I was excited to see a new series of Bangkok Love Story in Netflix after I enjoyed Plead. However, after finishing the series I felt like it was just an 'ok' series. The first few episodes were interesting - mainly because it took time to introduce the four personalities but after then it felt a bit of a drag. The most annoying repetitive dragging is the 2-men gang appear to wreck havoc in the parking lot, in the studio, etc. It was like - uh - what? again? This probably happened like 5 times. Another annoying thing about the series is the Korean restaurant owner who I want to sleep everything she screams OOOPPAAAAA. She is the worst one dimensional crap character. It was not even funny. It was annoying.

A lot of circumstances are quite not believable. Why would a mother allow her daughter to be alone in Bangkok knowing her condition/situation? All along I thought she was dead just like her father. It makes zero sense. Granted tho, the whole flashback is probably my favorite part, it just feel a little contrived.

Going back to the 2-men gang, are they really stupid? Why they kept on asking for the phone when everybody knows the owner of the phone can copy the files - and why Jess did not do it immediately after the first run-sack of the studio? It is just stupid move. Not to mention, going straight to the cops and have them arrested would do the trick.

They have enough materials IMO to get a 13 episodes in, but they should have just fold the gang story in like 5 or 6 episodes and perhaps spend the latter 6 episodes on flashback and the teacher as a villain.

Overall, it was an okay series. To be honest, I don't really see and feel the spark between the two leads.

Looking at the poster, it might seem on first glance that Typhoon Kanokchat is a real player in this one, but when you look closer, you find that he is actually surrounded by just one and the same woman. She's got some personality disorder just for the purpose of this small drama (I wouldn't look for medical accuracy here:) and it looks like she's got a broken phone containing some evidence on some thugs, so it's very important for her to get it repaired, and so she contacts an extremely talented repair man:-) And just as likeable a guy. He promises her, that when she'll come to collect the repaired phone, he will give it only to her, and not anyone else, "even if she'd look like her". Then she indeed comes to his shop wearing flashy clothes and a wig, introducing herself with other name, asking for the phone. The guy is very good in not giving in, keeping the promise that he'll return the phone only to Jess, the original version he first met. When he hears her calling herself otherwise he doesn't return the phone, despite being able to tell that she IS the same girl...

I must say I liked Typhoon in this, previously I watched him only in a villain, sleazy guys roles but he is very cute and likeable here. Saiparn Apinya is also engaging to watch, clearly she is attractive enough in her "civil" version for the main guy, so when she gets very forceful in seducing him aggresively as the "sexy version", it is not needed and actually looks bit embarassing. When she comes up dressed as an innocent schoolgirl, it is not better (in 2019, Saiparn Apinya was 29). It's made obvious to the viewers that she is only acting as somebody else, because no matter what she wears, we can always see clearly her peculiar tatoos she's got on both arms and various many other places, that confirm her identity instantly. Someone mentioned the plot being stupid, having the 2 thugs appearing again and again pestering the girl, then conveniently disappearing... I think that is not so important, they might just represent her inner demons she kept fighting. After all, this isn't the first 'Bangkok Rak Story' I watched, and if there was anything notable about them all, then it was - despite the title - the lack of STORY. It was always about the atmosphere, morelike... This is same.

I mostly enjoyed this though there were elements I wanted to skip (like the korean wannabe girlfriend), and I was more or less just sorry for the main guy being pestered by all the girls so much and getting dragged into their problems, he was such a good guy lol.

The way I see it, it might as well ended in episode 5, she should give the phone to those thugs and thus get rid of them, on the contrary, the main guy she should have keep:-) If she still remained in a dangerous situation though, the only good thing she could do for him was to not involve him. Also, with her many alter ego personalities, SHE was already a handful. I admired the main guy being willing to put up with it. But, in the words of her only friend, she "was similar to an object that was broken". And... He WAS a repair man;-))

In 1/2 of the series, it was clear already THAT the guy was really interested in the girl: because he stayed. Did he deserve a better girlfriend than mentally ill one? I think yes, but there we had the comparison with the korean girl wearing flowers in her hair every day and threatening to jump the roof if he won't date her, and SHE was supposed to be healthy, lol. So, if he did choose the main girl, then I should cheer for them. And the writer prepared their love story well, given the material. I think this was the first time I watched multiple personality disorder used by the writer for a romantic effect;-) After 10 episodes, we can also see clearly that main girl fell in love with the guy already. She already hit that point in her life where she given up on love life, and still she decided to give him a chance and it was very sweet. 3 episodes remained to tell how it worked out...

I liked that she showed trust to him and he showed understanding. Soon enough, it was revealed each of her alter personalities had reasons. Their couple was cute and I shipped them:-) The episodes where they were just with the mom in the country, far away from all the other side-characters (especially the thugs, the korean girl, etc.) were blessed. But, soon we were back. And, it was like a step back. Instead of the relationship conclusion, we watch a demented action final... Then there's a rushed, speedy happy end. Overall, if someone did not write this like they were on drugs, my rating could be much higher:)

Loved It but it was lacking in a many ways

Video quality was great. the quality felt like a movie with its own style.
Most Importantly I gotta get this off my chest! it made no sense how she kept going back to her apartment where the men kept attacking. And it made even more nonsense how they kept getting in!!!!
The ending was rushed I feel like she truly did not get over the man that hurt her in the past. Also what happened to her friend was very unnecessary. Many things happened in the end that was too much and I'm like "what in the world!" How the Main Character doesn't want the man in her life to help her because she loves him but will let her friend stay and get hurt makes no sense.
The main actress is really great but I feel that she had a bit of trouble making Joey and Pinky more different. The way they acted felt the same. I don't know Thai so maybe her wording with the two was different BUT the way they acted physically felt the same.
She did a beautiful job with her emotions between the three characters (excluding Joey) because when she was pretending to be Pinky on purpose I could tell. And when she was actually Pinky I could tell. She did a wonderful job on acting even in subtle ways.
I feel like a person with DID would laugh at the developments in the drama where they were trying to help the main character cope with DID. They could have done a better job on the information of DID without drowning us with info.
