Reviews
The fist half of the movie is very intriguing even though it's a bit slow. It makes you curious about what we happen next and you have no idea what the heck is going on. And then there's the second half which was a bit too rushed in my opinion. The twist was good, yes, but it's not like you couldn't smell that something is fishy. They still connected the dots quite well and the ending was overall good.
The acting was decent for sure. Kim Sang Kyung definitely has his own way of portraying his characters which is nice to see. Kim Kang Woo is definitely an eye-candy and he's simply a pleasure to watch.
Overall, I wouldn't say this movie is a must-watch, but I enjoyed watching it and would recommend it if you're looking for something to pass time. But yeah, know that the premise is a bit misleading.

Misleading poster -
I basically watch some movies if the poster is interesting. ...and so did I end up watching this ,,,,,,it was quite misleading as the protagonist was not the actress but the actor.....and to my surprise it was my fav star KIM KANG WOO....heart eyessKim Sang-kyung and Kim Kang-woo acquit themselves well in their respective roles but it is Kim Hee-ae as Yoon Seol-hee, the deceived wife whose love for her husband will eventually result in her death, who stands out even though her role is limited. Kim brings a pathos to the role, that was missing from her equivalent in the original film, and is therefore an empathetic character – indeed perhaps the only one in the film.
“The Vanished” is a more than proficient directorial debut marking Director Lee out as someone to watch for in the future.
Actress says more with the swish of a wine glass than either of her co-stars do with multiple monologues.....No role for her
