Kikuchi Makoto is the only daughter of the grocer on the shopping street in front of the train station. She has gained popularity for her eloquence in explaining fruits and vegetables while standing in front of the shop. However, she does not know what she should do after graduating from high school and has been agonising over it. Makoto has no experience or knowledge of voice acting but one day, she is scouted by Oshima Yuichiro, the manager of a talent agency called Ihara Office, and plunges into the world of voice acting without really thinking about it. When she goes to the recording studio, other aspiring voice actresses Kuriyama Asami, Inaba Ren, Morimoto Konatsu and Ochiai Ryoko scouted by Oshima are there. They immediately take a voice test tailored to the anime series "HappinessCharge Precure!" Makoto sets her sights on becoming a professional voice actor as she lives with her four rivals. Reviews
There were scenes that were funny and made me laugh out loud too.
Acting/ Cast/Characters:
I enjoyed drama showing how girls deal with their problems. How they help each other. Chemistry between them were good too.
Music:
OST was nice. I liked that the actresses sang the ending song together.
Notes
This drama is for those days when you you are bored or lazy and it will light up your mood.
Koe Girl almost seems autobiographical. Haruka started as a 5yr. old actress before starting on TV as Mine Chan in I! My! Mine! Cooking Idol. She then did the voice when the series animated. She appeared in the 20th Anniversary special of Sailor Moon for MTV. She danced and sang the Princess Moon piece. You can find clips of her voicing the songs for the Cooking Idol series and many appearances doing her Nameko song/dance for her adoring children fans. As in Koe, she connects well with kids . I bought a copy of the KiraKiraPreCure production and treasure it.
