Nika and Arata's first outing together gets interrupted when classmates cathc them together and invite them to an otaku outing at Akiba. Exhausted by the weird expedition things gets worse when Arata's mother shows up, and asks Arata to move in with her. The emotional turmoil is too much to Arata and he runs away with Nika chasing after him to comfort him, because of this they get stuck in an elevator and Arata confesses the whole story about his mother, and Nika learns his father has a job offer over seas. When Arata doesn't end up showing up to school for 4 days she believes that he has left, and starts crying where Arata finds he and tells her that he won't be leaving.
