Great group of people, great food, great content, but
If I hear theose same songs one more time..... The other Youn's Kitchen, Youn's Stay and Jinny's Kitchen all had diverse (sometimes absolutely unhinged, in the best way) music, but this season seemed to just play the same couple songs. Over. And over. And over..... Otherwise I loved it. The cast has such great chemistry, and the food looks amazing. The bits where they show them at home are sweet, and the location is beautiful (although we do get a few too many sweeping montages with those same two songs.....)Was this review helpful to you?
Love the human element
I was wondering how Ms. Youn learned her English, does anyone know? I would've thought not a lot of Koreans her generation dpeak it much. My only trip to Seoul, I had more luck speaking in Japanese, which I didn't want to do, I'm sure people who know about the history can understand why, than English apart from people at the hotel. Nice to see Spaniards who are happy people, enjoying life and also raving about Korean food besides the tourists. They all seemed to love it! Some of the dishes I've never had, but now want to try. Seo Jun and Yu Mi work their tails off as do Ms. Youn and Seo Jin. I think it must've been hard, esp for Ms. Youn to stay on her feet for so long cooking, and I'm guessing why this was her last time to participate in this kitchen/restaurant series.Plenty of laughs watching this, the assistant chef who comes with the big group is quite the character and what he said about Yu Mi was funny. I tried to see if he spoke to her after the big group's meal, but I guess he's too shy and didn't. Plenty of cute kids and dogs in the show.
I hope they continue the series with Jinny's Kitchen, saw Mexico first, after Iceland which is how I learned about this series and Bali. I don't know why, but I enjoy watching these shows and seeing what people say about the food and the actors, and seeing how international the customers have been in all the locations. What I really appreciated seeing is how these actors are quite humble and down to earth. Please stay that way, no one likes arrogance from people no matter their walk of life, at least I don't!

This has to be without doubt my favourite one of the series.
I actually saw Jinny's Kitchen first because of Wooga Squad and only later watched all the previous versions now that Season 2 of Jinny's is airing. And I have to say after seeing them all (barring Youn's Kitchen 1), this has stood out the most for me. I absolutely loved the subtler product placement than the other seasons and the genuine relationships they formed in the neighbourhood in this season. We saw some great bonds on all the other seasons too, but they were quite commercialised in a way. Here, you saw genuine friendships between the team and locals, the actual work that goes behind running a restaurant and also how they rallied together to make it a success. Also, this has by far been the only one where I saw someone actually react to the food negatively, which made it much more realistic. They are not professionals and are cooking for people with a different taste palette, of course, they will make mistakes. Love how they recover from that first disaster!I also quite enjoyed the behind-the-scenes and the amazing chemistry between the team. It has been interesting to get an insight into their day other than the restaurant like the washing fairy Yu Mi and running Seo Jun. Also, the beautiful scenery of Tenerife adds to the charm of this variety show.
My favourite episode was the one with the people from the Square Restaurant. Loved the friendship between these two teams!
A must-watch for anyone who likes watching variety shows!

Maravilhoso
