Ive seen a lot of people complaining about how weak the story and execution of this series is and how the series has many unexplained plot holes. For me, however, that is the strength of this show - that it doesnt feel the need to explain everything in detail. If you watch the series you still have a complete sense of the plot and scenes doesnt feel overextended. Its just a light hearted romance story - just like how i want it.

Frank's and Drake's acting can be amateurish, but is also refreshing - its just like watching real people in real life situation and are not overacting, besides, the two of them being cute together is enough for me to stick with the show. I also liked the fact that no one in the whole cast is annoying.

Id reccommend it if you are a BL and romance story fans. Just enjoy the show. Would i rewatch it - yes, ive become a FrankDrake shipper!

I was contemplating whether or not to watch this series as I had some free time and I love binging series. There were a lot of conflicting reviews but I went in anyways. If you're reading a bad review, take it with a grain of salt. This isn't necessarily an amazing BL or one full of drama and action or gimmicks like other BLs. It's a lot more subdued, kind of gave me My Dream the series vibes. It's a quiet BL and none of the characters feel fake. It's all real, except a few plot points that do feel weird like Mork's illness. I think the main conflict of having someone opposed to their relationship is a little easier to understand since they are younger than a lot of other BL characters. College students or ones already in their workforce make it hard to see them as afraid of their parents. I have to say I wasn't invested as much in Mork and Tee as I was with Morn and Gord. That was a surprising couple that honestly made me smile the whole time even if it never went too far. I was originally going to give this a 7 because that's what I gave Sotus which was good but I didn't particularly like Kongpop and Arthit as a couple. With this I thought the show lacked a bit but Mork and Tee were well performed and likeable so I think this deserves an 8. Give it a try.

Storywise, this series had a lot of holes. Things kept happening without explanation and the story line is confusing. Many scenes are pointless and the more you watch, the faster it’s going downhill. I tried giving it chance but since I started it and invested time watching the first few eps, I decided to finish it.

Acting. So-so. You can clearly tell that they don’t have much experience since they act so scripted/directed and not natural. But it’s still okay and tolerable.

Music. The ost is good and memorable even if I can’t understand Thai.

Production. I think this series has a low cost production and it shows. TeeMork and GordMorn have so much potential. They deserve better storyline and production.

I think the reason I watched this is because I don’t have so much option when it comes to BL series. I’m a sucker for BL series. Most likely I will not watch this again.

It's very hard to write this review because these show started out incredibly unique and strong and also managed to end very well, way above your usual BL or drama in general, including Western. Yet, the back half of the season before the final two episodes are some of the most poorly written and edited episodes I've ever seen, that leave you wondering why are you still even watching this.

The reason why I kept watching it is because the leads, Drake and Frank, are highly charismatic actors with the most adorable chemistry. Their interactions are not too sexual - this entire series features two very tame kisses - but they have a tender bond that is explored in every single episode. If what you want to watch is a very romantic BL, this fits the bill nicely.

What is bad about it is the writing. The original premise makes no sense and it's soon dropped. Which is fine, because for the first 5 or 6 episodes they delve into how a boy can realise his true sexuality and fall in love in a very grounded way, including the consequences you might face. I don't think any other BL has done this that well. However, as they run out of that storyline and need contrivances to keep going, this series will introduce huge plot points every episode to cause drama, never really explore or explain them, completely drop them or mention them in passing several episodes later. It feels half of the story is happening off screen and is only mentioned in passing while on screen the characters are doing the most mundane things ever for no reason. All characters that are not the two leads are underwritten and underserved, half of the time you don't really know what is going on and when you do, it doesn't matter. The characters will simply ignore those plot points and the story will go on. When you almost lose all hope, they tie most of them in the last two episodes, which have a very satisfying ending, but, that is very real-life. Even though it won't have a season two according to the book author, you could see the story has many interesting places to go. Which, again, begs the question, why doesn't it go there in *this season*.

The music is great. The sound is poor, though, and a few scenes you can't barely hear the actors. Production values started out OK and, by the end, it seems they were out of budget.

Would I rewatch this? Yes... Episodes 1-6, 11-12. I would not watch 7-10 and, quite frankly, you don't even have to. They add nothing but confusion.

At last, less cheesy Thai's BL Series!

At first i didn't really interested to watch this series when my boyfriend suggested it. And when i watched the trailer i was like, "okay, i guess it's another chessy Thai BL drama series". But then after i watched the entire series, well, it's beyond my expectation. I know there are still cheesy parts, and quite many plot holes, a little awkward acting in the first 2 or 3 episodes, and i guess the writing is the big flaw in this series. But then, the main actors, Drake and Frank, really give this series a HUGE help. They developed the chemistry quite well, from awakward to (look like) a real couple. And i didn't expect the story was going more complex that i expected, it's not just about being gay and being afraid of getting caught, but it's about fighting for your love, and life. Well, at least this series can give a spirit to young gay to discover themselves, and what they really need.

At first i want to say, dont think any negative about this series, the so called "most helpfull" review here literally mock the series cause things that he cant understand, he's not even watch the entire series! I will talk about whats the most disliked about this series.

The Story:
As we know the series based on Original Novel by CaffeineDekD, we got a cute Mork and a handsome Tee as our main couple, as their cute hearted story play, people began to question "what is happening before?" "Why he do that?" Etch, etch, ok let me tell you smart people, wait the story to explain itself, in the official account people in the comment just complain about the uncovered story instead of waiting the explanation, dude just wait... they will not end a story with uncovered plot holes going on! The story is not a mess! You just cant wait for the explanation and just review "this story is a mess" arrgg no....
So in overall, as when you watch the series you might stumbled upon question you didnt understand, but be patient, the story will explain itself, i highly recommended you not go to the comment section, its trash anyway, full of people who cant wait patiently for the explanation.
If you didnt read the original book and just watch the series, you might need high power of thinking to fully understand all the tiny details, its not very important though, its not like you cant follow the story at all, its okay, if you still want to know, just search in google "cause youre my boy amino" theres someone who read the book writing the full explanation.

The Plot:
I highly recommended this series for people who like a soft-hearted, warm, cute stories kind of BL, the plot maybe ordinary to some people but we look for the cuteness of the couple cause its a very cute BL more importantly theres NO ex-girlfriend standing on the couples way here, instead we got lesbian couple here hehe, its rare you know.

The Development:
Something else people complain is, lazy scriptwriting and editing, yes i admit, maybe its true, the story didnt fully explain all tiny details, like in the book, maybe they forcing us to buy the novel in order to fully understand it, the early episode i can assure you would dragged to the world of cuteness by these actors, the story is very warm here and not many people complain, literally no problem in the story, just the couple live their life and trying to get each other attention, but when its come to the drama, there we have all the complain, i was thinking maybe they run out of budged at when the all-drama episode start, the quality is not as good as the early episode.

The Actors:
Oooh yes... its hard to find asian BL actors with face like Mork! These couple are very handsome! Even the side couples are very cute! Not only that, their chemistry are way so good, so natural, their acting was so stunning, maybe not perfect, they are all rookie, but you will feel the cuteness struck your heart as soon as you see the couples together! But what i really impressed about is how they chemistry build up so good in this series, not like any other BL, their chemistry remind me of Gu Hai & Bai Luo Yin from Addicted.

Music:
All complaining people have 2 things they like, actors, and the soundtrack, i admit i have a goosebump in some scene where their beautiful guitar soundtrack plays, the guitar play just so... soft, and warm, its so good, they put the soundtrack to the most suitable moment! I tried to find the soundtrack but i cant find it, damn it was so good.
The opening also very suit the show, sweet, energetic, i feel youth in all over the opening.

Overall:
This show is not a mess at all, you just need to think carefully to understand the plot, this is by far the most cutest BL i ever watch, and cutest couples too, i highly recommend the series to watch!

Decent BL series for passing the Time.

After watching more than 15 Thai BLs, I think I can differentiate it from other series and can give my most honest review on this.
Very First, This series had POTENTIAL to be Superhit like Make It Right, LoveSick, My Bromance, Love By Chance etc but it couldnt utilize its powers and pretty gone unsuccessful.
The main reason it sank is that it lacked in 'Developement in Plot' and 'describing situations of Past and Present of personal lives of Main Characters' which starts to make Confusions.
Hopes were very high from this series ( and still are as we can find still a decent fanbase)
The series made a good kickstart but crashed for me after 4th episode that made me literally to discontinue to watch it but as a Drama Fan, once I choose anything to see, I complete it anyhow. Therefore as a relaxation statement, I can say it was not Worst as last few episodes, after 9th episode soecifically, they shown how much potential they had but failed everytime to use it properly.
I felt characters like Ching, Lek etc were useless ( unless they use them in S2?)
I havent read novel but I think it was popular and was clearly written which made it successful. On this side, series was following a blur straight path where at every point they could improvise it but they didnt. They left twists and added twists which made storyline more complex.
As a Plus Point, As every Thai BL, it had delightful dish of music, some goodlooking actors and their Chemistry and sets were so natural (residentials of characters). Story had literally main power to garner this as one of best BLs as it involved parent children relations but nevermind. I hope they will make season 2 and improvise it's all cons side.
Anyways, welcome MorkTee and GordMorn to my Shipping World! If you wanna spend time and dont have any superb up to mark series, this series isnt bad to watch. :)

This is an okay series. It could have been really terrific, but there are far too many holes in the plot, as well as a number of dull scenes that really don't go anywhere.

I am watching this to the end for one reason: Drake Laedeke, the actor who plays Mork. For me, he's the best actor by far, plus, he's cute, built and has a smile that could melt butter.

The actors who play Mork's father and Tee's grandmother are really good, too. As a character, Tee seems a bit boring, so it's hard to get all that invested in Mork and Tee as a couple. Tee's mother is just a psycho... and a hypocrite.

As there is only one episode left, I will watch to the end. I hope the final episode makes sense of everything.

Drake's Eyebrows get Bushier Every Episode

What can I say? I truly loved this series with everything in me. It had such a good balance between being humorous and still teaching important life lessons. Mork and Tee had one of the most realistic depictions of teens falling in love because of how awkward, and confusing, and a complicated mess their journey was. I loved how we got to see their relationship slowly progress into something more, with a cute date, and the small gestures that they both made; it all just came together so well in the end, I truly can't forget about it.

Almost immediately fell in love with Morn, and fell even deeper when Gord came into the picture. They were still in middle school, so I was glad that nothing was rushed, and the development between them was so flawless. Even though they didn't get together, they still made such an impact on me personally. The innocence of them, the clumsiness, the reactions to certain things, I just love young love with all my heart. By far, my favorite scene in the entire series is when they're in bed watching Sotus and Kong and Archit kiss and they both get flustered. It was so precious that I literally watched it over and over again. I would've loved to see even more of them in this series, or maybe even another one when they're older. I know both of them are in A Fish Upon The Sky, but from what I can tell, they are not going to be partners and instead just best friends. Sad.

Au and Ton were a really good touch to the series. I absolutely adore the twins and think that they deserve main roles. The same goes for Khaotung, I love the way he played his character specifically. Nui who played Mork's dad did an amazing job, and I loved the way he developed throughout the series.

I have nothing bad to say about this show. I know a lot of others thought the pacing was slow, which I can agree that in certain spots it did feel a bit dragged on, but for the most part, I was captured by all of the stories. This was a fun watch and I recommend it for anyone wanting a true depiction of a new relationship.

Very good one

I read negatives previus reviews and i am quite surprise by thoses. After having watch about 30 BL movies or series, i can say that for a BL high school series, it's a very very good one. The acting is superb, what others criticize as a confused story line is the sort we can follow in true life, things happen, good or bad ones, one after the other ... even lucky hasard. A lot happen, the intrigue is rich but it's not confused. The atmosphere of the story is very unique, romantic and intense and not frustrating at all (compare to other no sexe bl series like Together 1 season). This production is original and deals with themes others bl series don't treat, like loving someone but taking time for accepting his body. There is no stupid cliché like "top and bottom", no guitare courses lol, no jealous girls squad. Drake and Frank composed very sensitive and credible characters who just try to slalom with social exigences and the truth of their heart. It's very sweet and interesting. Give it a try !

I'm just confused about the story

I have to say, I really liked the actors and the music was good too,
but what was this story? I didn't got it.. like anything. Just putting things randomly together.
I really wanted to watch the series because of the actors, but I wouldn't choose it if I just had knew about the "story"
Even their story in "Our Skyy" was better than this 12 episodes!
How we german would say it "Schmutz!"
I'm really dissapointed in the story, I'm sad about to say this.
I watched it with my friend and even both of our brains didn't got the story.

I have trouble trying to get through a lot of these BL series and have only watched a few from start to finish. In most the screeching girls and silly sound effects get me to turn it off pretty quick. I also find the lack of passion and awkward sex(less) scenes take away a lot from the stories. I don’t know if that’s a cultural thing, Asian teens are more modest or because of their target audience they try to keep things very innocent, but these series would be a lot better if they took a cue from shows like Skam and Merli.

I found the characters very likable and I thought for a group of young actors without lots of experience they did a really good job. I thought Mork’s dad was also a good character, I liked a lot of the interactions with him and his boys. The barber shop brought a welcome change to not being all about school too.

There were some rough spots in the plot, but face it, these really aren’t something to watch if you are looking for deep plots, I like to think of them more as Spaghetti Westerns with cute Thai boys, something fun to watch on a rainy weekend.

Overall, I think this is one of the better BL series I have seen, I hope these characters/actors do some more series in the future, I would like to see more of them. I’d recommmend it to any BL fans. Thumbs Up from me!
