Like others have stated, Spellbound is one of those movies that incorporates a lot of different genres. Horror and comedy? Can you really make a movie turn out good by using these two genres? This movie is proof of that. It had me laughing throughout more than half of it, but there were also those scenes that had me jumping from where I was sitting because I didn't expect something to happen. If you're someone who doesn't like scary movies, you might find a couple of these scenes to be scary. But there's also comedy that you wouldn't find in a typical horror flick. And romance on top of it! I'm not a big fan of horror films, I get jumpy easily and if I watch one at night before I go to bed - I can guarantee it'll take me hours to fall asleep unless I'm able to take my mind off of what I just saw. This movie is perfect for people who don't handle scary movies that well - because it leaves you not with a feeling of being scared but a feeling of calmness after it's all said and done.
The acting is great! I mentioned already that I briefly saw Lee Min Ki in Shut Up Flower Boy Band and loved him here. He's a really good actor, he has this certain charm about him - I feel he can pull off any look or character and still do well.
I haven't seen Son Ye Jin in anything, so I have nothing to compare it to. I feel she held her role here nicely. They both shared chemistry and the acting was done naturally.
The music didn't really stand out too much to me in this movie. There was one song I briefly remember that had a nice sound, but nothing I'd listen to outside of the movie.
I can definitely see myself watching this movie again. I loved it. It wasn't perfect, but it was done really well.
Overall, I think this movie is worth watching. If you're looking for something with comedy and romance with a dash of horror - you got it. No really, it's worth watching, it might seem odd, weird, but once you start watching you get pulled in. Give it a try (: There's some really funny scenes!

I loved the funny moments in the movie that makes you laugh out loud. The female main lead was my favourite actress which definetly made me love it more. Music was ok.
The scary scenes in the movie freaked me out but chilling romance had a perfect balance of horror, comedy and romance. The backstory's were really clear aswell which helped me to try to understand and relate with the characters
I could watch this a 100 times and still be interested.

One moment we're all tense because we know something creepy is about to happen, then we're laughing our hearts out the very next moment. Take the horror out, and you'll have yourself a weird version of romantic comedy.
The thing I really loved about the movie was how emotionally deep it ran, which made it completely different than a horror or thriller movie. When we watch horror/thriller movies, we know what we're in for. We don't really care about the main character or her other friends (who would typically be killed one after the other) are like. We're not invested in the characters is what I'm trying to say. Two hours of watching something that makes us nervous and scared is what we're after (people are strange like that). So I really appreciated "Spellbound" giving the characters that extra dimension, when we can sympathize with and understand them. I felt for Kang Yeo Ri's loneliness and her wish to connect with others so it wasn't just a horror story with a romantic twist.
Then there's the awesome Lee Min Ki (seeing him in 'Shut Up: Flower Boy Band' made me a fan so he was why I picked up the movie at all XP) as a weird magician that I completely loved. Can you please tell me where I can get a magician dude like you? I love weird, abnormal people. They're always fun to hang out with and it feels like you're free to be whatever around them.
Overall, I really enjoyed the movie. It has humor, comical scenes (yes, they're two different things), depth, and is pretty interesting. The only gripe I have is about one thing that I thought was left unresolved. Maybe it's a bonus because, in most movies, that kind of thing does get tied up neatly in the end, but I still was too curious about it.
Still, I loved the movie and I do recommend watching it!

One of the best Korean movies I’ve ever seen. I usualy hate any movie that has even a slightest element of horror… this one was a BIG exeption! I LOVED it to bits - its horrifically witty. Humorouse romance with the elements of fright left me glued to the screen til the very end (watched even the credits part) of this movie. Actors really outdone themselves - such a good chemistry, that sometimes it felt you could just reach out and touch all these sparkles goin on in between those two. It’s absolutely a movie to watch!

Now a street magician tracking down a woman who gives off the "presence of a ghost" didn't thrill me at first. Yet, watching Lee Min Ki in just those first few moments had me hooked. This was my first time viewing anything featuring him and I loved him in the roll of the main lead, Ma Jo Goo. Thankfully the writers didn't make a standard rich brat as the male lead--though he is indeed rich and a wee bit of a brat--and Min Ki's acting is great enough to make the character even more dynamic. Of course I'm not forgetting about the other cast members. Min Ki and Ye Jin have wonderful chemistry. The romance was hilarous and quite a few times I was laughing too hard I couldn't breath! What I love the most is that Yoo Ri and Jo Goo have a pretty decent relationship and the kisses aren't awkward! Thank you for real kissing.
The remaining cast really makes this movie even more. What I love is that everyone just accepts that Yoo Ri is being haunted. Yoo Ri's girlfriends are my favorite supporting characters. The advice they give to Yoo Ri is priceless! They both think they know so much, but . . . well of course they don't!
The story kept me entertained and I never felt the annoyance about being able to predict the plot. The reason behind Yoo Ri's haunting is really interesting and as a bit of the mystery is revealed I was captivated. It was nice jumping out of my seat from being spooked, while laughing at the antics. The perfect genre blend that any K-drama viewer will love.

I LOVE the story. I thought it's like scarier version of Ghost Whisper but it's more than that. It has funny, sweet, sad, touching, scary, and kyahh moment. Perfect !
I like the cast and I think their acting is really good. I love Lee Min Ki here. He's cute
