Very cute love story
I loved the story and Tong Nian and Han Shangyan are so cute together. Although there were times that I felt like they really did not show more of Tong Nian's intelligence and all, I'm quite satisfied with the outcome and I really need a third season with the original casts because the acting and the story was much better than the second one (don't mean to offend the season 2 cast ok) but yeah, and I need more of Yaya and Xiao Mi's love story. They are just sooo adorable.Overall, I do recommend this story for y'all. AAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Cast and Acting
The ML and FL had good chemistry and I looked forward to their moments together. This is a lighthearted, fluffy romance and there wasn't any annoying love triangles. Man do I hate love triangles. Yang Zi did a good job acting the naive girl who pursued her love. There wasn't any stupid misunderstandings between the two leads and even when they had a few troubles in between they resolved it quickly. I liked the fact we didn't have to wait till the very end to see them together.
Plot
The story is about the ML tragic past and his vision for the present while he falls in love. This wasn't a bad vs good story. The ending was a bit abrupt for my liking tho. The pacing was good throughout.
Custume
Only Yang Zi could have pulled off the somewhat weird clothes she wore in this drama. It just highlighted the fact she was an eccentric genius. I liked how the ML initially wore only black clothing and the FL wore bright cheerful clothing. I think this style portrayed their personalities. The two extremes
OST/Songs
I really loved the intro and the extro OST and everything in between. Both Yang Zi and the ML can sing IRL and so it was a pity that when they sang in the drama it was a soundtrack. Okay that sounds confusing but what I'm trying to say is when the leads had to sing in the drama it didn't sound natural and I hated that about the drama.
Overall this is a fluffy drama that I will definitely watch again.

Firstly i kinda lazy to watch it, but every time i search for Chinese drama this always comes up as a recommendation. But finally never regret watch it & re-watch it again and again. This one of the Chinese drama that I love to re-watch it again and again. The cute tong nian (TN) and the cool han shang yan (HSY) firstly kinda not really suitable, but in the end they kinda completed each other. This kind Love At First Sight we always dream to be our reality that i think attract most us to the story. Their awkwardness in the beginning until their sweet attitude with each other really drawn me to them.
In the review there is someone write about not bring the TN intelligent forward, but for me when TN can understand what HSY play about it show the intelligent of TN because i really have no idea what they playing about... -_- But yeah a little agreed there because I actually kinda expect TN to be join the team in the end when the say they need new blood to the team.
This drama can make me smile to myself when see the behavior of TN when she so happy and so fall in love... So childish, but also so cute...
My most fav scene when TN drunk, especially when she answer her mom call. I can't stop laughing.... :D My fav song is bread and butter so easy to listen. :3

Must Must Watch
This drama was amazing. Though I am writing thr review now but this was the very first C-drama I've started with when I was a mere beginner. Give this to me and I can watch over and over again.The cast was amazing :
• Yang Zi gave her all in this drama. She being an adult played the role of an 18 year old perfectly. The bubbliness, her emotions and expressions, her way of talking and smiling everything was damn perfect.
• Li Xian played his role to a great extent. He looks like a cold-hearted, emotionless human being on this earth, just focusing on his gaming world and aimed just for winning and ignores LOVE, stuck with the past. But gradually everything changes, though slowly, after FL comes to his life.
•The Teams and team members. In one word they're just hilarious and their bond is perfect. Though everyone had their own flaws, difference in age and experience, different family backgrounds, they were stuck together with a binding force.
• Family members. They were all awesome too. The parents of the FL shows that how parents should be, though the mother of the FL was too protective(I am not comolaining cause generally parents are like that, overprotective for their children so that they may not face any danger). The step-mom amd the grandpa of the ML were fabulous in a word. I understood the meaning of family support from these 2 characters.
•Friends in this drama were a backing up the Best frind of the FL showed that girls can have a good bonding too rather than jealousy. The friends of the ML showed that even though we have differences among oureswlves, we must solce it quickly as possible and also giving good ideas and directions for relationships, dates etc etc.
I loved the OSTs.
I loved the graphics.
I actually loved the whole withput any discrimination.
And I can watch it over and over though I have watched it for over 6 times.

I loved this one! I am a fan of gaming dramas and i love that each one of them is similar in their theme yet so different in their approach. The lead pair is really dynamic especially the actress. Yang Zi is sweet and her character's resolve to be with Li Xian's character in spite of him being mean to her is remarkable. Apart from the romance, the thread of friendship and betrayal is beautifully woven. The lead actor portrays this cold aloof man who eventually succumbs to the heroine, very effectively. We as an audience feel her helplessness at times. I wish they would have focussed a bit more on her singing career too. Wu Bai portrayed as the cousin was pretty good too.
This is one drama where the number of episodes didn't matter and I would have liked this one to go on and on. Kudos to the team.

This drama is super sweet
I think one of the best c drama I have ever seen.... I've already rewatched it about 50 times without skipping. Many people are commenting about Yang zi's dresses in the show but I don't think it matters. However she's dressing but the character was mature enough I'm well satisfied. The show was both sweet and funny. Best rom com I've ever seen. Cast was fabulous and ost's are very nice you'll definitely get addicted to the ost's after watching this drama. Li Xian did a great work,their chemistry is fabulous in this drama,other crew members were also very good. This is a must watch drama I highly recommend you if you like romcom dramas. Simply Spectacular
In all honesty, I was too hesitant to watch it. Well, one is because it's too long (thanks to it's 41 episodes). And I think it's annoying having a girl stalk a guy she just met once.But since the pandemic hit and I got nothing to watch, I said, hey, why not give it a chance.
And I watched it.
And, funny thing is, I can't just stop. They only time I leave my phone is why I need to take a leak, eat or when I need to force myself to sleep. Cause I just find it really adorable.
I like how Tongnian, the female lead is not the stupid type who runs after her crush. She is popular, talented and has 2 majors. She is a computer geek.
I like how Han Shangyan is not extremely mega popular rich guy. He is popular, if you are into CTF. His rich but not the ones in the usual CEO drama characters.
I love the relationship between him and K&K babies
I also like how they show his past with the Team Solo.
I also like their is no extreme fangirls. (Just one), No dragging exes. It's just really them.
I like how innocent Han Shangyan character is. Like how he would consult Grunt for love advised. How he is mean to Demo to sharpen him. How he simply cares for the people around him despite his cold facade.
He is mean yes, but not the type who is into violence.
I love DT and AppleDogs side story. That few scenes would make you want for more.
How Solo's Team and K&K are still friendly with each other.
Little Mi and Yaya's love story progress from a childhood fan into a potential romance.
The OST is also incredible.
It's worth watching and squeal worthy.
And I agree to why it had high ratings. 41 eps is truly worth it.

Very good series
This series is about 2 people falling in love, and has little to do with esports.The main characters are all very interesting. This is a very character driven show, with many interesting character moments. Which had me laughing out loud many times.
The ML and FL did a great job together.
The ML only had winning the championship on his mind, and that was it. He had no interest with women.
The FL falls in love with him at first sight.
Honestly, I watched the first episode, and didn't like it. I didn't like the ML. He's very antisocial, and wasn't really a fan of the FL lead either, because she seemed so young, and she was a bit cringe.
The ML looks much older than the FL, and in the series, they are supposedly 10 years apart from each other, but in real life, she's like 26, and he's 27, only 1 year apart. The FL really does a great job at looking, and acting young.
The FL apparently is highly intelligent, and is working on her Phd. in A. I. You would think that her skills in this, and the few programs she makes would be important, but they aren't, and if you blink, you'll miss them. Nothing at all comes from them.
The FL isn't part of the esport team. She is just the love interest of the ML.
I took a break from the show after the first episode, that's how much I didn't like it, and watched something else, then I came back to it, and watch episode 2, which completely sold me on the series, it was good.
The relationship between the ML and FL is basically the whole point of the series, and it's done very well. Everything was done well, and didn't really feel the need to skip anything.
The one issue I found fault with is the reason the ML had a fight with his team captain, and retired. I figured the captain cheated to win or something, because of how the ML reacted, and maybe he did, and they changed the reason later, I don't know. Though the ML is/was very antisocial, and I guess that might explain his overreaction. Not sure why the captain couldn't have had his family watch his kid, instead of retiring to take care of it. So, for me, this part of the story is a bit weak, but it's also not overly important to the show, because the esports in the series, and like background noise, for the building of the relationship between the ML and FL. So this negative, really doesn't matter to me.
There is some good music in this show as well.
And the show does end with a happy ending!
This a very good show, the 2 main characters do a great job falling in love. Sort of like Beauty and the Beast.
Episode 2 is where the show really starts to get interesting, episode 1 doesn't really do much. I'll have to watch episode 1 again to see if I like it better, now that I like the characters. :)
They build a pretty good world in this series, and it's a shame that it has to end. Oh, and the episodes went so fast. I kept coming to the end of a episode and saying, it's over already! :)

BUT, after that flag-waving rarara start, The PPL (propaganda placement) was dialed right back, the story settled down, and go on with the important business of delivering a sweet, cute romantic Drama. The OTP sold the conventional story very well, and the supporting characters were great. Especially Niannian's BFFs, both of whom were adorable (and easy on the eyes) . Also a BIG shoutout for having the FEMALE lead being openly and repeatedly described and acknowledged as a genius. As I close in on three hundred K Dramas started, I am STILL waiting to see one where the female lead was the intellectual superior of the male, and where he was happy to acknowledge that
Most C Dramas I've tried have been underwhelming for me, but this one was a delight.

This drama deserves all the stars.
This drama has a very inspiring and cute storyline. We see a grumpy man turn into a happy loving person because of a girl that makes his world go round. The songs in this drama are also so addicting. I have never skipped the intro!! I highly recommend this drama if you want a cheesy romance with alot of bromance and teamwork. We see alot of character development as well with han hangyanThe only cons about this drama which are, the fact THAT IT ENDED!!!
So in conclusion I give this drama a 9. And the only reason it is NOT a 10 is because I didn't really like tong nian that much ???

Totally Recommend for Everyone!
Story - 9/10: I thought it was paced pretty well, slow at times but bearable. Thought the drama, I loved to see how the main guy lead slowly let down his guard and let a bright girl in his life. I think both of the character's personalities fit really well together. I think the girl lead is too naive and innocent at times so I guess it sometimes made me frustrated. I feel like with this type of series, you shouldn't binge the whole thing through. I had a hard time trying to fit multiple episodes a day because it was long and dense. Instead, I took many breaks and slowed down my pace and it really helped me enjoy this drama.Acting/Cast - 9/10: This is my first time watching a drama that these actors had play in. I am incredibly in love with the person that played Demo. He became my favorite character and I applaud him for winning so many people's heart <3 I couldn't get over the drama after I finished so I ended up watching the behind the scenes videos and all the casts were having fun with each other and they displayed great chemistry off camera as well.
Music - 10/10: The music was great. I feel like it might've been the best part. It really provided a great experience with watching the series. My favorite has to be the opening song. It was completely captivating. When I went onto Youtube, the song popped up on my recommended with the main guys from the CTF K&K team. They all sang the opening song and I got goosebumps all over.
Rewatch - 7.5/10: It is too long to rewatch the whole thing again. I feel like if I watched it a second time, the same feelings that I watched it the first time would be gone. I don't want to get sick of this so I'll just leave it sweetly in my memories. If I miss this a lot then I'd just watch clips or I'd skip a lot of scenes.
It was exceptionally well done and it was my first Chinese e-sport drama. I know there are many others and I'm looking forward to watching more within this category. Lastly, there is one thing that I absolutely have to complain about. The main female lead's clothing is horrendous. I understand that she had to wear bright colored clothing to contrast with the black color clothing for the main guy lead but the style is NOT it. The stylist did a terrible job. I cringed every time I saw her outfit. If you could ignore that part, it would be a good watching experience for you.
