New Chapter.

I've read the other review here, and OP is right, Jae-wook definitely got less screen time as I've observed when I watched this on Netflix, I'm gonna look up his scandal after this. I won't spoil this much, but the episode begins with them tied to chains in different rooms, and the team (minus Jae-suk) has to figure out the solution to getting each of their keys inside the room to escape. Min-young unnie is able to help the rest since she's tasked to do so in order for the rest of them to get her out of her room. Everything runs like clockwork from there (you'll understand why I said clockwork when you watch the episode :P I know, my pun is dull) and gets the detective team to solve emerging problems that they will have to most likely deal in the next few episodes. Fear not because the plot connects the previous cases they handled in Season 1, the plot holes there will be filled in I hope *fingers crossed. Anywho, why I put up 9.0 is because I felt like the episode was a bit rushed, and new characters popped up with hasty introductions that I wished would have been delved into more such as (SPOILER!!!!!) Jae-wook's colleague in the agency he was previously employed in. But like I always mentioned in my reviews, these slight flaws (my perspective of flaws anyway) won't impede my will to finish this series. I hope you guys will enjoy their reunion in this season though, I was certainly glad thag Sehun changed! He's become braver and more comfortable with everyone now, and he's taken more initiative as I noticed here compared to the previous season.

frustrations and gaps

I had a very high expectation for the continuation of the story, since the last episode of s1 left a great mystery with the disappearance of jae suk, and I got a little frustrated with the direction it took. I read some reviews before watching and I think I can start to agree with them at the beginning of this season:
- they scream a lot, and in a way that's very apparent to be scripted. I hope they don't lose the naturalness that they had in s1.
- I was a little upset with the way they put kwang soo here, hope that in the next episode things will become clearer. and unfortunately, he's here this season only as a guest, which sucks, since he gave us good laughs before :(
- I can clearly see the role that they pushed to min young of "The genius" and "The head of the group", they make it obvious all the time.
- we hardly see jae wook anymore, he got involved in a controversy and as a way to repair the damage and not affect the show they cut his screen time :(
- I hope they take se-jeong more seriously and give her something more than just the role of the cute one in the team.

and also: rip K, he was a great character (if he's really dead).
