The World Between Us Episode 3
Rift
SBC News reports that Ying Szu Tsung was a once-promising young director who has fallen from grace. Due to production delays and an ever-increasing budget, he was fired from the studio. Ying Szu Yueh is livid at Li Ta Chih for reporting inflammatory statements about her brother without fact-checking, questioning her journalistic integrity.
Wang She tells Ying Szu Yueh that he believes Ying Szu Tsung may be living with mental illness and encourages her to seek treatment for her brother. Meanwhile, Ting Mei Mei is furious at Wang She for defending Chen Chang, a man who killed two children at a local park in broad daylight. She thinks that Wang She values the life of a murderer over the victim’s family as well as his own.
Sung Chiao An is at her wit's end with her daughter, Liu Tien Ching, acting out. She calls her younger sister, Sung Chiao Ping, a social worker, for help. When Li Ta Chih returns home from work that night, she finds Ying Szu Tsung experiencing hallucinations while brandishing a knife and threatening to harm her and Ying Szu Yueh.
