This drama is so intense and dark... it’s way darker than voice 1. The story outline is so tight and detailed... maybe that’s why it took 2 season to finish this arc.The brutal scene and music that can make you cringe and hold your breath for a few seconds.
I didn’t even expect the cannibalism part... that was so unexpected.
For the ending... it’s the most suitable and realistic. Try to understand that it’s not easy to fight his demon... let’s give him a break and hold your idealistic happy ending.
There’s a post credit. Hoping for next season.
If you haven’t watch this... then give it a go and prepare yourselves.

If I was to compare out of the trilogy this would be my standing on it.
Voice 3> Voice> Voice 2
Story:
From start to finish, there was so much going on and nothing was slow. The antagonist was well written. Also Kouske! kouske, kouske. Boy did I love how he stayed true to his character! It took alot of things Voice 2 needed improvement and truly made it into a masterpiece. Also thank god there was no romance or else the whole show could have been ruined!
Acting/Cast: Amazing acting from Lee Jin Wook, Kang Center, and the antagonist. However, I think there could have been some improvements from the call center support cast such as Seo Eun Seo and Kim Woo Suk.
Music: it fitted well especially BLOO Open Your Eyes was such a good modern match! I wish they played it more in the show.
Ending: I liked the ending. It was great.
Hoping OCN create a season 4 plss ;) there is so many possibilities, it is a waste not to.

Worst season yet
I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't a huge fan of this season. I even stopped watching and just finished it cause of season 4.Now this is a continuation of the second season which I did like, so why was this one not as good? Well, it's cause the second part of the second season and this whole season unfortunately got the so called "Male lead takes over" syndrome. Which is what it sounds like, the male lead get so much screen time that the female lead, which in this case actually is the MAIN character, pretty much becomes a support character, and what made the first season so extremely good disappeared for me.
The story itself isn't bad. The case is just as dark as the first season and the acting is fine. But the fact that the male lead got way to much focus was nagging me too much in the end. I did like the male lead and the actor is great but when there are two leads, then they should have about the same focus. But enough about that. The only thing otherwise that bothered me, was the lack of understanding of what a psychopath is and how you treat mental illnesses.
Like I mentioned, the acting is fine. The first season was one of my first K-dramas so I didn't get the dislike the female lead actor got for being bad at acting (in comments). Now finishing season 3 while adding a lot of K-dramas to my completed list, I can see that her acting isn't the best, but of course not bad enough to get the dislike I've seen her get. (Also not really about the drama, but the amount of hate I've seen the character get on comments and stuff makes no sense. She is the main character, the title is Voice cause she could hear the killer's voice in the first season. Taking her away would just make it to another police drama, not Voice) Other than that the acting has been great.
The music is killer as usual. The heavier sounds of the voice soundtrack in this season is amazing. My favourite is still the second season version, but this is a close second ^^
As of this review the fourth season has already begin so I'm exited to check that one out. Even though I think this season is the worst yet, I wouldn't say it's not worth checking out. If you liked the first season and the second then you should of course continue with this one ^^

I can say it is darker than the first two Voice series
What I really like about this 3rd series is the struggle of Do Timjangnim with his illness and how he got his character development. It makes me teared up few times and how he always fighting the demon within him.The plot is darker and it still have a lot of cases and some new cases lead to the main plot. The 3rd season also feels more emotional for me but it was still thrilling with some action. I also like the realistic ending.
The acting is great as always and I like how Lee Jin Wook can deliver this raw and rough character of Do Kang Woo.
Overall this is probably my favorite Voice series!!

MUCH MORE!
I once read this quote and I instantly remembered the leading actor Lee Jin Wook role in this drama."much more.
you are tougher than your demons.
you are greater than the pain."
The agony that Do Kang Woo lived fighting his demons was really sad and heartbreaking to see, and Lee Jin Wook has done the job just perfect. I became a huge fan of his after seeing him play this role in this drama. And I bet everyone who watched Voice 2&3 became his fan as well!!
I enjoyed Voice 2 to the last episode and I was hoping that Voice 3 will not be completely be about the dark web crime, but it was )": I mean there was some different crimes along the series but at the end the highlight was catching the main psycho behind the dark web. Lets hope this will not be the same case for season 4!
The thing that I disliked the most is that during the last episodes, it was obvious that the writer did not know how to wrap up the story and answer all our questions to the murder happened in Japan, there was some points that needed extra explanation and convince us of the season ending scene.
Overall, I enjoyed watching all the three season of Voice, and I can't wait to see season 4.
See you in the next drama (:

All the Korean Voice dramas have been great. Voice 3 is a great followup.
This is a great followup to Voice 2 building nicely on the stage that was set then.Have really enjoyed all of the Voice dramas to date .... there is so much going on, yet there is always great moral building in the episodes - so everything has a point. Really like that emphasis .... not just an action drama without understanding.
The story line is believable as fiction and flows very well with the individual stories tying together in an interesting fashion.
Great effort by the actors, the writers and everyone else involved. Much appreciated.

So the plot twist fuccccccc I definitely liked this season more than second but season 1 is still my fave I'm afraid overall I don't think I can rate it higher than 7.
The one major issue I have with Voice is the lack of villain's screen time. It makes for a very average viewing.
Merely prolonging the case making the villain appear at the end after the countless episodes of only their "shadow" then however you deal with them makes it unsatisfactory.
That's my biggest gripe with the show.
Otherwise this season had a lot of gore and angst way more emotional than the second one.

Let me just say I was in love with Do Kang Woo's character. It was so complex but at the same time it gives you plenty of time to relate with him. I love the way he portrayed this character. The story line was great. The only point at which i was disappointed was that there were few stupid things in that drama. Such as what's with leaving an important witness alone and taking a phone call in different room. Like you know they can be killed why are you leaving them alone time after time. This pissed me off so much. Overall a good drama. Was this review helpful to you?
Voice series are the perfect mash of slow burn psychological and fast-paced crime thrillers
finished, wow.i think the final episode is the weakest of all the episodes that precede it. without giving out spoilers about its ending, the physical fight at the end felt kinda lackluster because they used guns to finish it fast and cleanly LOL. i'd love to have seen some more physical struggles between the two, but the villain actor here is not exactly an action actor so maybe that's why they can't execute it so much. it would have been a much stronger finale if they had done something like what Strangers from Hell did for the finale. their final episode there was awesome and batsh*t crazy!!
also when people say they liked Kim Jae Wook's villainess in season 1 the most, i think i can understand why. the gore in that is quite insane. but i also liked Kwon Yool too. the thing is in season 1 of Voice, they introduced Kim Jae Wook rather late, so they sidetracked a lot to someone else. in season 2, Kwon Yool was introduced/identified early and therefore more directly integrated into the story. in season 3, they used similar tricks to season 1 in introducing the real villain so we get several accomplices, and he comes through more towards the end. and unfortunately with that limited screentime he doesn't even have that many impactful scenes. considering his murder tool is the wire that can cut blood nerves very fast and cleanly, he may not have to be muscular and well-built. but i definitely wished it was played an actor with such physicality and someone who fights really well, because i think it'd make the creepiness factor a lot more intense. someone like Cha Seung Won, Park Hoon, Go Joon or Jo Dong Hyuk.
therefore, based on the series, i would say i loved Season 2&3 the most from the three seasons so far. Lee Jin Wook's extremely complex character and particularly Kwon Yool's villain character in season 2 really made such a huge impression on me. also, i am forever a trash for Lee Jin Wook because of this drama. i first watched him in Sweet Home and his brutality in there creeps me out a lot, so my favourite character there was actually Song Kang's. but from the first seconds i saw him here, i was already hooked. he's a very mesmerizing actor!!! i am so glad they split his story arc in two seasons, it ended up being insanely satisfying for me despite the tragic ending.
i was really close to giving this a 10 until i finally see the finale, but 9.5 is good enough. really one of the best out there for its genre!!!

Horrible ending and setting the male lead for it from the beginning
Season Two was so much fun to watch than this one ,, the previous season had more cases to solve ,, the male lead was sane and his mysterious past was intriguing ,, this season was so much more disturbing , painful and sad mostlythey set up the male lead for his horrible demise from the beginning
they made him insane and had some sort of terminal illness ,, they didn't give us the viewers any hope for him
then they focused more on the gore of the psycho and what he did to random people ,, they didn't have many stories like the previous season ,,
the acting was amazing from the male lead especially but the female lead made me hate her in this drama
The female lead's acting is horrible ,, she doesn't show emotions properly ,, in the most dire situations she just had one face ,,, it was cringing ,,some times I yelled at my screen ,,, yell lady shout be angry ,,, cry out loud ,, change that stupid concern look for all your emotions
The female lead ruined this drama for me with the plot that set the male lead up from the beginning
I gave 8 rating and it's good one because I enjoyed how the male lead played his character so much also the supporting cast they were really good too but the ending made me feel sad and angry to be honest

darker and more intense
compared to the previous seasons, this season is even darker, more complicated and bigger scale. so the intense was really high. because of that, i enjoyed this season the most even though i would say season 1 is still the best season. for s3, the tense in every episode ughhhh love it, and i reaaaaally can't guess who's the real villain. also, as it centred more around the main characters, so i really look forward to the next episode because i want to know what happen to do kang woo and the way he fights the demon in him (can't help but remind me of sweet home haha). love his character so much, i hope he will be somehow included in s4. there are parts that were sloww and draggy, and many repetitive plot. i feel like they could just combine s3 and s2 by lengthening s2 to 16 eps, if it's not enough then 20ep. oh and there are some emotional scenes which some i almost cried, which is another reason i enjoyed voice3 the most. i enjoyed it anyways. looking forward for s4!!Was this review helpful to you?
