I started watching this because, as any of you that know me, know I am a HUGE Johnny's Fan and KAT-TUN being one of the main groups I follow. The thing that stands out most about this drama is that you can feel that the actors had fun making it and that carries to the screen.

The story is a basic one girl -leaves-boy, boy changes to get her back, this is his journey told with laughs and mishaps. The heart of music is a parody of music's iconic stars from Jimi Hendrix to Gene Simmons.

I found myself smiling through each episode, if not laughing out loud, and being touched by the end episode.

It’s my first time watching Ueda on a drama. His role is hilarious! It’s a contrast on how I see him on KAT-TUN (on MV’s and on his show Honoo no Taikukai TV). I never would have thought that the first drama that I'll be seeing under Ueda's works is a hilarious drama. Well, part of the reason was I watched it because of Shigeoka Daiki. I love his combination with Shigeoka Daiki on this drama – they’re both funny! They also had performed a song in this drama together. The series is solid gold and you'll never notice the time running until it ends because it'll just make you laugh a lot!!

Before I forgot, Ayaka Wilson is on Dean Fujioka’s Maybe Tomorrow MV – please watch it! :D

One thing is certain about saving rock : it is entertaining. The first episodes were solid gold, with clever humour and hilarious characters. We are introduced to the main story and how the main character tries (and often fails) to save money by living more frugal. The drama, however, slows down after a while, and the comedy is lessen. But, the bromance thrives, replacing the comedy element wonderfully. My only concern was the overdramatic-overacted scenes that could have been less. However, overall, the performances were really good. So, seven and a half out of ten.
