THE BEST CHARACTER IN THIS MOVIE WAS KIKO! SO UTTERLY INNOCENT AND ADORABLE!

I have had my share of movies starring the famous couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. This movie was not bad at all,but very much lovely and fun actually. We follow the rebellious main character Jackie who against her will gets taken to a village to volunteer on a medical mission in Tarlac. To her dismay, a place without any electricity and internet connection. But her cynical point of view slowly changes when she gets to know the bright and golden-hearted Kiko who also lives a unfortunate life but chooses to love instead of giving in to anger all the time. From teasing and bickering with each other, they fall completely in love. I love how Kathryn portrayed the troubled Jackie.Such a strong character, but very much vulnerable. It is so easy to be so much consumed by pain that you eventually do crazy stuff just to numb it out.You end up being so selfish and self-absorbed that you forget all the life and people around you.Kiko was right to point that out to her,and showed her an example of the poor life families have around the village. Kathryn could see the life Kiko lived. His own mother can`t even make herself to take care of him and his younger siblings, leaving all the responsibility on his shoulders while she parties away and gambles with her boyfriends. He has a rich father with his own family who never treats him more like a employer than a son.Kiko never asks from anything in return, but he does not want to cut ties with them because he considers them his family and he loves them no matter what even if they don`t appreciate him.My heart cried out for Kiko, his golden heart just made me swoon!I love the early scene where Jackie seduces him just to steal the keys from him and he tells her he is a virgin, lol!

Light and fluffy classic rom com

This movie is one of those movies you watch just because you can not decide on what to watch next, a classic in between dramas cleanser as it does not have a lot of substance to offer but does offer fluff, at times bad comedy and few decent messages hidden in-between the meeh ones.

Crazy: I do not really get the "crazy" part of the drama, Jackie is not crazy, she is rather hurt, and in need of just about anyone to help her look beyond herself. So self centred yes, crazy nope... Or maybe it is the people around Kyko that are crazy as they seem to take advantage of this overly kind soul without a single thought about how he might feel.

Beautiful - Well there is a lot of beauty here, scenery, looks, gazes, relationships... all very beautiful indeed

You- Well there are both mes, I, is and yous so I guess this part makes sense.

There is one part in this movie that they portray really well, which is how people with privilege take their privilege for granted and act like they are all superior for giving bread crumbs to those in need while attaching a whole bunch of untold strings and well lets face it giving while taking advantage of the less fortunate... It also shows how hard it is for the person in disadvantage to rise up and stand up for them selfs, which could have given this movie a bunch of extra points had it not been for the rest of it which over simplifies things and has some low humour.... etc.

An ok watch, not a movie I recommend to all but not one I discourage others to watch either. as it did indeed keep my interest and though it made me cringe here and there it did keep me entertained.
