Although this drama has some illogical flaws here and there which might be confusing sometimes, it still is one of the best dramas I've watched so far (this is coming from a drama fanatic!). Not only the relationships between the different characters, but also the moral of the drama makes it even more interesting to watch. A drama filled with romance, suspense and many associations to the reality is not something one should miss out. :).
I still have 2 episodes to go and already am sad since it's going to end soon.
Well, I highly recommend this drama to all of you who are still considering watching this. Don't hesitate and trust me, you're NOT going to be dissappointed! ^_^

I don't know if you guys know this but the name of this drama is 49 days because for koreans it is a very important day after someone's death (for instance in my country is only 7 days). Which makes sense since after those 49 days it will be decided if Ji Hyun will live or not.
I don't give it a higher rate because I must admit I was expecting something else (like Ji Hyun ending up with Scheduler- the most amusing character I've ever seen) but after a while I accepted it and saw it through the end.
Even though I got really disappointed at the end because it lacked romance (in my opinion) and I think the writers sought a bigger drama than it was necessary ruining the ending for me.
I don't give it a high rewatch value (and I don't think I will ever re view it) but I don't regret seeing it cause it took me to others works of Jung Il Woo who I adore as an actor.

More like 49 hours because that's basically how long it took me to watch this.
This drama had been on my to watch list for so long because I had this feeling I'd be disappointed with it (don't blame me, I've been hurt before) but I decided to give it a shot anyways.
I'm so glad I did.
I don't usually write reviews because I'm not good with words but if this helps somebody pick this drama over another one then I've done my job as a fan.
The thing that stands out the most for me is the acting. Every single actor plays their role amazingly and makes you feel their pain or joy (but let's be real, mostly pain) as if it was your own.
Oh, let's not forget the chemistry all the leads have with each other. I mean what's up with that? Makes you crazy to decide which couple you want to end up together.
I also happen to love stories that don't have an obvious ending and this one was the real deal; you will encounter many plot twists and gasp-worthy moments along the way.
The music in this drama is beautiful, every song hits the right spot and I'm sure you'll be searching for it online once you've heard it.
The settings and overall appearance is great; beautiful locations, decent special effects and a very good looking cast.
If possible, try to watch this when there's nothing else on your schedule (ha!) because once you start it you won't be able to leave it alone.

Story: It started out with aplomb and almost immediately, I fell in love with the Scheduler's character. However, I can't say the same for the other characters. The IDEA of the story (of a woman in coma and having 49 days to gather tears whilst being "helped" along the way by a charasmatic scheduler) was great but disappointingly enough, it was not exploited to its potential. Somewhere in the middle, the drama lost its plot and that was when the dallying tactics were used. Thankfully, it picked up pace between episodes 13 and 14, went flat again until episode 17 and finished wonderfully at 20. While some may be disappointed with the ending, there are equally many who were more than satisfied with it. To me, it was a strong ending and exactly how I myself would have wrote it. It was unexpected but it delivered some form of "being at the end". Every character were given a closing chapter. Everyone was accounted for. The sereneness of the ending taught the viewers many lessons:- one of which is about reality, fate, life, death and love. In its own way, it is a happy ending for all.
Acting/Cast: Needless to say, Jung Il Woo did a brilliant job as the charasmatic Scheduler. We can all say for sure now that Lee Yo Won had the most beautifully sad face as the often depressed Song Yi Kyung. Jo Hyun Jae as Han Kang captured many hearts as he tried to make up for lost time and opportunities to express his hidden love for Ji Hyun. Nam Gyu Ri was able to express the naivety, mild characteredness and innocence of Shin Ji Hyun. All the actors and actresses did their best to portray the characters given to them. My biggest brownie points, however, went to Jung Il Woo for his protrayal of the Scheduler. It will be difficult for anyone to watch this drama without falling in love with his character.
Music: There were 3-4 music in the OSTs that were excellent and a few in there that were not exactly to my taste. I took into account the favourable opinions of others and my own "not-so-favourable" opinion before giving the music 8/10. All I can say is, it's personal taste. ;)
Rewatch value: If you are a person with lots of time on hand, you might rewatch this drama for the sake of passing time. I am a busy person and do not often rewatch dramas and taking this into account, I ranked the rewatch value at 6/10. I doubt I will ever rewatch this drama because of its length and the dallying in the middle, though I might choose certain episodes or parts that were interesting to view whenever I feel nostalgic of this drama. You can be sure that those scenes are the ones that involved the Scheduler! ;)
Overall: It is a worthy drama but unlike others who gushed on and on about how great it was and rated it at the same level as Secret Garden, I would actually rate this below Secret Garden and a few others that I felt were more worthy. The only memories of this drama I will take away were the character of the Scheduler and the poignant but wonderful ending. All in all, kudos to all the acting casts of 49 Days and all the best for the future. Fate willing, we will meet each other again...soon. :)

Overall it was good. But draggy and sloppy at times. For me it was just one time watch. P.S - Jung Il Woo fans would watch it over and over again as his acting was fine as heaven. Plus, the story's great too! :)

Great. This is the drama perfect for you. So, grab your tissue box and start to watch it. With an open mind.
Also possibly when you'll reach the 13th-15th episode, I recommend you to get some ice-cream, so you can suppress your feelings.
Anyway, even if I felt some missing points in the storytelling, I loved the cast and the production crew. Good plot and ta major plot twis made this one of the dramas I surely won't forget.

49 Days is a very philosophical drama that made me think of the way I live my own life and how other may think of me. It made me think of how I show the people around me that I care and love them. I've learned that its important to show that you care if you do because you never know when its to late.
I recommend this drama to those that like thinking while watching a drama since this drama isn't lighthearted.
If you want to watch a tearjerker then this is the drama to watch.
I wouldn't recommend to watch this drama for the comedy even if there was a lot of funny moments since its not the main focus and can deceive you.

for me the first 10 episodes were good but slow paced, I felt bored a couple of times (not enough to not keep watching) but by episode 11 I was glued to the screen... although the ending wasn't satisfactory for me..... I really wanted a different ending.... I'm glad I watched it, but I won't be watching this again.
Cast: Jo Hyun Jae's role was my favorite as he played Han Kang - I loved him to pieces <3 I loved Ji Hyun 2nd best....then the Scheduler, I really liked him too. I didn't really care for the other characters - they were all important to the drama but I didn't really like them.
Music was excellent, I think I liked every single song (especially the one that kept singing: Nunmulinanda (something about tears))
The point to the show I guess is to live you life to the fullest without regrets but to me the point didn't make sense b/c of how they ended it - kinda feels like "what was the point of going through all of this if they were going to do what they did in the end...." so to me it made the show a little pointless but that's just my personal opinion.
the end left me feeling disappointed....
Re-watch value = 0 - I won't be re-watching this drama - one time was enough for me....
