When I started this drama I was expecting some quirky romcom with elements of underlying seriousness. Instead, it was an intense and complex crime drama with a cast that brought their characters and story to life. Every episode makes you want more. It's the perfect binge drama that keeps you on the edge of your seat, wanting to know what's in store for these characters next. I'm also so impressed by Jinyoung's portrayal of Lee Ahn. Even though his fans all know he's a good actor, he really exceeded expectations.

After watching the first 6 episodes I thought this was like a teen version of While You Were Sleeping, but as the story progressed I felt that the show has lost its charm. Early on the drama had a great balance between romance/comedy & procedural, but after episode 10 all we are left with is the procedural part & honestly it's not that good. Sure the direction of the plot was a bit unexpected, but ultimately it was a mediocre crime drama by the time we reached the conclusion. If I think about it the show kind of reminded me of Inspector Rex, Ahn's ability & the way he used it is not quite unlike what Rex (or any police dog) could do. I'm wondering who is the target audience for this show, early on I thought it was a YA romance that I'm sure made many bored that are into procedural/crime specifically & the second half made me bored, I still think that Hallyu isn't comparable to the west, when it comes to procedural/crime dramas, if I wanted to watch something good in that genre, I wouldn't have gone for a korean show.
I think Jinyoung should've stuck with singing, his performance is less than convincing to put it bluntly, almost everyone else did an exceptionally good job acting though.
Still I don't regret watching He is Psychometric, there were some memorable moments, the OST was great (albeit a bit repetitive), the photography is also exceptional.

I am a "kdrama skipper," meaning that I skip a lot during boring dramas but I did not skip A SECOND in this drama. The concept of this drama was SO interesting like the main character can read the "memories" of a person/object he touches. This drama went from this cute/heartwarming story (though not really cuz of the intro) to a mystery/thriller real quick and I was so shocked at the number of plot twists in this drama. But even when it became a mystery/thriller, there was still a perfect balance of comedy and romance. How is that possible?? This drama is SO GOOD and underrated. I really wish more people would give it a chance. There were scenes where my jaw literally dropped and I fangirled with my sister and we had our minds blown together. I definitely would watch again. Amazing. :D

I watched until episode 11 -- then I struggled for one-and-a-half years to even pick it up again. I finally managed to work my way through the last episodes in the course of another six months.

One main reason for this is the main male character, Lee Ahn, who I thoroughly disliked. He is cocky and self-assured without having any abilities to support it -- and it feels that he thinks it's enough that he is himself and has this psychometry to be allowed to flaunt rules.

Another is the romance, which felt forced and superfluous. Is it not enough to share the same traumatic childhood exerience? To have the same goal? Why does it have to be romance, when partners and eventual friends would have made enough sense?
I did not feel any sexual or romantic attraction between them. For the longest time, Jae In seemed to be more annoyed than romantically interested.
They wouldn't do a romance arc if the young people had the same gender, so why force this into a good mystery?

Because the mystery plot was quite good otherwise -- the storyline of the dangerous stranger whose identity is slowly revealed and how he connects to the mysterious Kang Seong Mo was delightfully muddied by the storyline about corporate fraud.
It seemed that we knew everything already in episodes 11 to 13 or so (which is also part of why I had trouble continuing at that point) -- but then there's a surprising plot twist!
(The story telling though was a bit too slow in the last episodes.)

Kang Seong Mo was by far the most interesting character, and his actor subtly portrayed his emotions -- emotionless robot, even though it seems to the other characters, he is not. Without him, I would probably not have made it through the drama.

An honourable mention for Jae In -- one of the few female characters in a drama who can hold her own -- yes, she "needs" to be saved by the male lead at least once, but other than that, she is indispensible to the plot, and actually more competent than Lee Ahn.

Overall, it's not bad -- just not something I liked. If you don't mind romance in your mysteries, cocky male characters and slow pacing, then it might be for you.

Let me just start off by saying that this entire drama was so unexpected. Every minute that passed by had me even more hooked to the plot. Yes, this is one of those addictive kdramas.

Story: Now, solely focusing on the plot, it was amazing. There were no loop holes anywhere and neither were they scenes that made you cringe. It was produced wonderfully and I loved how everything eventually linked and made sense towards the end. Although, this drama requires a lot of thinking in my opinion and its almost as if you have to actually use your own brain to try and understand what the characters are getting at.

Acting/Cast: One word, SPECTACULAR. You know whats more astonishing about this cast? These are actually most of the characters first big main roles. However, Shin Ye Eun has already acted as a main role in a really good web drama A-teen, I was still really happy for her because this is a much bigger drama. Furthermore, the rest of the main cast did an amazing job despite it being their first big main roles, like Kim Kwon who played Kang Seong Mo, you could evidently see his good acting skills and he gave off a great vibe about the character's personality, which wasn't misleading at all. Secondly, Kim Da Som who played Eun Ji Soo was also a perfomance well done. I really enjoyed seeing her in this drama as she portrayed her character so well. Lastly, Park Jin Young who played the main protagonist, Lee Ahn was fantastic at portraying his role. Personally, I think he fitted Ahn's role the best and his personality just really matched up with his appearance. However, one thing I noticed in the first few episodes, was that he wore the exact same outfit each time he went out of the house, which was quite often but I didn't really mind that as it only lasted for 2 episodes or so. Overall, everyone's acting was really good and not cringy at all, they gave off an accurate vibe of the characters personality and I liked that the most about the actors.

Music: The music was very well fitting as it gave me the feeling I am supposed to feel during that scene. Additionally, it wasn't cringy or anything of that sort.

Rewatch Value: I'm not really one to rewatch dramas but this is one drama that I will definitely rewatch at some point in my life as it was just so well written and well portrayed. It was the perfect mixture of comedy, romance, thriller, drama and everything in between.

Overall: If you're wondering whether or not to watch this drama- watch it because trust me, you won't regret a single bit of your time. If you enjoy watching a light hearted comedy mixed with thriller, action and a tinge of melodrama then this drama is definitely for you. I would advise you to watch this drama all in one go even though thats not very healthy lol, but it will get you in the feels and emotions of the drama which is an extraordinary feeling.

Was….like…what?!

Plot : Mmmkay, I expected this one to be like W-Two world or Hotel Del Luna ,but I got Room .It started a little bit silly, lighthearted…yes we had this big event at the start of the drama. But after it,it’s pretty chill…at least the first 3 episodes, after it?It’s a mess, and VERY unexpected.
The Psychometric powers where an interesting part of the drama, never heard of it before ,so that’s nice. The actors did a great job ,my only complaint is the editing…some scenes changed to fast and not smoothly.I did go into this drama “blind”,so that’s what I recommend to do.
THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN OUR MAIN COUPLE(S)?:
The romance was cute and sometimes silly, the chemistry was there! So I’m happy with that.
HOW IT ENDS
*Mild Spoilers*
I mean….What?! Like actually…what?! Did I expect the ending(or really the last 3/4 episodes)???HELL NO …You need to watch it,like for real!

I thought the story was really good, it unfolds and unwraps itself, twists in a few different directions and while some bits are relatively predictable, some are less so - so there's plenty to keep the viewer engaged and puzzling over the real story as it unfolds. Ultimately the story proves to be quite deep and well thought out, there's a LOT going on and it spans quite a long period of time.

Visual effects are quite interesting as Lee Ahn uses his ability and they fade the screen between the various memories he's seeing.

Acting - I wasn't totally convinced by Lee Ahn's character, though it wasn't bad at all, just something felt a bit weak in the performance. I thought Jae In was great, and she had some fantastic moments. Sung Mo was brilliant, I found it hard to read him and that gave me some clues as to where his character was heading but even then it wasn't quite 100% - very nicely done.

The little side thing that goes on between Dae Bong and So-Hyun didn't get enough time for me, I thought that was interesting and they only dipped into it occasionally and briefly. It was a good opportunity to expand more on Lee Ahn's best friend and actually put some of the story of him winning So-Hyun over in. It would have added some light moments in between what is otherwise a pretty heavy story. That said, what was in there was good.

Overall I really enjoyed the story, thought the actors did generally a great job and definitely glad to have watched it. The nature of it being a mystery however does make it less interesting to watch a second time as all the mystery is now gone though a second viewing would be interesting to see what clues I missed in the first viewing perhaps.

There's some good surprises and twists in this one - don't let the fact that there are some potential twists that are much more obvious trick you into thinking this one is easily predictable. Definitely worth a watch.

I liked this drama right up to the final episode. The characters were interesting and multifaceted, the villain chilling and intriguing. But I was really disappointed in the clumsy way that the story was wrapped up. I felt like they tried to smash too much into the last 60 minutes, when they should have balanced it across 15 and 16.

*Spoilers Below*

I felt that it would have been a better tribute to Eun Ji Soo's death if Seung Mo had decided to turn himself in for his crimes because he was genuinely moved by her unrelenting love and belief in him, rather than because of his mother's request. Also, I thought the last 15 minutes of the episode were disjointed. TBH, I thought it should have ended with Lee Ahn talking to Seung Mo in the prison, because the drama began with them and it really was Ahn's and Seung Mo's story, not Ahn's and Jae In's.

Worth every second

Wow! I was feeling all the emotions I was meant to be feeling at exactly the right times: I was laughing when they wanted me too and crying buckets seconds later.

Sure, I admit it, I originally only watched this for Jinyoung (and partly because the idea of psychometry sounded cool) but I'm glad I watched it for many more reasons than that now. The storyline played out beautifully, everything happened right when it should and there was never a moment where I felt bored or thought something should happen differently or not happen at all. I became really invested in the characters which is a testament to everyone's acting abilities and I thought for this reason that the casting was spot on.

Although I loved everything about it I feel like I should add that i'm glad I originally wanted to watch it for Jinyoung because his acting was amazing and he really added to the overall perfection of the show

The first eight episodes is like romantic comedy, the main lead is aloof and very silly
The last 8 episodes is more serious, zero comedy, thriller, suspense, mystery, anything can happen
There is also plenty of twists, one big twist near the end, my best advice is don't try to predict whats going to happen next for you to enjoy this
The actors acted out everything on point, I feel they all did an excellent job, especially the lead male actor, he was on point
The cast is likable, An, Jae In, An's Brother Seong Mo
Music is just right, not like omg so good put on repeat but sounds good
The pace is not bad, slow at times but it wasn't boring, story keeps going

This drama worth watching, dont try to predict the plot and it will be a fun ride, i promise you that much, dont try to predict it !
