Am I Too Smart or Are They Too Dumb?

*SPOILER ALERT* I first picked up this drama because I was on a withdrawal after finishing The Untamed. I was attracted to this show mostly because everyone is so pretty in this drama, from the main leads to the supporting roles. I got even more intrigued when I saw trailers that showcase amazing fighting scenes involving the heroine. However, today, now that I'm at episode 8, I'm kinda questioning my choice. Yes, the casts are amazing, and the cinematography is so gorgeous but those two aspects couldn't hide one glaring weakness in the drama : the lack of common sense. The heroine wasn't weak but she did lots of things that made me question her IQ in this particular episode. For example, her supposedly smart decision to infiltrate the Yu's family mansion secretively. - I'm not sure that she even thought of the plan at all before putting her idea to action. She pretty much flaunted her lil 'investigation' in front of the household by first not hiding her identity at all (girl, grab a mask or sth), Next, she went from room to room, entering the secret room without precaution as if she owned it (she acted as if previously she had memorized the map to the place when the truth is she knew nothing bout the place and was just going by her instinct - an instinct that I don't trust at all). It wouldn't have been that bad if she didn't again and again expressed her confidence that she would be able to finish her mission though. Amazing how she could forget the fact that just in last episode she was in a near death situatuon, for no other reason than she never use her head properly before she does anything. She was so quick to accept death instead of spending at least a few minutes on figuring out how to escape the situation. The prince wasn't much of a help too. Being dubbed as a talent, he was rather meh to me. The fact that he was lovesick couldn't excuse the fact that he was pretty much too self centered sometimes to see what's going on around him. I have yet to be impressed by the way he handled thing and I'm not that excited to spend more time and convincing myself that those two are worth my time so I'm gonna put this drama on hold for now. I could feel my IQ dropping as I watch this drama, trying to justify the characters' actions again and again. This is not healthy.
