between the two leads but also didn't mind how it blossomed into romance near the end. The side characters were developed, but many relationships between them are unknown. This may be the first drama where I really wished that a bit of K-drama unrealism filled in and gave our ML a miracle cure for his disease. The ending is so bittersweet with all the antagonists being finally put to justice. The OST did its job with the appropriate scenes. Was this review helpful to you?

A drama that focuses entirely on character development through the use of the plot. Each episode was paced extremely well with no dragging or rushed moments. The two leads, Lee Bo Young and Lee Jong Suk, had a great brother/sister chemistry that later transformed into a passionate romance. The first noona romance I've seen, I can say I've thoroughly enjoyed this show. Lee Bo Young's acting is exceptional as expected from a senior actress with her ability to play any trait for her character well. I was shocked to discover this was one of Lee Jong Suk's starting dramas, seeing how he has already established himself as a A-grade veteran actor. The ending wrapped up nicely, but there were a few plot holes that I almost forgot about. The court scenes were quite unrealistic unfortunately. The OST wasn't memorable but did justice to the scenes it was in. Was this review helpful to you?

This drama was addicting. I watched it completely in two sittings and one all-nighter. The story was a tale of how evil influences can break even the tightest of bonds. The two main leads, Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Hee, were fabulous in their roles. Their romance was burning with passionate skin ship scenes and care for one another. Their acting was emotion-filled and made me feel like I was actually there with them in the scene. I also enjoyed the partner relationship between the 2nd FL and the ML, which was actually supportive and caring without being overbearing. The script completely captivated me into this genre of action spy dramas. The action scenes were well-choreographed and packed with high adrenaline gun fights. The ending was tragic but fitting as it was nearly impossible for the ML to have a happy ending after pissing off the underlying antagonists throughout the series. The OST was great, but the cinematography was terrible with random screen zooms and shaky cam. Was this review helpful to you?

This drama can be described in only one word: unbelievable. Protectiveness is surprisingly the fatal flaw in this series that leads to the characters demise. Seo In Guk and Jung So Min had a satisfying amount of chemistry but nothing too spectacular. Seo In Guk outdid himself with this drama, being able to display a cold, calculating, and mysterious character who you just are drawn towards and want to figure out. Jung So Min's acting was good, but her expressions were too stoic in this drama. I found it hard to believe the FL had the type of unconditional love for a manipulator. She literally went to bed with the ML right after the ML indirectly murdered his girlfriend/her best friend. Secrets were kept far too long right until the very end, but by then, it was too late. Tragic love with unexpected twists and reveals. Everything could have been done better but still worthwhile watch. Was this review helpful to you?

A stunning movie that captured all sorts of emotions from the start to finish. I was impressed by the amount of gore included with this film, which is definitely not for the faint hearted. The film captured the best moments of humanity, as well as the worst. The film spent its beginning building up to the ending in a masterful way. The action scenes were a joy to watch. Won Bin and Kim Sae Ron had a great father-daughter dynamic, and both were splendid actors in their own rights. I nearly teared up at the bittersweet ending, something I rarely do for these type of movies. Was this review helpful to you?

A well-rounded police procedural. This drama was focused on revenge for the ML but had quite a few subplots that I didn't understand. Lee Seung Gi and Go Ara were enjoyable in their roles, but I felt something was lacking in their acting, especially Go Ara's. The romance progressed at a slow but realistic pace. All the supporting characters were well-placed in the show and all had a small but meaningful part to contribute to advance the story line. The villainous Mom made me grit my teeth every time I saw her. Overall, this drama was focused on the day-to-day lives of police detectives that is mixed in with comedy, romance, action, and a bit of melodrama/revenge. Was this review helpful to you?

This drama had severe mood swings as it progressed. Kim Tae Hee and Joo Won portrayed such a painful, understanding, but loving relationship that I really enjoyed. The FL is what you call a badass, emphasize on the "bad". Kim Tae Hee truly deserves her recognition as a "national beauty" and is a charismatic actress. Joo Won is just absolutely magnificent in his portrayal of the many emotions of the ML. As the show furthered, our FL became engrossed in revenge to the point I was questioning if she was gonna die in the end or not. The ending was incredibly rushed, especially in the last 10 minutes of the show. Was this review helpful to you?

This show had everything to be top-rated but fell flat for me in attachment. The drama had a very interesting plot line which reminded of SAO Ordinal Scale. It was shot beautifully with a grayish scale tone being always present. Hyun Bin and Park Shin Hye did a fantastic job in their roles with Hyun Bin obviously being the star of the show as the one man army against all odds. The romance was present, but it wasn't one that made me excited or happy, even though there was good chemistry. I was relieved the Park Shin Hye was finally able to kiss properly against her last drama. The show portrayed how even just one person's faith can mean the world to you and be a pillar of strength to keep moving on. There were plot holes as you neared the end, and the ending itself was very bittersweet and open-ended. The OST was seriously outstanding though like it came out of a freakin Skyrim game. This is one drama that I sincerely enjoyed watching entirely without minimal skipping. This drama had a bit of everything: comedy, romance, action, melodrama. The scenes with tension really made your heart race, and there were so many unexpected moments that made you go "what the fuck just happened?" Lee Seung Gi and Ha Ji Won portrayed such a beautiful caring chemistry that really showed how much their characters loved each other. I thoroughly enjoyed the fact the FL was the one protecting the ML physically, but that the ML was protecting the FL through his societal powers. The FL was such a badass and girl crush, I can see why many girls fell in love with her. The villainous scenes were terrifying but also hilarious in how the psychopathic villain was portrayed. All the characters stayed true to their roots despite their situations. I was amazed at how the drama crammed so many different subplots in such little time without making it feel rushed. The music was perfect in every scene, especially the action scenes. Was this review helpful to you?

A drama I really bonded with the characters and actors.. First drama I've seen from start of airing till finish of it. Jinyoung's acting for a newcomer is unbelievable. He and Shin Ye Eun have great chemistry fit for a naive teenage/young adult couple that is just very sweet and cute. I was not expecting the turn to the more thriller side of the show after the fun and comedic start. Jisoo's death.. man, that was tough. The ending was bitter sweet, but all the loose ends were resolved. Going to miss this show. Was this review helpful to you?

A very heartwarming drama with a very unique take with mental health involved. Our two main leads, Joo Woon and Moon Chae Won, had such a nice supporting relationship. As expected, it won't be the type where there's much skin ship, but the moments they were on the screen were very tingly. Joo Won is an outstanding actor. He does such a great job acting as an autistic man. Not gonna lie, his character was so adorable throughout the entire series. Surprisingly, I focused much more on the romance, friendship, and hospital politics more so than the medical aspect of this show. There was some SERIOUS character development for almost everyone in the show. Was this review helpful to you?

There were more hugging scenes than I could count, as well as flashbacks. The show kept me in fear as I watched how our leads dealt with their next harrowing situation. Jin Ki Joo and Jang Ki Jong were splendid in their roles. Their younger counterparts were also very noteworthy. The villain was exceptional, making you have shivers whenever he appeared on screen. The show did get repetitive after the beginning with similar dialogue for certain scenes, and the plot was barely progressing. Still an enjoyable watch surprisingly though.
