Zhi Yan is scolded and threatened by the Captain, for causing Li ChenLan to fall into this state. Invisible Zhao Yao goes to check on Li ChenLan's condition. She hears Li ChenLan say "... this is the 1st time I am grateful to have a long life. I was able to wait and live to see today." She wonders if before today, he did not want a long life? South Hill leader ask him about the dark energy in his body, and continues to try to get Li ChenLan to take his condition seriously. North Hill leader, planning to use the Captain as a pawn in his plan, tells her that there are two Zhi Yan's, in Cleanse Dust Pavilion. Zhi Yan and Zhao Yao have a heart to heart. Zhi Yan is disappointed in herself for not cherishing her father or CangLing when they were still around. Zhi Yan can tell that Li ChenLan treats Zhao Yao differently and believes his feelings for her are sincere. She tells Zhao Yao she must promise her to start cherishing Li ChenLan.
