No one will give you the tune of despair like Jang Hyuk does. If you're expecting a father-daughter focused drama then don't even bother because that was less than 5% of the drama. Even the sport theme felt secondary. There need to be a supernatural tag/genre instead of adventure. It's about an evil pharmaceutical company making a drug that gives superpowers. Not even Jang Hyuk heavy lifting the entire drama on his back could've saved it. I wish this was only family/boxing themed, it would've been great. Was this review helpful to you?
Watch this
Great show, Jang Hyuk delivers again. I loved his performance and I was so invested in the struggles and triumphs of his incredibly compelling character. His power and range as a performer is just mesmerizing. This works really well as an intense sports story, a beautiful and heart wrenching family drama, and a gruesome medical thriller. Really liked the characterizations of the second ML and the villains. Once I started watching this I couldn't stop. The only thing that didn't fully work for me was the characterization of the wife in the second half of the drama. She became placid and bland and faded into the background too much as the story progressed. I would have also enjoyed more scenes between husband and wife fleshing out their dynamic more. Was this review helpful to you?

Evils of the pharmaceutical industry
I will admit that I had a difficult time finishing this drama because there were so many evil people in it but Jang Hyuk is the reason I tuned in. If I had known that Ji Cheul would die I am not sure I would’ve finished it. Yet, I’m glad I watched the whole series because I ended up liking the whole cast, even the bad people. The series made me wonder about scientists thinking that their test subjects’ lives mean less than their work and that it’s for the greater good and not fame.
