Similar feel, both take place before and during WW2, both are about family connections and the lives of citizens during war. One is a movie and one is a drama. Boku ga Warau to is brighter

En ambos dramas pondremos disfrutar del viaje de vida de nuestros protagonistas, y veremos desde las perspectivas de los ciudadanos japoneses como vivieron las guerras. Tenno no Ryoriba es una historia basada en hechos reales, así que veremos a Japón en diferente, épocas mientras el protagonista va creciendo como persona, de igual manera podremos observar la discriminación que pasaron los japoneses fuera de japón durante la guerra.

En esta historia nuestro protagonista anda buscando algo en lo que ser bueno, es el dolor de cabeza de sus padres, pero una vez que conoce la cocina no la dejará hasta que se vuelva el mejor chef.
