This is a cute roller coaster of a story. The beginning was catchy and showed potential, the middle went on a steep drop, and the last 6 episodes or so picked up speed again. It has subtle substance but you have to wait and look for it.

I like how the main FL And her best friend are confident and sure of what they want, they are not wishy washy and although it took them some time to act on it they were resolute and firm once they’ve made up their minds. They were determined but was mindful and sensitive to the people around them. I enjoyed their relationship the most, I want to have a friend like that. A lot of crying and blah blah filler stories and characters in between so be patient (or hit the fwd button like I did). I started to fume in last 20 mins of the series as I thought the ending was going be a disaster and started to conclude what a waste of my time and energy, but thankfully the last 3 minutes, and I am being seriously literal here, saved the series for me.! Thank you writer! I can safely say it has a satisfactory ending.

Acting wise the actors were on point, they have achieved what the characters are supposed to make the viewers feel. Hate the antagonist and love the protagonist. I find it funny and that the male lead try really hard to look cool as his character calls for but at times but his youth just shows up in the most natural way (in eating especially). The music was so so, nothing special but the classical pieces were good. Watch this if you have nothing else to watch but don’t expect too much from it.

To start off, what I love about this drama is the fact it has cliches, they aren’t done up like you would expect. While ErDuo is the bubbly happy go lucky main lead they don’t force you to like her character or push her personality down your throat. The acting and story to her character is very downplayed; same with ShuWei! His character isn’t the normal “closed off, hate the world, overly rude to female lead.” The growth you see from his character in regards to showing his emotions and also basically having emotions is lovely.

The romance is very slow and subtle throughout the episodes, which is something I like to see. You can see the two leads feelings grow for each other in every episode. There were points in the story that didn’t add up to me, I disliked, or wasn’t needed (just like any drama) but they made me want to skip them a lot of the time. ErDuo’s mother was probably one of the WORST characters/stories added .

The episodes are only 30 mins and theres 24 episodes. This alone would make me want to rewatch its not too long like usual cdramas. I almost wanted it to be longer, its one I will definitely rewatch when I have a chance.

Had potential ruined by the writers towards the end

I came for the plot breakdown, actors and the music. Sadly Riley Wang is left with his unemotional angry face for far too long in thos drama. Once he warms up, the chemistry shifts for the 2 ml. For most of the drama the 2L love life had a lot more tension and chemistry and I am mad that the writers brought in Mars to take the woman. Yes the guy could have resolved and clarified the misunderstandings sooner and that relationship could have been saved. It is just too unbelievable that after years of loving someone she has fallen in love with another guy rushed into a wedding, even after her love of many years apologized for all the misunderstandings. Sorry you can’t pack it into a box and suddenly be that happy to be insta marrying a stranger - that ticked me off. Then the absolutely stupid way they ended this drama was ridiculous. The FL does not have to care one hoot about random busybody phone calls - and you don’t have to break up with the love of your life nor do you ditch them at the airport like a ghost either. Let him go with you for a bit. Talk it out. Share the creepy phone calls. One of these days writers will get that viewers like the stories to be on an adult level where everyone makes smart decisions and stays happy. We despise idiotic breakups. Business Proposal is one in which they get this right.

Shame, I was about to give this a 8 or 9 but the crappy writing in the last 1/4 of this drama took it all the way down.

Quite good CDrama

Firstly, i chose this tile in Netflix due to not-lenghthy, not cdrama typically. I also chose this after listening to the lines, its simple and good to support my chinese learning. Story is cliche, i can guess the ending as well as the character development, although the characters professions are unique ones. But, the female lead (erduo) , male lead (shuwei), and female sides (lizi, erduo mom) are possessing good acting skills, the chemistry among them are real, although in the story there was some "too good to be true" scenes. The character development is well executed, as there were not so sudden click between the leads. Their chemistry is the most i like!

All I can say is yes, yes yes, this was a drama that quenched my thirst with a ML that is aloof who eventually falls in love with the cute FL. I know most people say that the storyline has been over used ,but who cares ,if I am honest with myself the reason I started watching Chinese and Korean drama's is because of their overused cliché storyline and I am a fan. I love, love ? this drama.

Its subtle yet enjoyable, kudos to the cast , a job well done to the director. I wish for a season 2

It's not an original story, but I confess, the reason I watched it is because it was not original. t followed a tried and true formula of a cold rich guy and the poor girl whose life eases because he loves her so much. I adore these, I adore doting stories, where the ml and fl stay together and support each other for the whole story. I won't put this on the same level as Well Intended Love, but it's got some elements of WIL that makes this cute to watch.

It's good to pass the time, you won't feel the urge to rush to the next episode, but if you're looking for a warm, light hearted drama with no fuss, and brings a smile to your face while you relax, this is one to consider.

I loved the cast, but the story wasn't very natural.

BACKGROUND INFO-------------------------------
The drama is about two young adults who are joined reality TV shows and met there. They had to form a fake relationship the promote themselves in the public eye. The male lead is from a family of musical artists, with a distant personality. The female lead is from an ordinary family, with a more upbeat and slightly clumsy personality. They realize they have common interests and knowledge, and eventually fall in love. But they both have their dreams to pursue, and careers to obtain. (Watch the drama to see how their relationship progresses!)

STORY--------------------------------------------------
In my headline, I said that the story wasn't very natural. What I meant was that there isn't a proper confession, and the leads just suddenly loved each other at one point. The love story starts from a fake romance to promote public view to real love. I think that part was portrayed fairly well in the drama. But I would like to see more of how they started loving each other, and how their relationship progresses after they become a real couple. With that, I give the story an 8.0.

ACTING/CAST----------------------------------------
Many people love Zhao Lu Si (Rosy) and Wang Yi Lun (Riley), and they are perfect in a drama together. The story is what prevented me from giving this drama a higher rating, but it would be great if these two starred in a new drama with a slightly better storyline. The acting is pretty good, but the male lead character seemed like a stereotype no-emotion male lead. That also kind of brought down the value of the story. But the cast is great and the acting was very spot on.

MUSIC--------------------------------------------------
The music was good, and really suited the drama. But the only music there was, was the intro and outro music. Which I expected more songs since this drama is about sound and instruments.

REWATCH VALUE-----------------------------------
Due to the lack of sense in the story, I wouldn't completely watch this over, unless you feel like it. I would definitely rewatch a few scenes though.

OVERALL----------------------------------------------
Overall a very friendly drama, doesn't affect too much of your emotions, but you may feel touched. I think this drama deserves an 8.0. Very nice job, and hope to see the two in a different drama again. (Right now you may have trouble finding all the episodes to watch on YouTube, but if you have Netflix then things are easier. There was some sound problems on a few subtitled episodes, but there is not problem with the unsubbed episodes.)

Opposite attract

I would like to point out that the male actor's portrayal in the drama was unconvincing and lacked emotion, which made it difficult for me to connect with his character. His cold attitude was justified only by his supposed genius, which is a shallow and stereotypical approach to character development. As a viewer of romantic dramas, I expect more depth and sincerity from the actors.

Furthermore, the plot was engaging until the point where the female lead decided to abandon their relationship for the sake of studying in Japan, which seemed like a contrived and unnecessary conflict. Long-distance relationships are challenging, but not insurmountable, and the writers could have explored this theme in a more nuanced way.

Leaving someone stranded at the airport is a cowardly and immature act. Such young adult dramas are usually watched by teenagers and young adults and do not depict the right way to conduct oneself in real life. It is important to demonstrate maturity and responsibility in our actions and decisions.

Lastly, the ending was unsatisfactory and left many unanswered questions. The appearance of an old man and a violinist (?) who knew the female lead and the male lead's sudden arrival in Japan seemed forced and poorly executed. While the ending was technically a happy one, it felt rushed and unresolved.

Despite these flaws, I still enjoyed the drama, mainly because of Rosy Zhao's exceptional performance.

So recently I’ve finish watching “I hear you” and although I was excited to watch it at first, I found it to be pretty boring as the story progress. Honestly, it’s kinda cliché. The whole contract love thing is too much. It’s the same old same old, they signed a contract, hate at first and then fell in love. I don’t know if it’s just me but i seen those kind of plot very often. Not to mention the first half of the drama, the main leads seem very distant.

However, I must give credits for the casting. They played their role well.

I wish that there are more scenes between Bei Er Dou played by ZHOU LU SI and Le Tian played by ZHANG JIONG MIN.

I mean it’s not bad but I am over this kind of drama.

Vague ending

I really liked the story and the way the romance slowly developed. The last few episodes were really the only drawback. I get she wanted him to follow his dreams too. What makes little sense is the leaving him at the airport and separating from him in such a confusing and silly way. I get they are young and many chinese dramas make a big thing about sacrificing for the ones you love, but it was unnecessary in this story. The big sacrifice would really only need to be dating long distance for two years. Instead she gives a speech about dreams, gives him back the ring, doesn't break things off, but sneaks away at the airport taking his ticket and boarding pass. A talk saying "hey it's only two years, we can facetime and visit each other while we both do what we need to, then talk about getting married when we've finished" would have sufficed. Finish off with some scenes showing them talking on the phone or him visiting her in japan, then wedding in two years, etc. That would makr the most sense based on the characters actions and behaviors throughout the drama, not this weird and ambiguous ending.

I didn't decide that I didn't like this show until I was almost finished watching it, and the weak ending made me even more decided that I didn't like it. I also can't say that I disliked this show. There were cute moments, and I loved the leads, the writing was just too disjointed. The leads were together for an entire episode before I noticed it. And I didn't notice because they didn't really decide to be together it just happened. It also took a really long time for them to officially be in a relationship so I wanted more happy moments and less manufactured drama towards the end of the show's, but that's not what I got. They crammed a ton of unnecessary drama in the last 5 episodes so even though they had 24 episodes to tell a very simple story, the ending was still rushed and incomplete.

The cast had wonderful chemistry with each other. Not only were the leads great together they had memorable moments with the secondary characters. The relationship between the female lead and her bestfriend, was so well written and fun to watch that I wish the drama had incorporated it more. There is also an interesting secondary romantic relationship involving the two lead's bestfriends that was very interesting, but had an unsatisfactory development.

I can't recommend this one, but if your like me and don't mind fast forwarding when you get bored, the actors are worth the effort.

THE VIOLIN PLAYING LOL

my friends said it was cringe but i personally really liked it. the only bad part was the violin playing. it was so bad but so funny. it was like they didnt even try to hide it. still love tho :) the romance between them was so cute. i wished the uncle and erduo's best friend ended up together because that dude she actually ended up with just didnt fit in my opinion. at least she was happy?? also saw someone say erduo wasn't pretty but shes actually so pretty i dont know what they were on about. i loved both of the actors
