maybe coincidence ....maybe fate

Instead of running away from something, why not look at it as running towards something else? Did I, deep-dive, into philosophy after watching this? Well, I’m not sure, but that's the thought I had while watching...
The drama is not perfect....it need not be ....also if you are complaining about too many coincidences happening....driving it far from reality ....then I have to remind you that it's a drama also this was already mentioned in the synopsis...
Tho there were some elements I skipped through ....but I do that all the time ....so you need not worry ....the drama isn't draggy ...and you won't have any trouble keeping up with its timeline .....
Some stories aren't about a beautiful ending ....it's more about the journey to the end .....it's the same here ... There are multiple stories....which explore many different aspects.... and all of them beautiful in their own way .....talk of dreams....they say you have to work hard ...is it enough to just work hard ...? At times you need to make some decisions you don't want, to keep doing what you love ....is it wrong to do so ...? Is planning the next time being insincere about today's goodbyes....? Is it too late to do what you want...??
The drama talks about all these questions, it looks at things differently and tags you along in the same.....that's what makes it special....every character is uniquely flawed that's what makes them more human and easy to relate to .... just like how people you meet in life have an influence on you the characters influence each other as well ....helping each other deal with problems is maybe a process of finding solace in the world where we're all alone and together at the same time .....
I enjoyed the side characters as much as I enjoyed the main characters....for everyone had their own decision and everyone dealt with the consequences that follow....just like everyone else they'll have to face it ....they are just deciding when and how.... it might look like they were running away but that's not it ...when you look at their side of the story you'll find that they were just trying to make things work for them ...

For people who are still wondering if you should try it or not ....I'd suggest you, try it cuz it has something for everyone...
And here maybe I am bribing you to watch it ....with my favorite quotes from the drama
"You just have to trust yourself, the world will fall for it too..."
"The fact that we can smile at small hopes is the greatest joy..."
"To have the opportunity to be together next time is such a precious thing…
To be able to smile comfortably and talk about the past
To be able to endure today and tomorrow thanks to the person by your side.... having all this is such a blessing"
And at last, lemme tell you that they have shot at really beautiful places...so you're about to be blessed with some beautiful scenery .....and a lot of mixed emotions .....
For me, it was a good experience watching this .....I hope you enjoy the show as much as I did .....and for that you’ll have to try it …..which I hope you do …!!

This drama sure have road like Cheese in The Trap with such ending but for this one I do know understand why the writer did like this.

First the story started with 2 person from diferent continent whose runaway from their shackled reality and tried their best to achive what they want; Han Yoo Kyung for her talent in Photography and Cha Hyunho in Temporare dance which make them met each other again after a long years. Others character have supplemented story like the Soldier and his besfriend's girlfriend which in the end they do truthfully share their feeling, the owner, his son and lover's, Yoo Kyung friend and manager Ban. The struggle with the life which make them runaway and the end they straight their life into the right path. The end just like the screenwriter to do a justice to Han and Cha to pursue their goals (Hyun-ho confrontation with his fiance shown he becomes mature to do what should he did in the past without using his illness and escape from fiance's father grasp; Yoo-kyung confidence and a knowledge of her own talent herself). A real love story which could happened, a very common average. The ending means for both of them started a new life with choices if they coincidentally met to pursue or just become a friend met when travel

The set all the details were same as that timeline, the bus model, phone and what I do amaze how they could gave us a perfect 100% Japanese 20's style. I really like it, the second looks and last looks did show us his maturity side. Shin Hyun-soo did a great job how he deliver his lines, the full energy and light voice 20's, grim and down 30's and an ill deeper mature adult male 33's. Somehow I do mistake him with Choi Daniel when only hear the voices. Han Sunghyeon hair style, fashion and attitude which brought her to potray Yoo-kyung hit the prescription of her character. I love their way to advert Seoul in this drama not too pushy but not too wishy-washy.

BGM and OST sure awesome just like garnish to the wonderful story. Just in some episode?? the audio did not clear and the feeling behind those line undelivered. Great cinematography, every episode have those subtle colours. Hyun-ho solo dance scenes and couple scene are so beautiful. All staffs and actors thank you for do the best when they battling w/ summer.

Btw Cha Hyunho last looks 100% with Fall in Love with Me, Aaron Yan (whatever the issues with gay I still love him).

Twelve Nights was an interesting drama that really pulled me in with it's interesting yet simple plot. It was emotional in a very nostalgic way and I was really captivated by the simplicity.

The story itself was captivating and touching at times, I really saw myself sucked in around episode 3 or 4. At first I thought of it as a light drama but as the episodes go by you start to see the depth of the characters and their development through the years that go by. I thing the main thing that I really loved about this drama was how different the characters were, each character represented a different kind of desperation that people go through whether it's the struggle that one goes through to do what they love, the thought of giving up what one loves for an easier path in life, is escaping reality really an option, is this really fate and many other thoughts that we all go through at some point in life . At some point this drama stopped being a romance drama but more of a drama that I can relate to. It did have some boring parts which is unavoidable at some point but it still held my interest and I did get annoyed at some of the decisions hat were taken by the characters but thats the beauty of dramas. I wont say that I'm content with the ending but somehow trying my best to tell myself that I understand the meaning behind it, think that after watching dramas for too long I started to expect endings to be happy or at least give some hop but in real life such things don't happen.

I honestly can't praise the cast enough for this drama, I know that they aren't as famous but they did an amazing job and I was impressed at so many points throughout the drama.

I was hesitant to watch this drama because the drama had so many mixed reviews. And now that I've completed it I understand why. The plot is often frustrating, nonsensical, and just unrealistic. (Although I didn't find it slow as many others did. Definitely mellow however.) That being said, what kept me watching was the chemistry between two leads. It truly gave me butterflies, and I felt like I was falling in love with them. Also the OSTs for this drama are amazing. They are songs you'll continue to listen to even after you're done watching.

As far a re-watch value, you'll probably only go back to watch your favorite scenes.

I normally immerse myself in things I want to truly enjoy. this was one of them. it was truly cinematically pleasing. this drama sets a story for 2 people who meet in the hands of chance over a course of time. The screenplay was lovely, I would love to meet a group of talented writers to birth a script that isn't unique but make into something that can't be redone. the supporting characters added so much life into the drama and gave it more weight. I loved the leads, to be honest, at first, I wasn't to impressed at the pick but they delivered such a great performance, their chemistry was just the right amount to uplift the storyline into beautiful artwork. the composers are geniuses, I loved each and every piece fixed into every scene, it's like they lived that moment and translated it into music. overall please watch this drama, it's so fulfilling. it says a lot about real relationships with parents, friends, and lovers. it depicted their attraction their journey and their end, showing relationships don't always work out even if it was so much put into it, and sometimes they do. I have never watched a drama that tears me up but doesn't make me cry, but moves me to shed tears when I least expect it. one word. Je Ne Sais Quoi.

If you're a fan of before sunrise and kdramas heavy on destiny, watch this!

The writing is just beautiful. It perfectly showcased the emotions of people when faced with realistic troubles.

First, the idea of fate may seem unrealistic, but what got me drawn in to the story was how each character changed each time they met. The idea of reluctance in their relationship due to their personal circumstances was truly, very nice nice. It was a painful story, and you felt the frustration from both each time their timing went awry. This really was well though of.

Second, the chemistry between the lead actors was just... I can’t even describe it.

Third, there’s photography and dancing as their profession. Both were protrayed in ways you could appreciate them.

The OST was also very fitting.

Finally, it was very real. Finding characters who met at the time when they were both lost, confused, and trying to find themselves. I could totally relate.

travel, fate, passion, forgiveness, second chances

this one is indeed an art. slow pace but more real. it all just takes time. meeting with people again after a long time is a rare opportunity and we must savor every moments of it. fate can be sweet but sometimes brings us to times where it will hurt us. not because we are unprepared means we are irresponsible, we also have dreams we want to achieve on our own but that doesn't mean we're losing someone or something, we'll just earn love & trust again by second chances of forgiveness when we're ready. travel is emphasized here as means of finding ourselves when we're lost and in hardships, to not give up and still try.

P.S: I'm really hooked up on this drama and changes my taste from the clichéd storylines where love always in favor on the way and it is too fast. I want to travel the places they've been here in this series ♡

Goodbyes that lead to another goodbye!

When I picked this drama up, I was in the mood for experimenting something new and something soothing. And to my surprise, the drama did offer a fresh set of eyes to my weary mind momentarily. The beginning was really interesting, but perhaps, the most interesting part of the whole drama.
My takeaway from the drama:
As the story unfolds, we get to see how strangers become part of your story and then your life. You see, sometimes we get stuck inside our head, inside our space and we are unable to find a way out. In those moments of entrapment, perhaps, our only way out is by letting someone in. Because clarity sometimes come from a new perspective, new people, and new place.
Story points:
All in all, the main plot felt overused. It dragged the main story longer than it should have. That's why, I grew fonder of the side-stories. Two in particular I loved the most - the writer and the publisher's story and the guesthouse owner's story! They definitely outgrew the main story and you will find yourself stuck by the drama for them, at the very least. Also, the cultural vibe is really strong with this drama. It offers a non-traditional Korean outlook along with the Japanese and State (USA) backdrops since the male and female lead have a work-history there. Lastly, the music score is very impressive. It binds you to the emotions in the scenes.
I probably won't recommend this drama in our time since we have one to many of this sort with higher overall score. But none the less, this is a solid 7.
Cheers! And if you loved this drama then go watch "When the weather is fine". You will love it even more.

Twelve Nights started really strong, pulling you in with the simple but interesting story. However, towards the ending, it all fell apart. Mainly because the side stories felt like fragments of the story, as they never actually concluded, at least, not all of them. They were many and uncompleted and got the main plot complicated. Also, the idea of getting together but never managing to get actually together got boring after a while, as nothing new was added. Finally, the leading lady was lythargic adn she looked kind of annoyied with everyone she met. She got better though towards the end. She grew stronger as a character, when her co start grew weaker and more secretive. So, all in all four out of ten.

This moves at a glacial pace, interspersed with more flashbacks than you can imagine. It seems that the writer felt that we needed to see every scene at least twice to get the ideas. After 4 episodes, I felt bored by these slow moving, over-thinking and indecisive people and didn't really want to see any more. The sub-plot with the little boy was more engaging than the romance;I'm sorry I don't have the patience with the main story to follow through to see what happens there. Perhaps this slow, turgid pace was intended to be artsy. but it simply made me annoyed. Not for me, but YMMV.

Watch this series. Fiery kisses ?

Hyun Soo, that man..
And how could that girl keep breaking the relationship?
.....
But they had good kisses and I envy them 💋🤦🏻‍♀️
The atmosphere, the colors, the bus, the hands, the eyes, the love of those two people... I want to be like them.🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲
Jealousy, jealousy, jealousy, jealousy.
There is no such couple. deep hugs 🫂🤍
Kinda disappointed about the last episode though
why did they end it like that?😭💔
The story is so sad.
That is its charm. I really like it. I think it was sincere. Its unfortunate that it did not catch a big viewership rating but for the ones who watched it like me I would say its one of those unforgettable series

I really hope that yoo kyung and hyun oh had a happy ending🥹🤲🏻

Slow, a tad frustrating but realish and surrounded by sweetness

Another hard to rate drama, entertainment wise it was not very entertaining, the pace is slow not the stories pace but the way they talk, the way they film and the way it goes just takes forever....

The story itself is a bit different and though we may see some well known cliches they most definitely do not follow the regular pattern. to be honest I would have liked the ending more if they ended it 5 minutes earlier than what they did but that is just a matter of preferences. I did like how they talk about fate coincidences and show different sides to holding on to something. When s it an obsession, when is it a habit and when is passion, dreams, love... yes the drama shows the whole pallet and a whole lot of different healthy and less healthy relationships. So all in all worth watching but just not that entertaining .
