Xiao Yi hits the assassin with his arrow, and to prove it is Fan Xian, he heads to his home quickly. He is surprised that Fan Xian has no wounds. The emperor is upset two of the grandmasters let two assassins go. Cheng Ping Ping confronts Wang Qi Nian about the assassins. Fan Xian and Wu Zhu open the box from Fan Xian’s mother and find two letters, one for each of them. She gives Fan Xian the option to learn more about his origin but warns him that he will be in more danger.

Just as the drama seemed to be just going from one plot twist to another, with the main character concentrating on the fight for power on one hand and trying to balance it to get a peaceful life with his loved one, we get this letter revealing the foundations of the world.

Oh my, g- so modern society froze?! I have so many questions , I really want to know how it happened but it's probably gonna be explored in the second season. But how cool is that?! Ancient China and sci-fi post apocalypse setting in a drama!
