I'll start this review by saying that I thought the story was very unique, and once the "Scheduler" was introduced I was completely hooked. The plot constantly revealed new twists, and elements that kept me interested even when some scenes felt like they were dragging. I was never quite sure what would happen next, which stopped me from giving up on this drama.

The cast also did a great job, and I was impressed by Lee Yo Won's range, and absolutely loved Jung Il Woo as the Scheduler. There were no weak links in the cast. I admit that Nam Gyu Ri did get on my nerves, but i think I was just annoyed by her character.

Though I would give the story, and acting high marks, and I even liked the soundtrack, I still have to give this drama an overall lower rating. My main issue with it was that it was soooo depressing. There's not much comic relief, and even romantic scenes always seemed to have a cloud of impending doom. It did make me reflect about life, but more so it made me depressed. The story centers around issues of betrayal, and grief, which aren't exactly happy topics. If you cry easily make sure you have a huge supply of tissue nearby as you watch this.

49 Days simply didn't give me the addicted "I gotta watch" feeling that I usually get from kdrama. I knew I wouldn't miss any characters once it was all over. I can't think of any memorable scenes, or moments that I would want to watch again. I watched all 20 episodes because I wanted to see how it would end, and once it ended I was satisfied, and ready to move on.

Well. I've started watching this drama because I didn't know what to watch anymore and this seemed entertaining to me.

The story of this drama isn't original (I got kind of tired of all the story in the middle because it started to be very sloooooow) but it remains a point that i liked to most is the system of "tears" that she needs to get. I was wondering myself if so much people who cry for me. Hopefully, it's okay. Haha. The Shinigami like concept was again present but seriously, that shinigami was...
If I gave a 9 in overall it's all because of the end. But I will let you discover it ;)

Acting was really good. Not only because Jung Il Woo is seriously hot but because all the actors were really good actors. I was really impressed by Nam Gyu Ri because I didn't really liked how she acted in others dramas but there... I was touched. I really can say all actors were good.

As for the music, it was really good !! I couldn't help myself than continue listen to the OST even if the drama was finished long time ago. (It's okay, i'm cured by now haha)

The rewatch value is 6 because watching once let you all the feelings but after I really don't think you will sense the same things. Especially that the end is really unexpected (at least it was for me).

After watching so many Korean dramas, I might say that this is so worthy to watch.
The characters are so good in portraying their roles, the emotion that they show was all conveyed well.
Great story line.
My fave characters were Song Yi Soo and Song Yi Kyung. I mean Scheduler is my main reason why i watched this. But after a single episode of this, i got hooked.
i cried, laugh, think of what will happens on the episode, and sometimes my heart can't fathom a single word after watching it.
And now i'm rewatching it all over again as if this is my first time to see this,..it has the same effect..my heart beats faster than the usual..

hope that everybody will feel the same

This drama is one of my absolute favorites. The storyline is just amazing. I was never bored throughout this whole drama! It was very addicting, and you just want to keep watching. All the cast were very well chosen, and the acting was spectacular. I cried many times throughout this drama, and was constantly surprised. This storyline is very different than regular dramas, and doesn't have a sugar sweet ending in which some will like, and some will not(like me). The music is great and I still listen to it after I finished the drama.
Definitely worth watching!

This is my first review so it may be lacking.
First, to start off, this drama is all about friendship, trust, betrayal and love. It is a very heartfelt drama and I feel like I have never cried so much. At the same time, the first few episodes is where the humour is. After a couple more episodes, everything starts to get serious and that's where the waterworks come in.
I'll admit that the ending was pretty sad but that doesn't mean that it wasn't good. It's one of those dramas that are very deep. I especially loved the character development but I won't spoil what happens so you'll have to watch to find out what happens.
I usually hate sad endings but this drama was so good that I couldn't help watching. Its full of twists and turns and it kept me hooked up until the very last second. Every episode ends with a surprise and it makes you want to see what happens next.
I would totally recommend you see this drama because you really won't regret it.

I was debating whether or not this was a good story. I felt that it was slow in the beginning but I guess that we needed to find out more about the characters. As the drama progressed you got into the the story more and more. The one major thing that bothered me was the way it ended. Don't get me wrong, the ending was acceptable but I felt that it could have been a happier ending. Don't want to spoil it for everyone, so I won't mention what happened.

I started watching this drama because I saw online that it was good. And damn it is. Although most of the characters were new to me, they were amazing. The story catches you from the beginning to the very end. You just want to watch the next episode to know what's coming. In this drama I feel in love with Jung Il Woo , he is perfection in this. God do I cry with this drama. 100% recommendable (:

First of all I stayed up till 3am to finish this, this must show how crazy I was for this one!! @.@
Plot overall is WOW! Simply! I love the story line and the concept a lot. It shows exactly how are people behind your back, it was painful to watch too but its true nevertheless.
Acting overall was good, especially Jung Il Won's,Nam Gyu Ri's and Lee Yo Won's. I fell in love with Il Won's and Gyu Ri's characters, their bickering and the friendship was so sweet and funny =3
And the relationship between the characters was ok overall, I guess!!
Music was really good, no doubt about it. Tracks were sooooooo good especially 'There was nothing by Jung Yup, Scarecrow by Jung Il Won and Feneste Che Luciv by Oh Hyun Ran'
In simple words it was one of my most favorite Korean dramas ?????

I loved this drama, it's one of my favorites and I haven't watched another one has good as this one.
I adored the story, It was so well written that it blown my mind. The concept of death and ghosts was amazing and it was well explained.
The cast was amazing, and the acting was brilliant (I cried in pretty much every episode T_T), and one of my favorites characters ever will always be the Scheduler (Jung Il Woo did an amazing job, I cried and laugh with this amazing character). Lee Yo Won also did an amazing job, i just adored how her character evolved.
The romance was also very sweet, i liked how there were a few couples and how they were connected.
The ending made me cry a lot, and the all sister stuff was a bit "wtf?", but overall it was an amazing dramas that i recommend to everyone who hasn't seen it yet.

Get a box of tissues ready!

Story: I don't usually watch dramas like this (with the spirits and all) so that's why I skipped the parts where the spirits came out of people. That was kinda creepy. The plot was really good and original though. Get a box of tissues because it got me crying loads of tears over and over again! A truly touching masterpiece.

Acting/Cast: Simply amazing.

Rewatch Value: Hmm.. idk maybe. If I do rewatch, then I will skip through the spirit parts.

Overall: I recommend. It's a must watch.

Ive watched this for only two times and ill probably watch it again . Its such a meaningful story . you would think it would be dragged out just because its one of those mystery in a way story's . But everything came together beautifully . And it didn't have back to back drama either , which i really appreciated .After i got done watching the drama the first time i was in so much tears . The writers know how to make it really bright at times instead of making it all depressing .

I know it's weird that I gave only the best marks, but even that this drama is still only broadcasting, I love it.

I have seen many many dramas and the most of them don't have very good and impressive plot. But here we ca see many situations, and the main characters have change also. The acctors are really great and they have many experience and the really look naturaly.

I hope you will watch it and like it too.
