Both are New Journey To The West's spin off produced by Na Yeong Seok PD (NaPD / GodNa). Both have Song Min Ho. Both are very charming in their own way with witty caption as always. Both are very refreshing and relatable.

Both are about celebrities running a business. In unexpected business they run a supermarket in a village for 10 days while the original owner is on vacation. Kang’s Kitchen is a New Journey to The West and Youn's Kitchen spin off.
5 members are traveling to Jeju-do to open up a restaurant and serving the locals and tourists.

However is the main host of his own show Baek Jong's Alley Restaurant helping Restaurants & chefs. In Kang's kitchen, Chef Baek makes guest appearances giving advices to members on cooking, and like his other shows eats to judge if they are worthy of having his signature seal of approval of delicious food.
