Goyo: The Boy General (2018)

They are both set in the 1890s philippines and similar genre it being a period film/series. Both tackles serious themes with a compelling romance mix in the works. Any watchers who are thirsty for more period film or series set in philippines during the 1890s would love this.

This is an evident recommendation. Written and directed by Jerrold Tarog, these are both accounts of Philippine heroes during their time. Both are brilliantly made and I am looking forward for more of his work.
