Me Too Flower is a conundrum for me. When this drama started out I was extremely pleased and excited for every episode.

I loved the original story line. Yes..I do believe it is an original story line: The fact the Jae Hui is rich but a self made man and not a chaebol, the fact that he was a nice man...simply a bit messed up from his past, the plot point of Cha Bong Sun and her need to see a counselor and her very stubborn personality and their coming together as a couple. Also, Cha Bong Sun may have had problems but she was a strong independent woman who had her own career. All of those elements came together in a very non standard Kdrama way. That pleased the heck out of me.

I loved the acting. Yoon Si Yoon was really good in King Of Baking and he was even better in this. He came into this part as a last minute add on and OWNED this part! He was excellent all the way through. Lee Ji Ah was a dichotomy of likable, sweet girl and grumpy jaded woman. And I liked that! I found her a refreshing change from the typical overly happy and good heroine. She felt real to me.

The acting was solid by the whole cast and I gave it a 10. The character development of the two leads was solid all the way through. Their chemistry was addicting as a viewer. I was rooting for them every step of the way.

Up until about 1/2 way through this drama I was a voracious addicted fiend...practically going through withdrawals until the next episode was subbed. But then something happened to the writing that went a little off for me and wilted the flower. The character of Hwa Young and the decision to set into this original story the very non original element of a scheming jealous woman. That is regrettable and why I can't give Me Too Flower a higher score than 8. She killed some of my love for this drama and I absolutely hate having to say it, but it's true.

The technical aspects of this drama were great. All except that one aspect I mentioned in the writing so I have no other complaints.

The OST is excellent! Right down the line..every song was lovely and fit this drama to a T. Especially "Dreaming" I loved the soundtrack to pieces.

My re-watch value I place at a 7 (good) because there are so many episodes of this drama I would re-watch in a heartbeat...especially 1 through 8 and again the last two. The chunk in the middle I want to rage at.

Do I recommend this? Highly. This drama is really good. I think if I had waited until it all aired and dramathoned it, maybe those episodes in the middle wouldn't have felt quite so agonizing. Give this drama a try...You won't regret it. There is so much to like about Me Too Flower.

I'm extremely disappointed right now - not with the drama but with the viewers and MBC, the channel that premiered "Me Too, Flower", for cutting that one episode from the show. It made a huge difference, because I felt there was something missing by the time I finished the drama.

M2F began with the right pitch; it was extremely funny yet preserved its characters' emotional depth. It wasn't empty comedy and handled serious issues like broken families, society's shallowness, and people's materialism.

I was excited for every new M2F episode more than I was for "Man of Honor", but in the end I was surprised that MBC decided not to do the last episode because MBC Broadcast Entertainers Awards was set at the same time the last episode was supposed to air. That's frickin' brutal.

Another thing which I didn't understand is why a lot of people made a big issue out of Yoon Si Yoon looking really boyish/young for his role and how Kim Jae Won would've been more convincing. OMG, are you sure we're watching the same show? I can't imagine anybody else but Si Yoon as Jae Hee. He didn't feel like an actor playing a character, he *was* the character. Love the guy.

The writer threw me off at the end though, why all the fantasy thrown in at the end when the drama was so realistic all along? That's another thing which made me feel it was because of the last episode being cancelled.

I'm really sad because this drama, as awesome as it is, could've been so much better.

Me too, Flower certainly isnt going to make you ponder the meaning of life or reveal to you what love truely is, but that's not what it's trying to do.

what it is trying to do, and does very well, is tell a fun and interesting story. there is a lot more of what americans might expect when they think romance than you usually see in k-drama. the four leads all nail thier characters and evoke in you exactly what they are supposed to when they are supposed to. it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out what happens next, but you like the characters so much that you want to watch it happen, even if you know you arent going to be shocked.

If your looking for an awesome rom com but also would like it to have meaning then this is for you.
When I read the summary i found the plot interesting so i decided to immediately start watching it. There were so many scenes that made me laugh out loud, and I really enjoy dramas with lots of comedy.

What really made me absolutely fall in love with this was the heartfelt and meaningful moments that made cry buckets and think about my life.
The acting was good and I think the romance between the two reads felt real.
Overall this is something you should definitely watch

I actually give this drama a 7.5/10, but it's not quite 8 material so a 7 it is. I finished watching this series a few weeks ago, so it has had time to settle in.

The story was wonderful and I was loving every aspect of it until about halfway through. It caught my attention immediately with a refreshing premise of a man and woman who both have emotion problems that serve as both a foundation and conflict for their romance. The drama delved into the psychological disturbances of its characters and had a promising tale to tell. Unfortunately, it abandoned these essential issues, instead taking a familiar approach of having a jealous second lead provide unnecessary tension that lasted for too many episodes. All of my disappointment with this drama lies within this choice the writer made. As not to spoil anything, I will just say the direction it took felt very unnatural.

Altogether, though, the story was enjoyable. The acting was very good, though not extraordinary. The actors delivered their lines in a believable manner. This was my introduction to both leads, so I didn't have any expectations from either, and was pleased with their performance. Overall, this drama was good, though it had potential to be great, and I would recommend it to anyone who's not sure of it.

I fell in love with this drama from the beginning. I started watching it because I heard Kikwang was going to be in it and being that he's my favorite B2ST member - I had to watch it! With all the complications prior to the first episode (Kim Jae Won's accident - I was also looking forward to seeing him in a new drama) I guess it's no surprise that the drama itself had bad luck in not getting really good ratings and being cut short an episode because of the end of the year show. It's a disappointment, I think they could've used the final episode, but overall it still ended nice and I loved the story! Main female lead who stands up for herself and a male lead who is rich but because of circumstances isn't a spoiled "prince" who thinks everyone is beneath him (it's a nice change).

The acting was really good! Yoon Si Yoon did a surprisingly excellent job after being called in last minute! He really became the character Jae Hui and I found myself really impressed with him! Lee Ji Ah was also excellent in her role! She really fit the character of Cha Bong Seun. And the rest of the cast was good as well, although truth be told I have found myself disliking Seo Hyo Rim's characters in the past drama I saw her in (Scent Of A Woman) and this one now. I think I'll have a hard time liking her in a new role...her character here was more annoying.

And as mentioned in other reviews - Yoon Si Yoon and Lee Ji Ah had really great chemistry! The scenes between them just had me rooting for the couple the whole way!

Park Hwa Young.... Each episode made me dislike her more and more. Her selfishness... you'll feel it when you watch it (which I hope you do!) .

The music was excellent! From B2ST's "Dreaming" to "Too Many Tears" by Suzy. "Dreaming" sounds a lot like B2ST's "On Rainy Days" , but I found myself loving the song from the first episode and went through a period of non-stop listening to it!

I can see myself rewatching this drama again someday, while waiting for subs I put off the last 3 episodes for almost 2 weeks and I feel I would've gotten even more enjoyment from it if I had been able to watch it without the waiting.

Overall - It was my favorite drama of the season! Loved it and definitely recommend it if you're looking for something more than your typical rom-com! Filled with lots of drama and good romance (: Of course there are those light moments that have you laughing as well, but it doesn't make up the whole drama (:

Even in this cold weather & in the middle of my exams...this drama really warmed me...the characters were close to my heart...I could easily relate to their emotions...as expected from the writer of My Lovely Sam Soon...this wasn't some stupid Rom/Com...it had some deep multilayer characters...I highly recommend this to anyone who's passed through a long cycle of depression in his life...this is a drama that will open your hidden wounds and give you a chance to understand yourself more!
I'm thankful for the writer and the cast who didn't give up on this though the ratings were bad and still did their best!
The acting was really good...I'm now a YSY fan...the female lead was a bit expressionless but you get used to it...all the supporting cast was great...specially Professor Tae Hwa!
The music was good & fitting but nothing expectational.
I'll definitely re-watch this :)
Last thing: What makes this drama so special are is the little details of each character...
I hope you guys enjoy this too ;)

This drama was totally not what I expected it to be, and I'm glad about that. I was expecting something lighthearted, but the story turned out to be much darker. The character's have issues, including severe depression, and maniacal obsession. There are funny moments too, but Lee Ji Ah's cold, no nonsense, expression sets the tone for a lot of the scenes. There is also some elements of fantasy in this, which I don't think always worked well. I really liked that none of the characters were quite what they seemed, and were neither all good, or all bad. Cha Bong-Sun, in a lot of ways, is an anti-cinderella, which was often frustrating to watch, but gave this drama some originality.

What made me watch this was Yoon Shi Yoon, who I recently watched play Kim Tak Goo, and loved. He is a completely different kind of character in this, but just as endearing. I look forward too seeing more of Yoon Shi Yoon in the future, and I don't just mean in the shower : ) !His charm alone could've carried the show, but he had great chemistry with Lee Ji Ah. They worked so well together that I had no idea there was a major age difference between them. They also shared one of the hottest kdrama kisses ever! The 1st 7 or 8 episodes are totally addictive because of their dysfunctional romance, but then there's a major shift. I actually liked the jealousy sub plot, and Han Go Eun, but that's when the plot started to follow a more predictable route.

Overall, I thought the cast, story and music were very good, but the first half was much stronger than the last half. I can see myself watching the first half multiple times, and then skipping a lot of scenes to get to the end. I was really disappointed in the last 2 episodes, and thought the ending felt rushed/thrown together. Still, all the characters/plots did get proper endings. Though disappointed, I was never bored. I was just hoping to get that extremely excited to watch feeling back, which I never did.

I do recommend this for lovers of romantic drama. This may seem a little like a bad review, but I was really pleasantly surprised.

*random thought... What kind of name is Pink Chicken?!That's a pop icon name FAIL, lol!*

This truly is an adorable drama. The story is unique, not so unique, but it definitely has it's own twists and turns. The romance in this drama seems real, and true. I don't quite see how they fell in love, but at least they did, right? This drama incorporated not only love between a couple, but all sorts of views of love; love between parents and their children, between siblings, coworkers, friends, the list goes on and on. This drama shows that the greatest thing of life is love, and that it might not be easy, but pushing through and holding on to love will have the best outcome in the end. The cast did great. The actors embodied their characters. I loved how the lead female was not some crazy, outgoing character that most leads are. She wasn't the kind of person that would seem to be the ideal first choice, and that's what made her so unique. The few other lead females were crazy, and took on the evil role, but at the same time were characters that were viewed as human with faults and as a character with a heart. The one thing I loved the most about the lead male, Jae hee is the fact that he was a self made person. The character was not some spoiled heir to some fancy company, but in fact, he worked his way up from the bottom and earned every buzzillion trillion penny that added up to him becoming a billionaire all on his own talent! The music was great. There weren't too many songs, but each every song was a song that you would want to listen to on a regular basis. No fancy lyrics, and no heartfelt impact in the songs, but they were highly catchy and so enjoyable that I am buying the OST to the drama as soon as I can. I probably wouldn't want to rewatch. The drama was cute, but some of the episodes were repetitive. It felt like the writers just added crap to fill the time. Honestly, this drama could have been done in 13 episodes instead of 15, but I'm glad there were more episodes no matter how annoying a few of them may have been. Overall, one of the cutest dramas ever. I loved the love between the main characters. The acting was great, and although the story wasn't highly unique it was still unique in it's own way through the minor details. Cute drama that is worth watching when you're in the mood for a lighthearted cutesy drama. :)

To tell you honestly, when Me Too Flower premiered in 2011, I ignored it. When it was subbed later in 2012, I ignored it again. By reading the plot of the drama on the web, I ignored it. And now in 2013, I watched "Flower Boy Next Door" and got intimidated with Yoon Shi Yoon's acting in it, which is worth applauding. Then I hovered over his other dramas and completed "Baking King : Kim Tak Goo", which is again where he depicts wonderful acting skills!
So this is how I stopped on Me Too Flower and when I started watching, I had tears of regret for ignoring it. For there were times in the story line that were comedy and I liked them. Yeah, coming to the story line, its a light romance story. And the way this love has been directed is nice. I have many favorite scenes in this drama that are worth watching again. Acting being so fine, it made it amazing. Shi Yoon and Ji Ah's roles were amazing on screen and also Han Go Eun acted good as the main villain in power. The last episode is meaningful, for people who have experienced or are going through something like this. "Love has no condition".
The OST is great, suiting every scene. This particular track that plays in every romance scene, "Love you, Love you..", a female voice, makes the scene so alive that you wanna go out and scream.

Overall, I would ask ya'll to give it a go. I ignored it, I regret it. But then at the end of the day, I knew I would watch it. And its worth enough to hook your heart to! :)

First of all, I REALLY LIKE YOON SHI YOON HERE! Some people said that they like him better in The King of Baking Kim Tak Goo, but as for me, I like him better here. As for the reasons, I'll put it in the acting section.

Hmm, I think my first reason why I watch this drama is because I watch the OST's MV.. It's Too Much Tears by Suzy (yes, thanks to Suzy for leading me to watch this..)

Story: the story actually, as for me, just average.. or maybe a bit more than average. the story line is just.. too common. Romance, family problems, love problems, jealousy. Yep, but that's it. Nothing really different from other dramas that excite me more. Maybe I think the only thing that's interesting for me from this drama is Seo Jae Hee's complicated character and background.
Moreover, I think there's not much people interested in this drama, so it took so much time for the English subbed to be out, and it actually decrease my interest.
BUT, one more thing that makes me give score 7 not 6 was, the ending is a perfectly happy ending. It's a happy ending for everyone. I really like the ending :)

Acting: I read in a few source that originally, Seo Jae Hee will be played by Kim Jae Won. But I think, switch him to Yoon Shi Yoon is a great idea. In my opinion, Yoon Shi Yoon has successfully brings out the "dark" side of Seo Jae Hee. Seo Jae Hee is a complicated character, and Yoon Shi Yoon has succeed in playing his role :)
As for Lee Ji Ah, she also did a pretty good job. The thing is, I really like the chemistry between Seo Jae Hee & Cha Bong Seon! It makes me goes "Awww.. so sweet :)"
And Ki Kwang! He is just sooo cute. Jo Ma Ru's character suit him well! The rest of the character is also great.

Soundtrack: most of them are good. It really swings my mood while watching, even outside of it. Some of them are now playing continuously in my playlist.

Rewatch: just like I said in the story section, the plot is actually not much different from other dramas, and maybe it's my personal opinion, because I don't really rewatch the dramas I've watched.

Overall, it's just good. Nothing outstanding in particular, besides from Yoon Shi Yoon's acting and Jae Hee-Bong Seon's chemistry.
